1. Stop development plans in Victoria's National Parks
Stop the unacceptable plan to pave the way for new accommodation, restaurants and activities in National Parks that were formerly off limits, parks created by our forefathers for all generations to enjoy, cherish, respect and protect.
Parks such as Pt Nepean, Port Campbell, Wilsons Promontory and The Grampians need protection.
Ryan Smith, the Environmental Minister quietly released new guidelines on Easter Sunday and now wants to sign off and compromise our National and Coastal Parks.
This petition will grant OTAKU CITIZENS the right to MARRIAGE with a 2D CHARACTER (from anime, manga, video games, etc.). The Otaku community must unite to bring about change to this great country, and make it even greater. Our plight is akin to that of gays; a forbidden yet deeply tantalizing relationship with a taboo race...
A fellow Otaku in Japan tried to create a petition over there for the same reasons, yet did not get enough signatures. I aim not only to get enough signatures to make 2D marriage legal here in the U.S.A. but also GLOBALLY.
Join the cause for equality of 3D and 2D Otaku citizens!
3. Blue cards for Door to Door Sales, Taxi drivers and anyone dealing with the public
A new law needs to be put in place that all people dealing with the public especially when it comes to those who are approaching your home, should be required to undertake a criminal history check and also have a blue card.
Many people come to your home working for electricity companies and the like wanting your business, they can enter your premises and can be working around children. Especially considering that this is the children's home I believe that we need to enforce strict rules on who is able to come to our premises on a business level including door to door sales, taxi drivers, bus drivers and anyone else who can easily see that you have children.
I believe whole heartedly this needs to change before someone is hired that could be a risk to not only children but to anyone in their home. An international criminal history check needs to be made for those who do not normally reside in Australia also. All businesses requiring entrance to anyone's property should have a blue card and thorough criminal history check!
4. No Advertisements on NBA Uniforms!
The NBA is set to cash in on the opportunity to place advertisements on the jerseys of NBA players, what does this mean for the fans?
Will we accept that the NBA is at its core a medium to rake in profit? Shouldn't WE stand firm with the tradition and history the jerseys represent?
The current size proposed is 2.5 inch by 2.5 inch, but what restricts the NBA from allowing an even larger percentage of the jersey to be covered. Keep the jerseys clean and respectful!
5. Return Due Process to Mississippi
“Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal."
~The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr
With the NDAA's indefinite detainment without due process clause, (meaning legally, the Federal Government can arrest anyone for anything at any time secretly) It is time to recognize that Mississippians could lose their right to a fair trial.
With new bills being introduced to take away our first amendment rights, we should be worried about the consequences of disagreeing with any legal policies the government wants to implement.
If there is a suspected terrorist or protester, they should have the right to a fair trial by a jury of their peers to determine if their actions were illegal, and to determine the extent of punishment under law.

7. Change Australia's flag to green and gold
We should change the Australian flag to something green and gold... our national colours.
All our sporting teams wear green and gold... so should our national flag.
8. No School on National Holidays
For many years our country fought to bring freedom. We were assigned days of remembrance. These days are called National Holidays. National Holidays are legal holidays that are authorized by law and limiting work learning days and official business.
School is in the category of things that are limited. National Holidays are meant to be spent off from school and at home remembering the day and its significance.
9. Saving Owain Glyndŵr's 'Old Dolgellau Parliament House for the Nation
Plas Cwrt yn Dre, also known as Owain Glyndwr’s Old Parliament House was moved from Dolgellau to the Dolerw Park, Newtown in 1886.
The Quakers, who currently own it can no longer afford to maintain it and are selling it for £55,000. It is undoubtedly a national treasure and we think it should be purchased by the Welsh Government for the nation.
10. Campaign To Name The A470 Cymru 'Prif Ffordd Tywysog Owain Glyndŵr
Mae’r A470 yn ffordd gefnol sy’n rhedeg o Gaerdydd yn De Cymru i Landudno yn y Gogledd. Bu I Lysgenhadaeth Glyndŵr lansio ymgyrch yn y flwyddyn 2000 i enwi’r ffordd yn ‘Brif Ffordd Owain Glyndŵr fel coffâd teilwng i’n harwr cenedlaethol mwyaf ar achlysur 6oomlwyddiant cychwyniad ei Rhyfel Mawr am Annibyniaeth 1400 - 1421. Bu i’r Cynulliad Cymreig anwybyddu’r apêl yn y flwyddyn 2000 ond nawr, gan fod yna alw o gyfeiriad arall i ran o’r ffordd gael ei alw yn “Y Royal Welsh Way” fel cydnabyddiaeth o’r Catrawd Brenhinol sy’n talu llw o deyrngarwch i Frenhiniaeth a Threfn Loegr sy’n parhau i feddiannu Cymru, mae Llysgenhadaeth Glyndŵr wedi penderfynu ail gychwyn yr ymgyrch a lansiwyd gennym yn y flwyddyn 2000.
The A470 is a spine road that runs from Cardiff in South Wales to Llandudno in the North. Embassy Glyndŵr launched a campaign in the year 2000 to name it 'Prif Ffordd Owain Glyndŵr' in memory of the greatest of our national heroes Prince Owain Glyndŵr and his copatriots who fought a great War of Independence from the year 1400 - 1421. The National Assembly of Wales ignored our request then and now, in the light of a campaign being launched to name a part of the road 'The Royal Welsh Way in recognition of the Royal Welsh Regiment who swears allegiance to the English royalty and the English State who still occupies Cymru, Embassy Glyndŵr has decided to re-launch the campaign initiated in the year 2000.
11. STOP THE PLANNED CHANGES TO THE DISABILITY LIVING ALLOWANCE
The UK Government plans to making drastic changes to the Disability Living Allowance including taking away many of the current travel concessions thus leaving many disabled UK Citizen's housebound.
Whilst we at the National Liberal Party would understand a "means" test to assist in stopping benefit fraud, we oppose the changes being put forward by the UK Government and would ask you to support us on getting these changes stopped.

Following this support from all over Australia. The Australian people are saying no to a carbon tax.
We are asking the Gillard Goverment to go to an Election on this.
13. We Need a National Database to identify and rescue victims of child sexual abuse!
We Need a National Database. Delays in introducing a national paedophile database are hindering Britain's ability to identify and rescue victims.
Delays in introducing a national paedophile database are hindering Britain's ability to identify and rescue victims.
The UK's Child Exploitation Online Protection Centre (Ceop) says a central database of all images of abuse which appear on the web is necessary. However, it said it could be another 18 months before it is introduced.
In the UK different police forces currently have various systems and different databases. Some have their own victim identification units. Although millions of images of child sex abuse have been collected only 47 cases were passed on to Ceop by the UK's 52 police forces in 2010 - less than one per force. In the cases which were passed to them Ceop helped rescue 22 victims.
We need this database implementing now not 18 months. We don't need children to be subjected to another 18 months of abuse we need it to be available now.
14. A National Student Concession Card
The purpose of the petition is to raise support for a National Student Concession Card.
The reciprocal recognition of student concessions is a problem facing all students.
A National Student Concession Card is important because:
1. Students do not have universal access to concessions schemes (such as student public transport concessions) outside their home state;
2. A national concession scheme exists for those holding a senior or pensioner cards but currently nothing similar exists for primary, secondary and tertiary students;
3. The card would offer students another form of identity to use other than a state government issued ‘Proof of Age’ card. This is important as some student cards are very basic, vary in form and are not recognised as formal identification;
4. The card may be able to provide students with a range of third party benefits from students services, and potential recognition for Australian students travelling internationally.
15. Support Canadian National Child Care
We are calling on you to work together to honor the promise of a national child care program to all Canadian families and children. Canada’s children and families deserve the right to a National Child Care System. November 2009 marked the 20th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and Canada still scores LAST amongst industrialized nations in our provision of early childhood education and care and family support policies.
The place to start is by protecting the early learning and child care agreements between the Government of Canada and the provinces. While income support for families is a valid policy goal, a taxable family allowance and a tax credit for employers will not create early learning and child care services that are high quality, available and affordable.
Families need income supports and publicly funded child care services. By supporting families with affordable, high-quality options for early childhood learning and care will benefit child development and the social and economic well-being of communities. The variations of policy across Canadian provinces has only allowed Canadians to create a disjointed system and framework, which results in inequalities for our children and families across the nation. We call on all governments to protect and enhance progress on creating a framework to support a National Child Care System.
Children in Canada and their families need high-quality, accessible, inclusive and PUBLICLY FUNDED early education and care for their children. Canada has made many attempts at implementing a national publicly funded system, but have failed each time. We hope that this will be our last attempt because we WILL succeed in convincing our government to take responsibility for Canadian children, and to give our families a real choice in the care and education of their children.
It is time for Canadians to demand a system that values children and families, and makes early childhood education and care a fundamental part of our country. We need to ask our government to commit to building the child care system that Canadians want.
Please add your name to this petition and forward to everyone who you know. The children are our future.
We will be holding a rally in Toronto on March 8th, 2011, and encourage our neighboring cities, provinces and territories to follow our lead.

16. Make Gay Marriage Nationally Legal
This petition is here for you to sign to make gay marriage nationally legal. Please sign to insure we will no longer be second class citizens. All men are created equal.
17. Let's Honor our Heros: Make 9/11 Holiday
On September 11th 2001; America was under-attack, countless lives were lost, and many hero's, are now mentally challenged from the mental graphics of that day.
Not to mention families of these hero's and civilians that were killed and/or injured that day, all have to face 9/11 alone; they have done it by themselves long enough: It's time that we as people, spring into action, and show them: that we do care!
Let's make it a holiday! A national recognized holiday!
18. Don't change OUR national anthem
On March 3rd 2010 during The Throne Speech,it was said that there is a concern about the gender inequality of Canada’s National Anthem. Which leaves Parliament to assess if a more gender-neutral version should be considered.
19. Support the continuation of funding for chaplaincy
This petition of certain citizens of Australia draws to the attention of the House the National School Chaplaincy Program, built on the excellent history of school chaplaincy in Australia, which was introduced by the former Coalition Government in 2007/08 with a commitment of $165 million for its first three years. It was endorsed by Prime Minister Rudd who said “they (Chaplains) actually are providing the glue which keeps school communities rolling”.
The program offers pastoral care and spiritual guidance to all. Chaplains necessarily have religious beliefs which underpin their work. These beliefs are representative of the school communities the chaplains work in and they do not hinder chaplains from working with those of other beliefs or none. It operates in 1915 schools and enjoys strong support among principals, schools and in the community generally.
The Rudd Government has extended funding for the program, at a reduced level, until the end of 2011, after which time there may be no more funding despite the program's social benefits, sound administration and strong community support. If elected, the Coalition would continue funding the program in its current form, at its current level of $165 million over 3 years.
20. Ban Plastic Bags in FL and U.S.A.
“Data released by the United States Environmental Protection Agency shows that somewhere between 500 billion and a trillion plastic bags are consumed worldwide each year.”
-National Geographic News September 2, 2003
“Plastic bags account for over 10 percent of the debris washed up on the U.S. coastline.”
-National Marine Debris Monitoring Program
If just 1 out of 5 people in our country used a Bio bag we would save 1,330,560,000,000 bags over our life time.
A study in 1975, showed oceangoing vessels together dumped 8 million pounds of plastic annually. The real reason that the world's landfills weren't overflowing with plastic was because most of it ended up in an ocean-fill.
Ireland took the lead in Europe, taxing plastic bags in 2002 and have now reduced plastic bag consumption by 90%
- BBC News August 20, 2002
China will save 37 million barrels of oil each year due to their ban of free plastic bags
- CNN.com/asia January 9, 2008
Reducing plastic bags will decrease foreign oil dependency.
Bangladesh, China, Ireland, Rwanda, Israel, western India, Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Taiwan, and Singapore have also banned or are moving toward banning the plastic bag.

21. Keep the Canadian National Anthem the Same
Help keep our national anthem the same. There is talk about changing the Canadian national anthem to be "gender neutral". The Conservative government wants to change the line "in all our son's command" to something more inclusive, in honour of the Vancouver Olympics.
I understand the desire to promote equality and woman's rights, but this is our national anthem! Do we want our national anthem to be up for review every time someone makes a complaint? I personally want to see some things kept the same. This is a symbol of our country and our heritage, it should not be up for change ever! I want to see our anthem protected against meddlers. I do not with to offend anyone who find our lyrics offensive, however I do not want to wake up one morning to find that I no longer recognise our national anthem. I want to see the changes stopped here and now.
It is not that I have anything against gender equality, I just do not want to see the floodgates opened on this issue. If we change one line in our national anthem, where will it stop? Take out god for the atheists? Take out native for all those that might find that word offensive? Maybe even take out Canada for all those who have immigrated here. Where would it end? I do not want to find out, as I’m sure many of you do not want to either. Our national anthem may not be perfect, but I for one like it the way it is!

22. Support a Woodstock National Holiday
As an original Woodstock Survivor who sat in the mud with 500,000 brothers and sisters the weekend of August 15, 16, 17, 1969 I witnessed first hand the love , the sharing, and the sacrifice of those that attended. A half million people were galvanized in the mud together. Here the seeds of brotherhood and compassion were sown which healed this Nation.
It's time for us to return to these core values once more. a National Holiday will help us focus on what this histroric event has come to symbolize.
23. Canadians Against the "Quebec Style" Signage Bylaw of the City of Dieppe, N,B.
The City of Dieppe, New Brunswick has proposed a “Quebec Style” Commercial Signage Bylaw that all commercial signage must be in “ FRENCH ONLY “ or Bilingual while banning English only signage with fines for non compliance.
English and French are both the Official languages in Canada and both Language have Equal Rights and Privileges.
This is clearly DISCRIMINATION against the English language and against our Canadian Constitutional Rights to freedom of expression.
24. Keep The National School Chaplaincy Program Running
The Rudd Government has refused to rule out cancelling funding for the National School Chaplaincy Program currently operating in State Schools across Australia, despite figures showing 97% of school principals who have engaged a chaplain strongly support the program and recognise the benefits for their school communities.
School chaplains play an important role supporting students and school communities by offering pastoral care and guidance across religious denominations
and beliefs.
25. NOEWAIT: National Organization to End the Waitlists
The National Organization to End the Waitlist (NOEWAIT) has a petition directed to the President and Members of Congress:
"Health Care Reform Must Eliminate Waitlists and Allow for the Continuation/Portability of Services Across State Lines"
NOEWAIT is a grass-roots, national, social justice movement organized to ensure full opportunity, choices, freedom, and self-determination for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in every community by eliminating wait lists for services in every state. This will be accomplished through public education, mobilizing people into action, and changing public policy.
BECAUSE
Across the nation, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities wait years for services and supports and can not move freely from state to state or community to community.
BECAUSE
There must be adequate funding for lifetime services and supports needed by our most vulnerable family
members, without gaps or delays.
BECAUSE
Funding must be available in all states, portable across and within states and promote self-determination
for the individual with the disability, their families and legal guardians.
WE PLEDGE
To unite the efforts of families, providers, government agencies, advocacy groups and citizens to change laws and policies across the country and eliminate waiting lists for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
26. Help Families Keep the Government from Seizing their Land
On Sept. 14, 2009 we went to Big South Fork National Park in Tennessee. There we came across a homestead farm built in the 1800's by Jonathan Blevins but the land had continued to be worked until the early 1980's by the then said owner, Oscar Blevins. He was told he would have to leave his home of 50 years so the Government could declare Mr. Blevins land and other homesteads in the area as well as the forest surrounding these homesteads a National Park.
Oscar Blevins did not want to leave his home but the Government declared his home and land condemned and seized it from him. I was outraged when I read all this on the history of the farm right there on Oscar Blevin's property.
27. Support a Population Driven Stimulus Package
As you know America is in a huge recession; why don't we allow the American people the opportunity to stimulate the economy?
China's economy is rising exponentially. Why? The people of China are working together to boost their own economy.
We as Americans have become lazy. We look to the government to continuously bail us out; all the while putting us further and further into dept. The more money the government throws into stimulus packages that don't work, the more our national debt goes up.
Americans constantly complain that the President isn't doing enough, or isn't putting money into the right areas. Instead of complaining we should take the initiative and ask to have the right to contribute and decide where the money goes. The solution is very elementary.
Take a look at the size of the adult population in America; if each adult citizen pays just $10.00 a month to a stimulus fund that would equate to approximately $3 billion dollars a month. That money raised could bail this country out quickly without adding to our national deficit.
My suggestion is allocate the funds each month to two areas. The first being the SBA and the second being infrastructure. We've spent enough money on the stock markets, banks and the automobile industry. Small businesses are the meat and potatoes of America. Why are we padding the pockets of the already wealthy CEO's of these big corporations?
This stimulus fund will boost small businesses to grow and expand therefore, creating more jobs. Equally it will create jobs by enabling constant growth in our infrastructure.
So, why don’t we as Americans quit complaining and ask that we contribute into digging ourselves out of this hole.
28. Support NSW National Parks Hunting Bill
The Shooters Party's Robert Brown has placed a Bill before the NSW Parliament which will allow hunting access to the State's National Parks.
The value of this Bill as a conservation tool is limitless and if successfully passed will help save countless native flora and fauna populations from predation by introduced and feral animals.
29. Change the Name of the NAACP to NAAAP
Every since the NAACP started it has used the same old outdated name the " C " should be changed to an " A "
meaning ( ALL ) People.
30. Help Make cancer research and treatment a National priority
Help make cancer research and treatment a National priority.
