1. Produce a new Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L lens 
The Canon EF-lens lineup is well known for it's high quality lenses. There are however a few lenses that the consumers miss. Today there is only the 50mm f/1.8 and 50mm f/1.4 (mirco-USM) primes in the making and neither of these leaves us fully satisfied, specially in the new E-TTL 2 era.
We want a NEW 50MM lens, with for example f/1.2 in the "L" series of lenses.
- f/1.2 aparture
- "real" USM motor (not micro!)
- L-series build quality
- weather sealing?
- correct E-TTL 2 data handling (where the lens can send distance info to the camera)
