1. Bringing Back NBC's Las Vegas

Las Vegas was canceled in 2008 due to the writers' strike. Season 5 ended with a cliff hanger that has left fans wondering what has happened.

The show ended with about 8 million viewers (which is what some shows start with now).

2. Save NBC Prime Suspect

NBC is cancelling Prime Suspect a new series that aires on Thursday evenings. Maria Bello stars as Jane Timoney, along with Aiden Quinn as the Lieutenant.

This show is about a gritty, smart lady over the age of 40 that is a New York cop. She's a tough no-nonsense woman with a soft heart underneath it all. They just began to flesh out her character with a back story of a mother that died too young of alcoholism, and a sister too young to remember.

If you are a fan of this show, or even someone who believes we should keep shows on the air that portray women over 40, please sign the petition.

3. NBC Renewing Law & Order: Criminal Intent

USA Network renewed LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT a tenth (and final season) in September 2010.

USA and Dick Wolf brought back original stars Vincent D'Onofrio (Detective Robert Goren) and Kathryn Erbe (Detective Alex Eames) joined with Jay O. Sanders as Captain Joseph Hannah and Julia Ormond as Psycologist Doctor Paula Gyson. Leslie Hendrix recurring as Medical Examiner, Dr. Elizabeth Rodgers.

A new executive producer/show runner was also brought to LAW & ORDER: CI, Chris Brancato.

The 10th season episodes were very well written (credited writers: Chris Brancato, Julie Martin, Warren Leight, Marlane Gomard Meyer, & Rick Eid), the acting was top-notch by the returning cast (as expected) and the new cast members, and it was really an enjoyable season to watch on USA Network (final episode airing June 26, 2011)!

USA Network doesn't want to renew L&O: CI due to it's high budget, despite the fact it pulled higher numbers than the ninth season and the 18-49 demo rose.

Fans don't want LOCI to end so quickly; especially since the "series finale" left off where Goren and Eames are still partners and are still working.

4. Renew "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: LA" on TNT

In May 2010; NBC canceled the original "Law & Order" which lasted on televison for 20 years (premiereing in 1990); almost breaking the record as longest running primetime TV drama. NBC moved the series to it's weakest night in primetime [Monday 10/9c] which resulted in a ratings decline (and lack of trying to make deals with creator Dick Wolf to keep renewing it) and caused NBC to cancel it.

In May 2011; NBC canceled it's direct spin-off "Law & Order: LA" after NBC yanked it off the air for over 4 months (to retool which helped it) and moved it to it's weakest night in primetime [Monday 10/9c] which resulted in a ratings decline and caused NBC to cancel it.

What more do I need to say? Other than NBC is Nothing But Crooks. First Jeff Zucker axes the original series, then Robert Greenblatt kills the direct spin-off.

5. Move 'Law & Order: SVU' to Tuesday 10/9c and 'Law & Order: LA' to Wednesday

In September 2009 'Law & Order: SVU' moved to Wednesdays 10/9c and often back an hour to 9/8c > the viewerships ranges from 7.1 - 9.1 million, whearas it used to range from 9.1 - 10/11 million. People can't catch SVU every Wendesday night.

In September 2010 'Law & Order: Los Angeles' started out at Wednesday 10/9c before the show got revamped in a good way and moved to NBC Monday nights at 10/9c - a night on NBC no one watches. > the viewership ranged from 7.1-9.0 million now it's down to 5/6 million.

But both shows are of good quality and highly praised by fans and critics.

6. Hire Robert Palm as ''Law and Order: SVU'' Showrunner/Executive Producer and Renew ''Law and Order: SVU'' for a 13th Season

http://www.tvguide.com/News/Baer-Leaving-SVU-1026073.aspx

Current "Law & Order: SVU" showrunner/executive producer Neal Baer has announced that he's departing SVU (and NBC) to pursue a career with CBS Studios; at the end of the 12th season of "Law & Order: SVU". Baer has been executive producer since season 2 of SVU.

Which means "Law & Order: SVU" is going to be looking for a showrunner. Why not call Robert Palm back, the FIRST SVU executive producer (season 1). The first season of SVU was one of many execellent seasons of the show.

And we expect NBC to continue "SVU" beyond season 12; despite Baer's departure. We don't want it rushed to cancellation like the original "Law & Order".

7. Law & Order: Criminal Intent/Law & Order: Los Angeles two-hour crossover

"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" will return for it's final season in early 2011. The show hasn't done a crossover type episode since the first season.

For the final season (since Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe have returned for their previous roles as Det. Goren and Eames) a two-hour crossover episode between "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and newest welcomed "Law & Order"; "Law & Order: Los Angeles" needs to come into effect!

Plus it'd be a nice opportunity for the fans and actors Vincent D'Onofrio and Skeet Ulrich ("The Newton Boys") to be together on screen again.

8. Tell Syfy to stop allowing WWE to take over its programming

Since NBC took over Syfy Network, there has been a marked decline in the number of program offerings that actually fall under the genre of Science Fiction & Fantasy for which Syfy is known. The WWE now takes two of the primetime slots, one of which used to be known for its excellent Syfy Original Series.

Let Syfy know that you want them to remain a Science Fiction & Fantasy Network. Otherwise, Syfy will become nothing more than NBC's vehicle for commercialized, unoriginal, & mind-numbing television.

9. HIRE Ed Zuckerman and Michael S. Chernuchin to "Law and Order: Los Angeles" as Showrunners

FIRE Christopher Misiano and Blake Masters; HIRE Ed Zuckerman and Michael S. Chernuchin to "Law and Order: Los Angeles" as Executive Producers/Showrunners.

Recently Dick Wolf and NBC created a new drama, "Law & Order: Los Angeles" to keep the "Law & Order" fandom going on NBC due to the recent cancelation of the original "Law & Order" on NBC in May 2010 (after being on the air on NBC for 20 record-tying/breaking seasons).

The new LA "Law & Order" has really poor writing quality which is affecting the acting of the cast members on the ‘new’ series. And the show is being treated as a 'sunny beach Law & Order' and not a gritty crime/police/legal-drama as the original series was. Fans don't figuratively want sunshine - even if it is shining; they want gory crimes, grit, and courtroom drama! NOT “ripped from TMZ” celebrity scandals, surfers, and ice cream!

They want: “RIPPED FROM THE HEADLINES” STRAIGHT UP MURDER, PERIOD-POINT-BLANK; NO SPECIAL STATUS!

The showrunners are: Rene Balcer, Peter Jankowski, Blake Masters, Christopher Misiano, and Dick Wolf. Jankowski and Balcer come from the original series along with the creator Wolf;

But who are Blake Masters and Christopher Misiano? - I can tell you what they are doing, making the 'new' Law & Order CRAPPY. They have these 'messed up' storylines that make no sense and are NOT what "Law & Order" is about - and the fans disagree with them.

The fans of "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: Los Angeles" want a change or they want OUT!

We want "Law & Order" in "Law & Order: Los Angeles" NOT 5% Law, 5% Order, 90% Los Angeles are everything in the media and on television about it.

We want "Law & Order: Los Angeles" to be what "Law & Order" is! Not these 'new L.A. stories'!

Bring the New York "Law & Order" workers to Los Angeles!

11. Keep Dick Wolf's Law and Order

Heard a horrible rumor, I heard that NBC wants to get rid of, in my mind, the best drama on TV, Dick Wolf's production Law and Order.

For twenty years this show made me who I am; it is the reason why I attended the schools I did, and work in the legal/law enforcement fields. They need to keep the only drama that shows how a court room really is. The other two shows Law and Order SVU, and Law and Order Criminal Intent should go before they do away with the orginal! This is the only show I watch on NBC.

If NBC does away with this drama there will be no need for me to watch their network.

12. Jesse L. Martin to Law and Order: Criminal Intent

We all know that Vincent D'Onofrio (Det. Robert Goren), Kathryn Erbe (Det. Alex Eames), and Eric Bogosian (Capt. Danny Ross) were all booted from the cast of the NBC-USA Network drama, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" right?

If we can't have them back, can a previous original "Law & Order" star come to the cast? - Jesse L. Martin (Det. Ed Green)?

If you liked Ed Green on "Law & Order" would you like to see him come to "Law & Order: Criminal Intent"? - I would.

On the basis that Jeff Goldblum doesn't need an entire series to himself after D'Onofrio/Chris Noth/Goldblum all alternated with each other. That was a great trend and I'd like to see that continue.

13. Cancel Law and Order: Criminal Intent

(Vincent D'Onofrio) Kathryn Erbe, and Eric Bogosian were laid off of the series in September 2009 and exited the series in a half-poorly written episode for them (Walon Green, Barbara Hall).

The show is now "The Jeff Goldblum Hour", which is fine for Goldblum fans but what about the rest of us?

Jeff Goldblum DOES NOT need to be in EVERY episode of the series only 8 out of 16 episodes per season (or 12 if 22 episodes in a season). He basically is ruining what D'Onofrio and Chris Noth had going.

The fans of D'Onofrio, Erbe, and Bogosian are disappointed about the changes to the series: If D'Onofrio and Erbe are not returning to the series, we want it canceled.

(No offense to Jeff Goldblum, I'm not assigning him blame for this: but he's in the middle of it with the USA Network execs and the show's execs.)

14. Boycott NBC - Save Conan!

It's a fact. We all LOVE Conan O'Brien! Very few young people these days prefer Jay Leno over Conan.

This petition will be presented to NBC Universal. For the actions of this company and taking the Tonight Show away from Conan. I feel we should run them off the air.

15. Bring anime back to TV

Currently our anime programming consists of two hours on Mondays from 11 PM to 1 AM (all times Eastern) on Sci Fi, 4 AM Tuesdays on IFC and from 12:30 to 6 AM Saturdays on CN's Adult Swim. Where is the rest we were promised years ago?

Sure we have AniMondays but whtever became of Encore Action's (Starz) AniMidnight anime shows and films? Gone. We used to have anime all night Saturdays and Sundays. Gone. I remember a promise of weekday anime shows from Turner who runs CN. They promised us a return to the old Rurouni Kenshin and InuYasha and Sailor Moon of bygone years but nothing was ever done about it! Anime is so popular now that it would behoove giants like ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, etc. to include anime in its lineup. Sponsors would flock to these mogul networks to post ads.

Anime is becoming more and more difficult to find on home videos. Indeed most must be purchased online mainly from Japan. We miss our anime so please help Naruto (see pix) and all his anime friends to come back to us. They have been away far too long! Thank you so much my friends. The Keiman is grateful for your support.

16. Petition the IOC to deny NBC future broadcasting rights because of delayed broadcasting of track and field events.

This petition is in response to NBC’s selective broadcasting of Olympic events and results. It is impossible to have live broadcast of every event, but the track and field 100 and 200 meters were broadcast live in practically every country in the world except the United States of America.

The IOC should find it unacceptable that NBC would choose not to broadcast or give the results of track and field events on any of its TV channels, until 12 to 18 hours after the event. This is even more deplorable since the Olympics were conceived around track and field events.

17. New Home 4 Dresden!

The Dresden Files TV series (TDF) is based on the best-selling book series written by Jim Butcher.

The series began on the Sci-Fi Channel on January 21, 2007 with the episode Birds of a Feather and ran for a total of 12 episodes, ending with Second City on April 15. Despite a very short season & NO advertising or promotion by Sci-Fi Channel, the show did amazingly well - earning viewer ratings equal to, & some even better than, the Sci-Fi Channel's highly publicized ‘flagship’ show Battlestar Galactica.

To ensure that the Sci-Fi Channel & its owners NBC/Universal understood how important the show was to fans of the scifi genre’, Dresden Files fans began writing letters to them and praising the show.

On July 4, 2007, a statement was released in an Edmonton, Canada newspaper that Lionsgate – who produces TDF – were moving one of their series to Edmonton for production. One of the series listed that could possibly move was the Dresden Files! This statement gave hope to the fans, who persisted in the letter-writing campaign & began contacting the media.

On July 14, an e-mail was received by several fans from Patrick Lee, editor of Sci Fi Wire – the news & info site on SciFi.com – stating that an announcement was expected ‘this week’. The week came & went with absolutely NO response from either the Sci-Fi Channel or its parent company NBC/Universal.

On August 3, 2007, a statement was posted on Sci Fi Wire concerning Paul Blackthorne – lead actor of the Dresden Files – having accepted a recurring role on the new show Big Shots. The last sentence again stated that the status of the series had not been decided. Later that same day, the last sentence was altered to say that the Dresden Files would not be back for Season 2.

We fans believe that not only is the Dresden Files the BEST TV series that has been released in 2007, it is also the most intelligent, witty, suspenseful, engaging, and endearing show that has been released on ANY channel or network in YEARS!

For this reason, we are petitioning Lionsgate as producers of the show, and any and ALL television channels to pick up the Dresden Files - cast & crew – for Season 2!!
