32. Demand that the South Umpqua School District lower administrative salaries
The administrators in the South Umpqua School District are making above the average salary for the state. Yet our teachers are making well below that average. If the teachers are to recieve a well below average salary, so should the administrators.
33. Ban Dolphin Tuna
This petition was started on July 25th, 2003. I started it after reading something about dolphins being killed for tuna. Animals have rights, that includes Dolphins. Yes, I see that fish are still being killed for tuna, but the only way to stop making dolphin tuna is to stop making tuna all together.

THERE IS AN ON GOING HARASSMENT TAKING PLACE BY THE CARSON CA. SHERIFFS DEPT. AGAINST RECENT PAROLEES / CITIZENS.
EXCESSIVE CONTACT WITH NO PROBABLE CAUSE, FOR PULLING OVER, STOPPING THEM ON THE STREETS CALLING THEM OUT OF THEIR FRONT YARDS, AND EXCESSIVE DRIVING BYE THEIR RESIDENCES AND SHINNING SPOT LIGHTS THROUGH THE RESIDENCE WINDOWS AT ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT.
THEY HARRASS, CUFF AND DETAIN CITIZENS/AND RECENT PAROLEES OF THE CARSON/DOMINGUEZ AREAS ON A REGULAR BASIS WHEN THEY ARE ENGAGED IN NORMAL DAILY ACTIVITIES THEREFORE MAKING IT DIFFICULT FOR CITIZENS/PAROLEES TO CARRY ON THEIR DAILY ROUTINES WITHOUT FEAR OF BEING DETAINED/CUFFED OR HARRASSED BY THE OFFICERS OF THE CARSON CA. SHERIFFS DEPT.
MANY RECENT PAROLEES HAVE NOT EVEN LASTED ON THE STREETS A WHOLE MONTH WITHOUT BEING ARRESTED ON CHARGES THAT NEVER HOLD UP IN COURT BUT NON THE LESS THEY HAVE HAD CONTACT WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT MAKING THEM IN VIOLATION OF THERE PAROLE,THEREFORE SENDING THEM BACK TO JAIL TO SERVE TIME FOR THAT. I DON'T BELIEVE THAT THIS LAW WAS QUITE SET UP THIS WAY AND FEEL AS THOUGH THERE IS A VIOLATION IN THE USE OF THIS LAW.
35. Make the Adam Vinatieri Fan Club Official!
This is a request to Adam Vinatieri and/or NFL to allow the Adam Vinatieri Fan Club to be made official. It also should be allowed to bear "official" in its name making it the Official Adam Vinatieri Fan Club.
Cartoon Network has recentley added more than 6 new animes. I LOVE all of these but I get on the internet a lot, and I have seen a bunch more animes online. I don't want to pay like 60 bucks just for 5 episodes in a series, do you? I love anime and I bet you do too so please sign the petition!
37. Cheaper Sms on all mobile networks worldwide
This Petition Is Very Simple. Its To Get The Mobile Networks Out There To Give Us Cheaper Sms! The Price Of Sms Is Kind Of Cheap But its Not If You Text All The Time. The Balance On Peoples Phones Goes Down Way To Fast. I Want To See The Mobile Networks Drop The Price Of Sms By At Least 5p. 38. Bring Back 'The Crystal Maze'!
In 1990, the United Kingdom was introduced to Channel 4's newest game show- 'The Crystal Maze'! The show was hosted by Richard O'Brien, who lead a team of six contestants, fronted by a team captain and a vice captain, around the maze. Richard O'Brien left the show after series four, however, making way for Ed Tudor-Pole.
The Crystal Maze tested the initiative of the team's six contestants, in 15 puzzling games, where the objective was to beat the clock and escape with a time crystal. The time crystals were worth 5 seconds of time in the Crystal Dome, where your goal was to collect as many gold tokens as you possibly could in the time achieved by the team through collecting 'Time Crystals', but any silver tokens collected were deducted from the total of gold, making it harder for the team to reach their goal of 100 gold tokens, to gain their much-deserved prize!
The Crystal Maze was sectioned off into four zones: 'Medieval', 'Aztec', 'Futuristic' and 'Industrial' (which later changed to 'Ocean' towards the end of Richard O'Brien's time as a Crystal Maze presenter). The team members took it in turns, decided by the team captain, to tackle the tasks set before them in the games, hopefully gaining possession of that all-important time crystal. If they failed to complete their task and escape in their allocated amount of time, however, they would be locked in, only to be released by a sacrificed crystal, otherwise they would be locked in for the entirety of the show. The team had a choice of four types of game to tackle: 'Skill', 'Physical', 'Mental' and 'Mystery'.
It was up to the team captain to choose the team member who was best suited to this task. The team's outfits were each a different colour, later having a 'Time Crystal' printed on the backs.
The Crystal Maze had its residents, other than the host. In Medieval, and probably the most famous of all, was 'Mumsy', who was Richard O'Brien's Mother. She was a fortune teller, who was the main part of a Mystery game, where she would ask the chosen contestant three questions, which required a lot of thought and figuring out.
One correct answer would win them the 'Time Crystal', which rose from a crystal ball. Richard's Aunt Sabrina, who was consequently played by the same actress, replaced the character of Mumsy in the third series. The Futuristic zone had its own character- the computer, which asked the team a question when they arrived.
How can such a successful show be buried in the TV archives?
allSTARS* have stopped producing records, and now it's not 100% that STARStreet* will continue! Wherever they appear, they never fail to put smiles on peoples faces, and have an ever-increasing number of fans, stretching all the way to Australia! A world without the great allSTARS* can never be complete, so please sign this petition and give allSTARS* your support, so they continue to live out their dreams! Thank you!!!
40. Limit Youth Access to Pro-Ana websites
The internet is a very powerful tool that can be used to reach many people. Unfortunately, when you reach many people, you reach an audience commonly found to have a herd mentality. This is so for any age group, however, teenagers often have this mentality augmented by a poor self-image of themselves. There are sites out there that are less of a support group, and more of a feeding frenzy of the triggers that make people fall into this idea that they should starve themselves. This only works hand in hand with the media saying that these models with lower-than-healthy BMI's are the epitome of beauty.
My point is this. Though we can't control the media, we can try and make it so that there are restrictions at the front pages of these pro-ana sites. Making it an offense similar tas with a pornography site stating that minors should not enter into the site any further without knowingly risking state level prosecutions. I have seen genuinly supportful pro-ana sites. But even still the line between these two types is almost as thin as the pictures of women shown there. If State and Federal Laws are passed making it illegal for minors to view the pictures deemed inappropriate or harmful, we will be treating just like every other offensive, unhealthy or potentially harmful practice such smoking or drinking. This is the stance that the Pro-ana supporers take when speaking about the decisions they have made as adults. Provide young people with a means for support and expression, but have a commissioned group to decide if a site in question should be deemed inappropriate of minors. After all, you won't see AA host their meetings in a liqour store.
41. No Limited Edition Neopets!!!
It isn't fair that not EVERYONE can get a particular Neopet!!!
Stop making Limited edition Neopets & make the Limited Edition Neopets; Non-Limited Edition Neopets!!! It's not fair that the COOLEST ones are either limited edition, or restricted!!! We want it stopped!!!
Maybe instead of making them like that, you can just make it where if you create one, you can NEVER send it to the pound. Like, the pound won't accept it, or something... We are willing to compromise with this situation. We find it unfair that it's "first come, first serve" basis. ESPECIALLY when we have NO idea that you are going to make a new Neopet. Please do this for us...
42. Make sure the Spongebob movie doesn't SUCK.

You heard it on Entertainment tonight... or maybe access... it was one of those shows, but there's a new Spongebob movie set to come out 2004! Before you start celebrating, take a look at the company making it. Nickelodeon, who came out with such horrible flops like "Jimmy Neutron" and the sad little "Hey Arnold!" movie. Even though these may have started as good ideas, they have been "Nicked" to DEATH.
I've used ebay for years, I've seen THEM become richer and richer as the sellers get poorer and poorer. I have created this petition in an attempt to get the fees lowered.
Ebay has continually raised cost to list items on there auctions, they have created stores, bought out billpoint and paypal. They are obviously making more money off of our sales than we are. We the small sellers are loosing moneys, please lower fees or we will be looking to move elsewhere.
This petition is designed to get Nickelodeon's and Viacom's attention to show them they are making a big mistake.
45. STOP RANDOM RESTOCKS AT NEOPETS.COM
On February 28, 2002, Neopets.com began random shop times, making it harder for people to purchase items from the shops. This procedure was put into place to prevent the use of autobuyers, thusly making their site further addictive. Neopets needs to realize that the reason people are cheating is because they, THEMSELVES, have made items so hard to buy, that cheating/scamming have become big problems.
Neopets.com needs to realize that if items were more readily available and affordable, this problem would cease. Punishing ALL players by making a more complicated buying process and random stock times is ridiculous, the answer lies within better HTML coding, and more available/affordable items. NOT IN PUNSIHING EXISTING PLAYERS.
46. Sidewalk Addition to Havenner Road
Our neighborhood has seen many road improvements over the last two years, but one significant issue continues to haunt us all, -- the dangers for any pedestrian, both young and old. *Over 110,000 pedestrians are injured every year and many are even killed by automobiles. This carnage is attributable only in part to individual misjudgment -- a failure to "look both ways" as children are taught. These deaths an injuries are also the consequences of a transportation system gone badly wrong -- a system focused on making the streets safe for cars instead of making communities safe for people.
Indeed, people are 1.6 times more likely to get killed by a car while walking than they are to be shot and killed by a stranger with a gun.
An in fact our own neighborhood has had consistent trouble with speeders, hazardous driving and lack of accessible walkways. One neighbor was hit just a year ago and got seriously injured.
Two important points:
1)Senior Citizens Are At The Highest Risk and
account for 23 percent of all pedestrian
fatalities -
2)Most Fatalities Occur On Neighborhood Streets, More than half -- 55 percent -- of all pedestrian deaths by automobiles occur on neighborhood streets.
Let's take a step forward to gaining back our streets for those that want to walk, run, exercise, and enjoy our beautiful neighborhood. There are many attractions, such as the pond and the pool that are just not accessible to the average walker/family. Sidewalks can be the beginning to opening up ourselves to a new way of life in Fairfax Station.
47. Repeal New York State's Immunity Laws
The New York State Social Services Law Article 6, Title 6, Section 419 relating to Child Protective Services are unjust, ineffective, and racially biased.
This law requires ANY person, doctor, daycare, deadbeat parent, or stranger to telephone the New York State Central Registry Child Abuse Hotline to make an anonymous call to accuse a parent of child abuse or neglect WHETHER TRUE OR NOT.
The New York State Social Services Law Article 6, Title 6, Section 419 relating to Child Protective Services are unjust, ineffective, and racially biased.
When a telephone call is made to the New York State Central Registry Child Abuse Hotline. The person on the phone does not have to leave a name, just an allegation that a parent is abusing or neglecting their children. No proof or evidence is required.
Calls are only accepted by the accuser. Parents who have children in foster care are prevented from making this same call to the hotline.
This law states that an accuser shall have immunity from any liability, civil or criminal. No one is held accountable for making false allegations.
The harshest provision of the child protective laws are that children be removed from the biological home and placed in a strange foster care setting. Non-abused children are subjected to physical and sexual abuse by strangers daily.
73% of the children who are in foster care are African American, they spend an average of four years in foster care. 2% of the children in foster care are White. The remaining children are catagorized as other or Hispanic.
African-American children are overwhemingly penalized and removed from their homes without any prior evidence of parental wrongdoing.
The penalties apply without regard to the circumstances or the individual's character or background, making it irrelevant whether the parent is actually an abuser or not.
The racially disproportionate nature of the immunity law is not just devastating to African-Americans.
It contradicts faith in the principles of justice and equal protection of the laws that should be the bedrock of any constitutional democracy; it exposes and deepens the racial fault lines that continue to weaken the country and belies its promise as the land of equal opportunity; and it undermines faith among all races in the fairness and efficacy of the justice system.

By signing this petition I agree and support the fact that Sonja should be able to stay in the United States of America at least until January. This way Sonja would be able to finish the first semester. If Sonja were to go back know it would interrupt with her education. All of us thought that Sonja's organization sent students here to experience what it is like in America. By making her go back this November she would be missing out on homecoming at her school and she wouldn't get to experience Christmas in America either.

This petition has been created for all the Canadian fans of making the band and o-town. The USA has had numerous making the band marathons on the hit states channel MTV. I think fans in Canada should get the equal chance to see there favorite band and show in a non stop sequence all at once *good for taping*.
50. Against PTA's promoting film "That's a Family."

Numerous groups appear to be joining the crusade to push the homosexual agenda in the nation's public schools. Now National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) President Ginny Markell said her organization would be making available a video which embraces same-sex families as part of a nationwide effort to fight discrimination against homosexuals.
The video is from Debra Chasnoff and Helen Cohen, the same producers of It's Elementary: Talking About Gay Issues in School, a 1996 film that stirred controversy in communities across the nation. However, while the latter was aimed at teachers and school administrators, That's a Family! is intended to be shown directly to children.
As in It's Elementary, Chasnoff and Cohen use the same strategy in their new film: using children to make the case for the acceptance of homosexuality.
