1. BZgA ABUSE 
BERLIN, July 30, 2007 Booklets from a subsidiary of the German government’s Ministry for Family Affairs encourage parents to sexually massage their children as young as 1 to 3 years of age.
Two 40-page booklets entitled "Love, Body and Playing Doctor" by the German Federal Health Education Center (Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung - BZgA) are aimed at parents - the first addressing children from 1-3 and the other children from 4-6 years of age.
"Fathers do not devote enough attention to the clitoris and vagina of their daughters. Their caresses too seldom pertain to these regions, while this is the only way the girls can develop a sense of pride in their sex," reads the booklet regarding 1-3 year olds. The authors rationalize, "The child touches all parts of their father’s body, sometimes arousing him. The father should do the same."
2. Protect the Alexander Archipelago Wolf
Wolves in Alaska have been under attack since the 1940s. A federal poisoning and aerial shooting campaign began following World War II. By the mid-1950s the government had greatly reduced wolf numbers in much of south central and interior Alaska. While poisoning was banned after statehood in 1959, aerial shooting and bounty payments continued through the 1960s.
After the passage of the Federal Airborne Hunting Act in 1972 and the termination of the bounty, wolf numbers increased. By the mid-1970s hunters demanded state-sponsored wolf control and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game responded with helicopter shooting programs. Considerable public opposition stopped these state-sponsored programs, but land-and-shoot hunting of wolves by private hunters continued through the 1980s into the early 1990s.
The current population of Alexander Archipelago wolves is thought to be between 750 and 1,100.
3. South Koreans, Save the Whales!
By the 1970s, commercial whaling had caused 8 out of the 10 great whale species to be commercially extinct. The International Whaling Commission's (IWC's) ban on commercial whaling went into effect in 1986. Since then, pro-whaling countries have been trying to lift the ban and continue to kill whales by using exceptions to the ban.
Most species of whales are still endangered and there is no humane way to kill a whale. Whales suffer horrible and often prolonged deaths due to brutal and unreliable killing methods used by whalers. They also suffer from being caught in fishing nets of commercial fisheries targeting other species. Instead of making an effort to safely release them, they are brought onboard to die and to be sold for human consumption.
The annual IWC meeting will be held in Ulsan, South Korea in 2005. South Korea has voted against protecting whales.
