2. Arrest Our Elected Members of Congress for illegally not passing a budget 
It is written in the US Constitution that Congress must pass a budget. No budget has been passed in over 4 years.
Clearly Illegal.
Congressional pay rates were increased on December 28th, 2012, when President Barack Obama signed an executive order removing the freeze on federal pay.
Members of the US House of Representatives, members of the United States Senate, Vice President Joe Biden, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Senate Majority Leader, and countless others will receive pay increases in March of 2013. Pay increases on Federal workers will rise between 0.5% and 1.0%. This will raise Congressional salaries to $172,900.00 per year.
This year the United States Congress and the Executive Branch failed to reach a significant deficit reduction package on the current debt of more than $16 trillion dollars. Unemployment remains high, the US economy has had less growth than expected, and a downgrade of the United States credit rating are due specifically to a failure to make significant steps toward debt reduction. Further, the United States Congress has been the least productive since the 1940s, and currently has a rating of less than 20%.
At a time of peril for the United States, congressional pay should not be raised. Congressional pay should be reduced to the pay level it was in 2006, at the beginning of the recession. This would make congressional pay $165,200.00. (This amount is still more than three times what the average US citizen earns yearly.)
With all of the talk about puppy mills and the mistreatment of dogs it is often overlooked that other animals are being abused. Not only by people in their homes but right from when they are born.
Our focus is on the bird mills in the US.

5. Support Congressional Term Limits 
Congressmen have abused the fact that they can focus more on the topic of personal campaigning, in turn neglecting their legislative duties.
The following signatures represent citizens who are demanding the installation of congressional term limits in or bellow the amount of 5 (five) terms for the house of representatives, and 3 (three) or fewer terms for the senate.
6. End 200 years of war in America 
The United States has been a country for 235 years and 209 of these years the country has spent at war. Sign this petition to call for an end to war.
War helps the US procure resources and create jobs but can destroy local economies and force other countries to adopt an American lifestyle which requires countries to support large scale industrial farming and production for export at the expense of small land owners and producers and social services. This leads to famine and debt enslavement.
Nearly 2,800 innocent men, women and children died September 11, 2001. Many fire fighters and policemen serving their country sacrificed their own lives to save others. Since then, war has erupted and even more death befell upon our country.
The horrendous act of terrorism has changed the United States forever and on its anniversary our district should take a day off to celebrate the lives of those who had lost them.
8. Change US gun laws so that they protect the people 
United States firearm laws need to be changed as they no longer protect the people. There are over 40,000 firearm related incidences every year in the US, 23% of which are intentional homocides.
Going on a per 100,000 inhabitants:
America has 3.0 intentional homocides ever year; compared to
UK (0.073)
Germany (0.2)
Australia (0.1)
How many more innocent people need to be killed before the US government realises something needs to change?
Yes, I'm aware the guns don't kill people, people kill people but guns make it easier for people to kill people which is what they are doing.
If people who actually needed firearms had them and were licensed to have them then America would be a whole lot safer then it currently is.
But No, ANYONE can go and buy a gun "for their own protection"....protection from what? other people with guns? Can you see where i'm going? Not everyone needs a gun which would mean not everyone would need a gun to protect themselves.
The Law as it stands is now working against itself and doing the complete opposite of what it was designed to do.
Every 1 in 1.5 Americans possess a firearm, surely not everyone of those people is in the right frame of mind to hold such weapons.
Less guns = less massacres, less homocides, safer America.

PROTECTION OF HOLY PLACES LAW, 1967:
(1) The Holy Places shall be protected from desecration and any other violation and from anything likely to violate the freedom of access of the members of the different religions to the places sacred to them or their feelings with regard to those places.
(2) a. Whosoever desecrates or otherwise violates a Holy Place shall be liable to imprisonment for a term of seven years.
b. Whosoever does anything likely to violate the freedom of access of the members of the different religions to the places sacred to them or their feelings with regard to those places shall be liable to imprisonment for a term of five years.
10. Autumn: back to the U.S. from Japan 
Autumn Lynn Teixeira went on a vacation with her parents to Japan a few weeks ago. They told her that they would come back in a month. Shortly after they told her that they are staying in Japan.
Autumn and I are about to start High School and wouldn't want to miss it for the world. She was depressed when she found out she was staying in Japan.
I'm trying to persuade her parents into letting Autumn come back. She doesn't want to be in Japan.
11. Oppose US Backed UNHRC Resolution on Sri Lanka 
The United States draft resolution (A/HRC/19/L.2) on Sri Lanka was tabled at the 19th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on 8 March 2012.
This resolution, is being brought up to address the alleged "war crimes" supposed to have occurred during the humanitarian mission to save innocent civilians from the terror of the inhumane terrorist organization calling itself the "Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE)".
The resolution;
1. Calls upon the Government of Sri Lanka to implement the constructive Recommendations made in the report of the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission and to take all necessary additional steps to fulfil its relevant legal obligations and commitment to initiate credible and independent actions to ensure justice, equity, accountability and reconciliation for all Sri Lankans;
2. Requests the Government of Sri Lanka to present, as expeditiously as possible, a comprehensive action plan detailing the steps that the Government has taken and will take to implement the recommendations made in the Commission’s report, and also to address alleged violations of international law;
3. Encourages the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and relevant special procedures mandate holders to provide, and the Government of Sri Lanka to accept, advice and technical assistance on implementing the above-mentioned steps, and requests the Office of the High Commissioner to present a report on the provision of such assistance to the Human Rights Council at its twenty-second session.
The passing of this resolution will have the effect of;
1) Breaching Article 2(7) of the Charter of the United Nations which states "Nothing contained in the present Charter shall authorize the United Nations to intervene in matters which are essentially within the domestic jurisdiction of any state"
2)Completely jeopardizing the core concepts of International Law and breaching Article 2(1) of the Charter of the United Nations, which ensure the sovereign equality of all its Members, since no such resolution has been brought up against the US (sponsor of the current resolution) for allegations of Human Rights Violations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
3) Violating the sovereignty and integrity of Sri Lanka.
4) Hindering the effort of the Sri Lankan government in its reconciliation efforts to ensure equality among all races and the post war development process.
5) Taxing the resources of the United Nations since the government of Sri Lanka has already made substantial progress in implementing the recommendations of the LLRC report which makes it unnecessary for a process as recommended.

A brain scan reported Sep 15 2011 to show brain injury in PGI Vets. A SKY blood test shows chromosome damage in PGI Vets. Yet the CDC which VA follows, has now limited how many symptoms PGI Vets are actually related to PG Illness.

13. Put Andrew J. DiNicola on the national ballot

14. Mandatory Death Penalty on any severe violent crime 
I believe that to more effectively prevent violent crimes in the United States there should be a mandatory death penalty on any severe violent crime, such as murder, rape, child molestation, attempted murder and armed robbery.
I believe that this would not only solve our overcrowded jails, but also severely deter violent crime.

16. Petition to Cease Funding Pakistan's "Counterterrorism" Effort 
The United States has continued to funnel billions of dollars to the Pakistani armed forces in sophisticated weapons and cash – most recently a $3.4 billion package announced in October 2010 under the State Department’s Foreign Military Finance Program, and another $3 billion is scheduled to go to Pakistan this year.
Bin Laden's discovery in a wealthy suburb of Abbottabad raises more than a few questions over US military funding to Pakistan.
After years of former Pakistani military dictator General Musharraf assuring the world that bin Laden was either dead or in Afghanistan, he was found and dispatched by US special forces in the town of Abbottabad, a mere 30 miles – 50km – as the crow flies from the capital Islamabad.
By 2008, the United States political and military leadership had lost all remnants of faith in the trustworthiness of the Pakistani military and its intelligence wing, the ISI, internally acknowledging that it consistently "hunted with the hounds and ran with the hares", including the Afghan Taliban, the Haqqanis, and the Lashkar-e-Taiba – and was involved in planning terrorist attacks from Kabul to Mumbai.
17. Use domestic resources; Drill our own US Oil 
Currently gas prices are on a rising continuum. During this economical hardship, consumers are struggling to pay for the gas that gets them to their job. A lot of those same consumers are living paycheck to paycheck and barely able to pay their basic living expenses.
With the extreme rise in gas prices, living expenses that are already a struggle to maintain, are becoming almost impossible. The United States has enough of our own resources for oil that if we were to start drilling, would last our country CENTURIES! The use of our own resources would help the economy and help the people in OUR country.
Our president just loaned Brazil 2 Billion dollars for an underwater drilling project in their country. That 2 Billion could have been reserved by using our resources; this is why our government spending is so insanely high- we are paying millions of dollars to foreign countries when we could save millions by using our own products; in turn the consumers will save!
18. Bring back a 21st Century U.S. Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) 
The 21Century - United States Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC)
HR 494 the 21st Century Conservation Corps Act sponsored by Marcy Kaptur(OH-9) will be a large scale public sector government investment in Human Capital by the U.S. Government that would authorize the President to re-establish the Civilian Conservation Corps as a means of providing gainful employment to unemployed and underemployed citizens of the United States through the performance of useful public work, and for other purposes.
Democracy for Egypt.
20. Raise Federal Minimum Wage in the United States 
In the United States, the average minimum wage (remember, there are different minimum wages for every state) is $7.45 per hour. That means that an average worker earning minimum wage would earn $15,496 per year.
In my opinion, that is a tiny amount for their use because they would have to spend alot on regular expenses like food and bills. Minimum wages need to be raised and you can help raise them now by signing this petition.
The Afghan War has been going on since October 7, 2001, and has been going on nonstop since. According to Wikipedia, 1370 U.S. soldiers have died in the Afghan War and 14000-34000 Afghan civilians have died.
Please help stop this terrible war.
22. Investigate USA-Pakistan Relations 
For ten years now there have been acts of war being waged on the citizens of Pakistan and Afghanistan. These acts are being carried out by the their own military and also the military of the United States. Their own government along with the United States and other UN allies are agreeing to continue military operations. Operations which are violating the liberties of those native people living in what has been deemed a war zone.
Now it's time they rethink their strategies. Human rights, liberty and justice need to be upheld. The conditions are becoming exceedingly desperate for these people. The area is destabilizing more and more the longer we wait. This will continue to put the youth at further risk and those who are vulnerable will become exploited or radicalized. Even though both governments claim they are doing what they can to combat this, little has been seen in the way of progress.
23. I Support Marriage Equality

24. Give women the same military career options as men 
In the military, there are certain career choices that are limited to only men. For example, pararescue, special forces communication sergeant, special forces engineer sergeant, etc. What ever happened to womens rights?
25. Expedite the process for Detention Enforcement Officer's promotion 
As Detention Enforcement Officers, our performance, experience, work knowledge professionalism and loyalty are beyond the scope of what we were hired to do. The numerous duties we carry are beyond our pay grade.
Some of these duties include the assistance we offer to many agencies on the federal, state and local levels as well as the court family and its many agencies. We also assist our very own district administrative staff and deputies. Throughout the years we have taken charge of our section, Custody and Transportation.

27. Help Bring the children from Haiti 
Manneau and Evena Jean-Charles have began the adoption process of Stevinson, Millard and Sabine Jean-CHarles in 2007 from there homeland of Haiti.
The adoption process has been completed from the Haitain side, since the Haitian earthquake, and now under the policy involving Humanitarian Parole for Haitian Orphans signed by Secretary Janet Napolitano on January 18th 2010, we have requested our children to come to the United States, and made request via Homeland Security and the USCIS and Haitian Adoptions. All paperwork is in order.
To date the children, one of which is injured with two broken legs, and all three homeless, living in the streets of Haiti, have yet to be delivered into our care and custody.
