1. Stop BC Medical Services Plan Premiums! 
British Columbia is the only province in Canada imposing a fixed monthly premium on its citizens for our universal healthcare coverage as mandated by the Canada Health Act. In other provinces healthcare premiums are fully covered by tax revenues. The next election is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
Between now and then we have an opportunity to place this on the agenda. The Liberals are looking for ways to appease us after the HST debacle and the NDP want to acquire our interest. Now is the time to approach both with this issue.
On a side note - Alberta, changed from premium based to tax based in 2009, leaving BC the final hold out.
2. Faster Broadband Speeds for Robroyston
Many residents have contacted me regarding the slow speed of broadband in the neighbourhood. In many cases speeds that are being paid for are not being delivered as advertised. I am looking to gather as much support as possible to enable me to make a strong case to broadband providers about improving the service.
I understand that, at present, the slow speed is due to the distance of peoples’ homes to the telephone exchange. If you wish to join my campaign then please sign the petition below.
3. Justice for Scotland - Call for Resignation of Kenneth MacAskill
This is call for the Resignation of Kenneth MacAskill by the Scottish people for the reasons below.
"On 20 August 2009, MacAskill authorised the release of Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi, who had been convicted of the bomb attack on Pan Am Flight 103, which killed 270 people. Megrahi had served 8½ years of a life sentence, but doctors certified that he had developed prostate cancer and had "only a very short period of time to live".[4] The Justice Secretary has discretionary authority to order such a release, and MacAskill has taken sole responsibility for the decision."
In doing so he let Scotland down and embarrassed Scotland in front of the world for this we call for Kenneth MacAskill to step down from his post.
On another subject considering Kenneth MacAskill is that he put forward legislation 'kerb crawling laws' that have harmed Aberdeen as the tolerance zone can no longer be allowed this has pushed prostitute towards the city center and actually increased prostitution and the dangers for prostitutes.

4. Restore Post Study Work Visas
This is a petition requesting all international graduates from UK Universities to fight for rights for the post study work visa. So many international students have been rejected the post study work scheme because of shortfall in funds which was not clearly explained. This is unfair and seriously questions the credibility of this rule as it is intentionally meant to rob students of their post study work permit. This is discriminatory and racist.
5. Protect the Citizens of Michigan
Governor Granholm's recent budget does not include any money for a Michigan State Police Recruit School. According to Matt Wesaw, the Director of Government Relations for the Michigan State Police Troopers Association, "Without reinforcements to replace those who leave the force, there will be less than one-thousand patrol officers by September of next year. That would be the lowest number since the 1960's."
The Department's Gubernatorial Transition Report from November 26, 1990, stated that "The first (role and function) is to provide high quality, 24-hour a day police services for the unincorporated rural and suburban areas of the State...county law enforcement levels vary widely...the final responsibility always falls to the State Police."
If the State is unable to maintain adequate Trooper levels, the citizens of Michigan will be unknowingly placed in harm's way through the severe lack of police protection.
