I am starting this petition to try to keep the TV show The River on the air. News reports are saying because of the shows low viewers that it may be cancelled and not continued on to a second season.
I believe that this is an amazing television show and that the reason for the low amount of viewers is because most people DVR'd the episodes due to work or multiple other reasons.
I am positive that most viewers would love to see this show continued, due to the cliff hanger that was left at the end of the first season.
2. FX, Bring Back Damages for Season 4! 
Damages is an Emmy and Golden Globe-winning cable TV show, widely critically acclaimed, and is a legal drama and thriller with a difference. It is funded through FX, the American cable network.
According to Nielsen ratings, Damages was the third highest digital video recorded (DVR) show in 2009 (1). However like many of the best shows, sometimes the Nielsen first-run ratings aren't too high (2). There is some concern that season three of Damages will be its untimely last.
This show needs better advertising, and before a decision to cancel or to renew is taken - there needs to be some serious consideration of DVD sales, and a focus on the DVR ratings as well as the first-run ratings.

3. Bring Back Unsolved Mysteries
Unsolved Mysteries television show needs to return with new episodes so that it can help the families of missing persons.
4. Bring Back The Show POPULAR
The show Popular was a show that was cancelled due to low ratings. Loyal fans were obviously unhappy. The show only ran on for 2 seasons [43 episodes] and 1 year [1999-2000]. It ended in a cliffhanger which the writer promised would be solved during the next season, and unfortunately there wasn't a next season.
The fans of the show protested, claiming that the writer promised a third season, which he indirectly did. Despite the unhappy fans, and there cries to the media, the show did not continue to air.
ABC Family has taken a hit television show , S Club 7, off their schedule, and refuses to put it back on. Disney channel does not allow ideas to be accepted from their viewers, so now Nickelodeon is one of our last resorts. Many viewers across many countries are very disappointed about not being able to watch their favourite television show anymore, so we've decided to stand against it. This petition is available to veiwers everywhere.
