1. Stop promoting child violence 
It has become very common to log onto popular video sights online and view fights between school aged children. I want to stop the ability to upload a video that involves minors in any sort of violent behavior.
I want it to be against the law to video tape and upload a video of a child onto the internet that is being hurt or attempting to hurt another child or person.
I want those creating and uploading the videos as well as those allowing the videos to be posted on their websites held responsible. I no longer want to see real life violence between children being used as a form of entertainment on the internet.
2. Support the use of Alternative/Unconventional medicine. T.H.C The Cure For Cancer
I would like to refer you to numerous studies (since 1974!) that show that cannabinoids kills cancer cells, shrink tumors, halts the spread of invasive carcinomas, and prevents occurrence; cannabinoids signal the cancer to go into apoptosis which is “programmed cell death” after Ceramide begins production.
Studies:
-university of VA -THC causes kills leukaemia cells;
-University of Texas study showing the CB1 receptor (which is activated by cannabis) suppresses colorectal cancer tumor, when the CB-1 receptor is lost cancer can occur;
-Univ of Southern Florida study showing that cannabis blocks cancer causing viruses;
-Harvard study showing cannabis cuts lung cancer growth in half;
-The British Journal of Cancer reports that cannabis treats prostate cancer;
-Pacific Medical Center Research Institute found that cannabis halts breast cancer.
3. Petition against Bill S.978
The bill states that you will not be allowed to stream or post any music or video game play on the Internet. That includes Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and any other major websites. There are many people who's jobs involve posting videos on YouTube. These people who work for gaming companies like Machinima.
If this bill were to pass, many people can lose their jobs. Another example is how some people can become famous by posting themselves on YouTube and singing songs. Many people may dislike Justin Beiber, but he still became famous and signed to a record deal by posting himself on YouTube singing songs by other artists.
4. Kathi McDonald Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Kathi McDonald's landed the vocalist her first big professional gig when she was attending a concert and joined in as part of the audience. McDonald's powerful voice drew Ike Turner's notice in a club called the Winterland, and he invited the aspiring singer to his and Tina Turner's next rehearsal. McDonald had snagged a ...spot in the Ikettes, the Turners' backing group. It was a heady and magical beginning for someone who never had any formal lessons.
Born in Washington state in 1948, McDonald performed professionally for the first time around Seattle when she was 12 years old. At the age of 19 she set off for San Francisco and its burgeoning musical climate, where she met the Turners and, through her association with them, took the first step on a career path that would span more than four decades.
Not long after the evening at Winterland, her talent caught the attention of Big Brother & the Holding Company's Sam Andrew. McDonald threw her lot in with the band in 1969, leading to appearances on the albums Can't Go Home Again, How Hard It Is, and Be a Brother. She went on to sing with Mad Dogs & Englishmen for Joe Cocker, and later sang with Leon Russell's Shelter People. Her session work included recordings for such artists as the Rolling Stones, Nils Lofgren, Rita Coolidge, Delaney & Bonnie, and Dave Mason. Her work for other musical artists totals up to appearances on almost 160 albums, more than six dozen of which achieved gold status. In addition, McDonald also launched a solo career in 1974 with the release of the album Insane Asylum. The recording was arranged by Pete Sears, whose formal band associations include Hot Tuna and Jefferson Starship.
Insane Asylum featured performances by Tower of Power, the Pointer Sisters, Aynsley Dunbar, John Cippolina, Neil Schon, and Ronnie Montrose. Kathi did not release another solo effort for 20 years, when Save Your Breath appeared. Above and Beyond followed in 1999, featuring contributions from Lee Oskar on harmonica and Brian Auger on keyboards. McDonald devoted more than two decades to recording and performing in collaboration with Long John Baldry, and the duo scored with their version of "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" when it was released in Canada. The song reached number 2 in Australia and also made the US charts.
Aside from collaborative efforts Kathi has solo projects of her own: Insane Asylum(1974), David Briggs, producer of the second Alice Cooper album Easy Action and multiple early Neil Young discs is at the helm on Insane Asylum. With arrangements by The Jefferson Starship's Pete Sears, whose formal band associations include Hot Tuna this is a showcase for the chops and musicianship of McDonald. There's a terrific reading of the Bee Gees' "To Love Somebody" and an interesting first track co-written by McDonald and Pete Sears, "Bogart to Bowie," with Nils Lofgren on guitar and Bobbye Hall on percussion. The photos of McDonald on the back cover are chaotic and beautiful, a cartoon caricature of these adorns the cover, the illustration by Seiko Kashihara. With Ronnie Montrose on guitar and Pete Sears on keys for a heavy version of "(Love Is Like A) Heatwave," you basically have Big Brother & the Holding Company/ Montrose/Jefferson Starship covering Martha & the Vandellas. With what may be the best performance on the disc, "Threw Away My Love," the second Sears/McDonald original, Kathi's great, bluesy vocal fights and Journey's Neil Schon on guitar give the track tons of soul! "Freak Lover" features the late Starship violinist Papa John Creach and is appropriately manic for an album about insanity.
Willie Dixon's composition, "Insane Asylum," with Pete Sears and Nils Lofgren, is a blues workout deluxe. Neil Schon and Pete Sears accompany Kathi on a Peter Frampton tune, "All I Want to Be." Lofgren and Sears do a heavy cover of Neil Young's "Down to the Wire" for the singer to display her wonderful voice. There is an abundance of talent here, creating a nice platform for this important singer. Insane Asylum also featured performances by Tower of Power, the Pointer Sisters, Aynsley Dunbar, John Cippolina.
Her next solo project was Save Your Breath (1994), then Above And Beyond (1999) featuring contributions from Lee Oskar on harmonica and Brian Auger on keyboards. She reunited with Big Brother & the Holding Company in California for a concert on New Years Eve, 1997.
Her self-titled Kathi McDonald (2005) is a triumph in a long and prestigious career. This CD showcases the still incredible voice, timing, soulful delivery, and talent that is Kathi McDonald, the musician's choice as singer, the musician's musician, and still the biggest little white girl to ever sing the blues coming out of the West Coast. The main forces behind the CD, Pete Slauson and Ann Pierson (partners for years in the nineties at 2B1 Music, Maritime Hall, San Francisco, CA).
Michael Jackson is an American musician, entertainer, and businessman. One of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records—including one for Thriller as the world's best-selling album—13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career—more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era—and the sale of over 750 million units worldwide.
Jackson's highly publicized personal life, coupled with his successful career, has made him a part of popular culture for almost four decades. In recent years he has been cited as one of the world's most famous men.
6. STOP B.E.T. from airing Degrading shows towards Black women
The B.E.T. Cable Network continues to degrade the Image of black people, to be specific, African Americans. This network is not progressive and tarnishes the image of Black women.
They have UPCOMING SHOWS which we must put a stop to, we must use our voice and power to stop this sad network from painting false images of black women and promoting shows that perpetuate every stereotype so many are fighting. Shows such as FRANKIE and Nephie must not air.
We don't want the world and our people watching a bunch of ghetto, trashy looking black women who perpetuate stereotypes being shown on national television..it's embarrassing and not a reflection of many African American women but sadly this is what the world gets to see.
DEBRA LEE, who comes off as having class is setting African Americans back big time, she should be fired...... MEN AND WOMEN, BOYS AND GIRLS ,SIGN THIS to try to put a stop to this, don't let these shows air!
p.s. you should be ashamed for allowing Lil Wayne and Drake to go up on that stage and perform "I wish I could F*ck every girl in the world" with 12 year old girls on the stage, what is wrong with you?, it's wrong and the whole world saw it too.
7. Make taking photos without consent legal
Why ruin a good photo or a good video all because you have broken the law of taking someone else by accident without their permission? Here you can take good photos without going to stupid court case. I want photos to be legal even if u accidentally take a photo of someone without permission.
I don't get it. My story of this happening is when i was video recording myself for just for fun until some random people in the background freaked me out. Then for some random reason it accidentally turned to someone where i wasn't suppose to take capture of. Then a few weeks later i was caught by school because that person who I accidentally took a photo of dobbed me in. But luckily i went off with a warning and no records. I saw so many stories of this happening everywhere where people get fined, criminal records and even jail.
WTF most photographers do take pictures of something and a random person ruins it by telling them off. It not nice thing to ruin a photo or videos. This petition also go to government buildings. What the point of having the consent laws for this when ur goin to keep the photo for personal use.
8. Take away YouTube's copyright infringment policy!
YouTube's copyright infringement makes them take away all the anime videos, and this is a petition to stop them.
Many of you know that in the late '70s and early '80s there was the Magnetic Video label.
I want it back.
10. MTV Japan
MTV is launching three new channels for asian americans MTV K, MTV Chi, adn MTV Desi, but they however left us jpop fans out because unfortunately they didn't bother to create an MTV J for us and we don't understand why this is.
The purpose of this petition is to make our voices heard and demand they create an MTV J for us.

We, Madonna's loyal fans, would like to show our support for a DVD release of Madonna's COMPLETE VIDEOS COLLECTION.
We feel that Madonna is one of the most successfull and Pionner in Videos Hisroty and this DVD-release is a critical piece of Madonna and Music history.
As many other artists had already done so successfully (see Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, Janet Jackson...)we strongly feel it would be in the best interest of everybody involved and we sign here as proof or our support to this!
12. Using Canadian Teaching Content for Education Students
The Bachelor of Education students at Nipissing University feel that American videos teaching us how to be teachers should not be used as examples.
The Ministry of Education should provide Canadian Content that should be used accross the various Faculty of Educations in Ontario.
13. Restore MTV-X!!
Another outlet for Rap was reintroduced by MTV called MTV-J or MTV Jams. This channel is dedicated to Rap, Hip-Hop & R&B, which is played 24/7. MTV owns VH1; under that umbrella is a plethora of channels that already cater to the Rap/Hip-Hop genre: VH1 Soul, BET, MTV-H, & MTV2. This genre has taken over the airwaves, which reigns on the aforementioned channels while Rock/Metal videos take a back seat.
By us not having a voice, we have very limited choices/outlets for us to see the kind of music videos we love. Currently, Rock/Metal fan only have 4 outlets, all of which split time with other genres: 1). MTV/M2, usually after midnight; 2). Headbangers Ball, aired for 2 hours on Saturdays; 3). VH1 Classic (Metal hour); 4). Fuse. In other words the voice of the Rock/Metal fan is not being heard by the powers that be, the MTV/Viacom Execs.
I, for one, would love to see MTV-X back on the throne. Deciding action was needed, not sit back, and take it...again, I called MTV and spoke to someone in Programming. They said a poll was distributed to get a feel for the popularity of X & whether or not to discontinue the channel. DO ANY OF YOU REMEMBER THIS? I sure don't! If the poll were in plain site a fight would have ensued to keep the doors of "X " open. The poll was undoubtedly in the shadows like the channel itself. "X" was not highly advertised like other MTV venues nor was it available to the masses. One needed to be a subscriber to a specific cable provider in order to view the channel.
Recap: we, the Rock/Metal fan, do not have an outlet available to us that shows videos or related programming 24/7 like other genres. We got Headbangers Ball back, why not go that extra mile to get OUR channel back, MTV-X? By rallying together as ONE unified voice & by signing the petition, we will stand together as one. With enough signatures, this denotes interest, which the Execs at MTV said we were lacking. I WANT MY MTV-X!!! Let's get "X" back on the air AND available to the masses! Sign the petition!

15. Stop MTV from infuencing our society with violence
MTV has influenced our youth with violence, drugs, alchohol, and other forms of explicit content. I have noticed children and teens are growing more and more cruel, out of reality, and stereotypical and I belive that MTV should consider this open mindedly before showing some of the videos and shows that they do.
A couple of months ago Total Request Live was taken of MTV:UK. Please sign this petition to attempt to get it shown again. Unless of course you enjoy top 10 lists.
Aaliyah deserves many memorials, including one such as a DVD of her videos, so her fans can remember her forever.
18. Realistic Graphics for Zelda
This is a petition against the new "cartoon-like" graphics in the Legend of Zelda game coming out for Gamecube. At first, the graphics were supposed to be very realistic, like in the preview of Link and Ganondorf fighting. Now, they are very much like a cartoon, and not realistic at all. Many gamers were very excited about the amazing graphics, with the Gamecube's power, and now, almost all that power and excitement is going to waste.

19. Dawson's Creek on DVD and VHS
Why don't you hear us???? If the Xfiles, Sex and the City, and many others have videos, Why not Dawson's Creek? Why doesn't WB hear us??? Why after 5 years do they continue without hearing us.
All DC fans are now impatient. There are many petitions but it seems like WB, Columbia and others, don't care. C'mon guys it's time that you start worrying about what the people want!!!
