Blockshoppers.com is a website that poses themselves as a part of the media giving them an opportunity to post your name and home address to anyone visiting their website.
All one has to do is put your name in the search engine and pops up your personal residence. Although they are supposing to say they are providing information about real estate property for selling purposes, your property does not even have to be up for sale to be listed on their website.
Blockshoppers.com uses the fact that these are public records are accessible to anyone. The fact is that when someone is in search about a piece of real estate, they do not look it up by the person's name, but by the address.
A serious real estate agent will be willing to go to the courts and find the information they need, but not some crazed person who may want to harm you.
2. Renovate the Stockwell First World War Memorial at Stockwell Memorial Gardens, London
This is an important Grade 2 listed building and it bears the names of 574 men who were killed in the Great War.
These soldiers and sailors came from all types of backgrounds and all had a connection with Stockwell, although many came originally from outside the area. The names are now eroding and need attention.
To help us save the precious memory of these men who gave the ultimate sacrifice, please sign my Petition to Lambeth Council to provide a plan for the restoration and maintenance of this memorial.

6. Removal of Rossford Schools busdriver Dwayne Lau Jr.
While riding the rossford school bus in ohio, driven by Dwayne Lau Jr., students have been constantly treated unfairly by him.
He deals with trouble an incredibly wrong way, in doing such things like calling the students names, making fun of them, and even targeting specific students the whole ride, instead of all of his students.
Examples of his unethical behavior is agreeing with one student to kill himself, accusing another student of being gay (and tormenting him about that), calling another student vulgar names, for example "f****** retard".
Aside from being unfair, he also is a bad choice for a person in charge of driving many students, holding their lives in his hand. Everyday, he comes on, looking drunk, hung-over, high, and just completely out of it. His music taste has nothing to do with driving the bus, but its completely different if he makes the students on the bus listen to it to.
I bring this up, because on one occasion, he made the bus listen to a band called "Cannible Corpse", in which the lyrics were very vulgar. This band has a history of singing about rape, molestation, and violence, and should NOT be played to students this young.
In conclusion, Dwayne Lau Jr., is a unfair, unfit busdriver, and should be immediately fired.

(ITPL); and Electronics City. Infosys and Wipro, India's 2nd and 3rd largest software companies, have largest campus in Electronics City. As headquarters to 38% of global SEI-CMM Level 5 Companies, Bangalore's place in the global IT map is prominent.[32]
The growth of Information Technology has presented the city with unique challenges. Ideological clashes between the city's IT moguls, who demand an addressal of the infrastructural problems of the city, and the traditionally bureaucratic state governments, whose electoral base is primarily rural Karnataka's agricultural workers, are aplenty. In July 2004 Wipro CEO Azim Premji threatened to pull his company out of the city, stating, "We do not see the situation (state of Bangalore's infrastructure) improving in the near future".[33]
The Hosur Road, which connects Bangalore to the Electronics City, is a heavily congested road in the city. The road is also part of the National Highway (NH7) and therefore witnesses heavy truck traffic as well.

Chaning the Name
BANGALORE, India, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Kannada speakers in India's Karnataka state have renamed their capital and IT hub Bangalore as Bengalooru to carry the language's common "u" syllable.
The official name change coincides with the golden jubilee of the founding of southern Karnataka as a state.
State Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy said, "Bangalore and several other cities have Kannada names but they have been anglicized in usage. It has also become a topic of debate. On this happy occasion of the golden jubilee, I am glad to announce the change in names," reports the Press Trust of India.
Ten other cities in the state also were renamed, with some of them taking on the "u" ending monikers. Mysore, the state's second-largest city, became Mysooru, Tumkur Tumakuru, Chikamagalur Chikamagalooru, and Mangalore Mangalooru.
8. Erring medical college teachers in india should be taken to task by MCI
Medical Council of India (MCI) has recommended "large-scale" punishment of erring medical teachers across the country and asked for their names be removed from the Indian Medical Register maintained by it.
In a list submitted by the MCI 65-medical teachers were blacklisted for being found to be employed in more than one medical college at the same time. While a large number of medical teachers are from the Andhra Medical Council, the list has teachers from Tamil Nadu Medical Council, Hyderabad State Medical Council, Orissa Medical Council, Maharashtra Medical Council, Karnataka Medical Council and Tranvancore Medical Council.
And while this is the largest number of medical teachers to be ever `blacklisted'. Meanwhile, for the listed medical teachers, their names will be erased temporarily up to July 31, 2007, and they will not be eligible to be counted as a teacher at the inspections to be carried out by MCI, a large number of doctors and PhD nonmedical teachers employed abroad, claim employment as medical teachers in more than one medical college at the same time. Names of the doctors shown as medical teachers in a particular medical college are getting repeated in the inspection reports of new medical colleges. Ultimately it is the innocent students who get admissions into such medical colleges where the minimum required number of medical teachers are shown in such a dubious manner that they suffer.
Patients who may be treated by such half-baked students who would not get their exposure and training with the `small' number of medical teachers available to them.
To curb such unscrupulous tendencies, MCI claims to be taking stringent action including introduction of the `declaration forms' to be signed by doctors, claiming employment as medical teachers in any given medical colleges and that they also remain present with their declaration forms at the time of the conduct of the inspection of that college.
Also, provision for endorsement by the dean/principal of the medical college should be introduced in the declaration form .

Please digest these following questions. Did you ever consider how demoralizing it is to sign your own name with an X when you're disabled? And what if someone would come up to you and remark, "Anyone can write an X!" What would you say? Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, I can't speak for the others, but in my own life, these questions are asked.
My name is Loreena Minaudo, and I have cerebral palsy - a birth defect. Through no fault of my own, my arms and hands don't have the motor control to write my name. It isn't because I'm not educated. In fact, in 1991 I did not only receive an Associate of Arts degree from Macomb Community College, but President Al Lorenzo published my first book called A Cry for Education. So, for someone to say," Anyone can sign an x," I feel like saying - Does the word STUPID appear on my forehead?
I am often ignored, talked down to, or smirked at by able-bodied men and women out in society. Unfortunately, due to my affliction, I find that the disabled and the elderly communities are the most targeted by not so honest people. Then, I have heard too many horror stories about Personal Aides, Con Artists, and family members who forge the X signature to get our money.
This is why I, as well as the rest of the physically challenged people who have arm and hands limitations, need something more than an (X) when signing our names. We would like to use a thumbprint or fingerprint for signing our names.
According to the Academic American Encyclopedia it says that fingerprinting is one of the earliest forms of scientific evidence to be recognized in the courts of law. An individual's ten fingerprints form an indelible, unchangeable signature, and fingerprint records can be used for identification, despite changes in an individual's appearance or age.
The Bill had voted unanimously. But in later months, HB 4258 was attached to the Garbage Bill, and they were both trashed down. But despite this, Colleen Manning pushed Rep Leon Drolet to reinstate the Bill again, which he did.

Impeach Bush for his lies and his attack on our air, water, parks, refuges, rights, oceans, wild life and wildlands to help large corporations make bigger profits. Impeach Bush for pushing bills that make tax payers pay to clean up the pollutors messes.
Impeach Bush to save our country. Impeach Bush to stop the lies and his control over what news we get to see on TV. Stop Bush from selling out our country's most precious treasures to Big Oil and Big Timber. Bush says he will stop forest fires by letting the timber companies cut down the forests, yet only 2% of the area to be clear cut is high risk for fires. Stop Bush's false statements, phony names for legislation like "Clear Skies Bill" Which only means he is allowing more pollution to be pumped into the environment, and people think because of the name it is a good bill.
Stop watching the TV for the truth, it is not there anymore. Bush's dad still works for the Saudi's and the family of BIN LADEN, do you really believe they would destroy that relationship which makes them millions to catch the son or brother of these guys. Get realistic.

Dear (UK) TNA Wrestling Fans,
As you will all know, one of the leading wrestling companys/industrys named TNA, have recently begun booking a new show in the name of TNA Impact. This show is a new kind of entertainment that only TNA can bring unlike other federations like the WWE and other pro and semi-pro federations.
This petition is to try and get a response from UK TNA fans that would enjoy having TNA Impact aired on regional television rather than satellite or sky, which is not available for some people.
Channels like C4 and C5 would benefit from the weekly TNA Impact shows, greatly in my opinion and hopefully many of the people that will sign this petition will think the same.
I am sure that if we presented these two networks with the information and signatures that we will gather, they would happily review the idea of airing TNA Impact shows.

20. Grand Theft Auto players say Give PS2 a GTA boost!
The Grand Theft Auto series has been one of the most successful series to date with the latest release of GTA3. The upcoming title, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City may be another excellent release that adds to the classic saga. However, anyone who has played any of the Grand Theft Auto games can tell you the two things that are missing: Liscensed Vehicle and weapon names, and multiplayer capabilites. It is not too late to request that Rockstar and their partners make these changes to the upcoming title before its debut. Rockstar is one of the most successful companies that make games today, with most of their releases being topsellers(ex. Grand Theft Auto 3, Max Payne, Midnight Club.) And yet, they have only decided to have liscensed vehicle names in the approaching title "The Getaway." (This was posted in the Game Informer Magazine. This is not mere hearsay.) All people who have played GTA3 at one time or another had a friend who wanted to play, and the person did not want to give up the controller. This is why I request that you sign this petition and quite possibly help Playstation 2 Internet make an earlier debut.
