Petition Tag - little resemblance

The character in our film is not intended to resemble Britney Spears, let alone slander her. Action by her counsel would cause of loss of income. The potential case would hinge on whether or not the character resembles Ms. Spears. It is our hope that a large number of viewers weighing in with that opinion that there is very little resemblance will cause the legal team to see the folly of pursuing such a case, thus saving us court time and cost both financial and to our careers, and protecting the creative freedom of other artists in the future.
