The activities of The London Dungeon and The London Experience, and particularly the latter, should be confined to the interiors of their respective premises in Tooley Street and below the approach to London Bridge.

Their display of gory and frightening posters on the street, their actors in ghoulish makeup and stage blood who accost passing children, the broadcast of amplified sound effects and the use of inappropriate props such as a guillotine on the pavement outside their premises have made Tooley Street a no-go area for many local families as children are too frightened to run the gauntlet of these 'visitor attractions'.

It is also deeply disturbing for those visiting sick or injured friends and relatives in nearby hospitals to have to come face to face with pastiches of illness and injury.
