Petition Tag - nursing staff life health care

This is a petition from all the nursing staff, for a proper increase in Salary, and better working conditions and more support from the Life Health Care management!

Despite being faced with stressful and demanding working conditions, many nurses are passionate and committed to their profession, and to delivering of quality patient care.

The management of life health care ensures to the public that we deliver uncompromised quality nursing, pharmaceutical and patient services in a safe and trusted environment, however nurses are assigned to areas where they either do not have the necessary competency or experience, or the work load is too large for the nursing staff to be able to provide safe nursing care!

Our hospitals are understaffed and the remaining handful of nurses is forced to treat the numbers not the patients, ultimately nursing care is compromised. Nurses are also signing up for far too much overtime, either because there is nobody else to do the work or to supplement their low income.

This leads to nurses who are constantly fatigued and have no time to rest and subsequently do not perform at full capacity, the inevitable result is a decline in the quality of patient care.
