Petition Tag - laws
With the imminent passage of Bill 14 in Quebec, democracy is being legislated away along with our fundamental rights and freedoms. And there seems to be no way to stop it. UNLESS we do something that makes international headlines and draws the spotlight to us.
Imagine 10,000 Quebecers/Canadians applying for asylum to the United States - you can't buy optics like that.
Help us fight back!
2. Make Stronger laws to stop rape in India
There has been a rise in rape cases across all states of India. Recently there was a severe case against a 23 year old medical student who was brutally assaulted and raped by a group of men. Some men take law into their hand as we are very smooth with them even after they get caught. A case runs for years and their is no justice given to victim. How long can this go.
We need severe measures to protect our women. Take measures before it happens. Install camera everywhere possible and have a thorough check of each vehicle at night time. Remove all tinted glasses from 4 wheelers.
There are many such suggestions. We would also like to hear from all of you.
3. Stop the 2013 Assault Weapons Ban, and any other ban on firearm ownership
Firearm Ownership is not only a right guaranteed by the second Ammendment, but also a god given right to be able to defend ourselves.
Diane Feinstein has proposed a bill that would not only limit our ability to purchase firearms, but also limit our ability to defend ourselves, our families, and our way of life. She has used the tragedy in Connecticut to her own political advantage, which is not only distasteful, but also a disgusting misuse of power.
Connecticut already has a firearms ban, did that stop the shooter? No, so why would a nationwide ban on weapons be any different. The real problem here is evil, not firearms, and we need to be able to defend ourselves against it. In China, 22 children were killed by a knife wielding madman at an elementary school on or about the same day.
China has not proposed a ban on Knives, because its not the tools that cause these incidents, it is people, with evil intent in their hearts. Schools are supposedly safe "Gun Free" zones, did that law stop this man from going into a school and murdering innocent people? No, because criminals and evil know no laws, follow no rules, and these so called "Gun Free" zones are part of the problem, we protect our President with armed security, our money, our borders, our homes and streets with armed police, but we fail to protect our most precious asset our children?
4. Change US gun laws so that they protect the people
United States firearm laws need to be changed as they no longer protect the people. There are over 40,000 firearm related incidences every year in the US, 23% of which are intentional homocides.
Going on a per 100,000 inhabitants:
America has 3.0 intentional homocides ever year; compared to
UK (0.073)
Germany (0.2)
Australia (0.1)
How many more innocent people need to be killed before the US government realises something needs to change?
Yes, I'm aware the guns don't kill people, people kill people but guns make it easier for people to kill people which is what they are doing.
If people who actually needed firearms had them and were licensed to have them then America would be a whole lot safer then it currently is.
But No, ANYONE can go and buy a gun "for their own protection"....protection from what? other people with guns? Can you see where i'm going? Not everyone needs a gun which would mean not everyone would need a gun to protect themselves.
The Law as it stands is now working against itself and doing the complete opposite of what it was designed to do.
Every 1 in 1.5 Americans possess a firearm, surely not everyone of those people is in the right frame of mind to hold such weapons.
Less guns = less massacres, less homocides, safer America.

5. Reject blasphemy accusation: Release the innocent young girl
A down's syndrome girl (aged between 10 to 11) was accused of blasphemy and has been arrested by Pakistani police.
The girl will be sentenced to death according to Pakistan's law for blasphemy.

6. Alaska Sex Offender Residency Restriction
My name is Jacob Butcher, I am 25 years old, have lived in the Mat-Su Borough for 16 years, and am a father of three children. My Children are 6 year old, (currently attends and plays soccer at Goose Bay Elementary), 2 year old, and my daughter, 6 month old. The safety of my children is obviously my number one priority in life. I go to great lengths to ensure they are fully protected from any and all avoidable dangers in their and my life.
I am writing to you as a concerned resident of the Mat-Su Borough. I was recently researching the registered sex offenders that live in my area in an attempt to be fully aware for my childrens' safety; in the process of doing so, I found that among the many in my area, one in particular, a Mr. Kenneth Lynn Griffeth, has taken up residency off of Valley View Dr which is a road off of Vine Rd. The subject that lives here has been convicted of sexual abuse of a minor in the 2nd degree. I take issue with his residency as the backyard of his property backs up the playground of Knik and Goose Bay Elementary Schools. I contacted the sex offender registry office in Anchorage and was advised that unless somebody is on conditions or probation, that sex offenders are free to take up residency wherever they like.
This brings a sickening feeling to my gut knowing that a person who is capable of such a heinous act would have free access to grounds filled with our children which we presume to be safe at school. I am now aware that there are no rules or residency restrictions in place for convicted sex offenders as to restrict their access to places such as elementary schools, middle schools, or parks and playgrounds; I am writing you in a request that this issue may be addressed by our state legislature in hopes of having tighter restrictions placed on people convicted of such crimes.
Currently there are 21 states in the United States which have adopted sex offender residency laws and restrictions. Examples as follows:
Tennessee - Statutory Citation 40-39-[2]11(a)-(b)
"A sex offender cannot live within 1,000 feet of schools, childcare facilities, or the victim."
Oklahoma - Statutory Citation OSA tit. 57 SS590
" A registered sex offender cannot live within 2,000 feet of a school."
Ohio - Statutory Citation 2950.031(A)
"A sex offender may not live within 1,000 feet of any school, childcare facility or place where children gather"
These are only a few examples of the ordinances and laws enforced in other states. More follow the same suit including Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, MIssouri, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Washington and West Virginia.
It is my hope that this issue may be addressed before the unthinkable happens to an innocent child in our community. These types of issues normally don't get much thought or attention until an incident has already occurred, but I ask that you give some serious thought and eventually take up action in hopes of preventing a future crime against one of our children.
Please contact me if there is any assistance I can provide in helping this legislation get traction.
Thank you for your time on the matter.
For 16 years now, law abiding firearms owners have had to put up with strict gun laws after the Port Arthur Massacre. It has been 16 years now since the Port Arthur Massacre, Its time the government and Gun Control Agencies stop using it as an excuse to keep our strict gun laws.
Statistics have shown Australian and New Zealand gun owners are among the best in the world, its time the government give something back to the law abiding firearms owners of Australia.
8. Support a National Animal Abusers Database
Australia has some of the most lenient laws when it comes to animal abuse and abusers. Some do not even get a conviction.
Recently, there have been some shocking cases of animal abuse in this country and it has prompted me to act., We should have a National Animal Abusers database, similar to the paedophile database, that once a person harms an animal, their name is put on this database, so any registered, responsible seller, including animal welfare organisations, who legally sell an animals, can look up this database, to see who they are selling their animals to.
I'm hoping it will reduce the number of animal abuse cases in this country and also put a stop to puppy mills.
9. Let voters decide the TN Helmet Law
The helmet law in TN was enacted without the voters having a say. This act happens far too often and I want to change the way laws are made, repealed or changed.
I hope to have your support on this to let the government know that TN is our state, our government, our life, our right, and finally our choice.
Abortions are taking the life of Innocent fetuses. People say abortion should be legal if the pregnancy is because of rape or incest, according to abortionblackout.com only 1% of abortions are because of rape or incest.
Also according to abortionblackout.com 31% of all abortions are paid for by our tax dollars though medicaid.
11. Support an 18+ Drinking Age
I believe that the US Drinking age should be 18 because I believe that if you were to let teenagers (18 years of age and older) purchase and consume alcohol, then they wouldn't go behind the authority figures back and break the law.
Other countries have a low drinking age and it is working out fine for them.
12. Stop ADOT from costing and forbidding people the right to drive
Have you ever made the mistake and lost your license for any reason at all? What if you had been pulled over for any reason while it was invalid. do you know that they extend your right to drive a year every time. Not just a year ticket free but stacked. ex: i lost my license my own fault but right after i had to move twice in a short period of time.
I got pulled over numerous times in same vehicle the reason it wasn't towed was due to amount of personal belongings in it, obviously i didn't have much choice i had to move. anyways those tickets added up and its already been four years no license two years since last ticket and four more until they will allow me to apply for a license. Ridiculous!
13. Support Oklahoma Dogs Rights
I am addressing legislators on a concern from pet owners residing in the state of Oklahoma, specifically the city of Moore. It has come to our attention that the interpretation of the animal laws seem to be unfair and unjust in this state.
I understand laws are needed to protect residences within the state, but some cities such as Moore take the law concerning pets to the extreme . It seems the law is being used as a strict black and white policy , with no room for discussion.
Surely, these laws were not intended to “dispose” of people’s pets that are considered family, when a small mistake is made and the animals get out on a rare occasion. I truly believe this law was intended for animals that are dangerous to the community or for strays.
The law at this time is unclear and the City of Moore has deemed dogs dangerous and threatened and terminated animals lives on the weak foundations such as: being “seen” out by a mincing neighbor but when animal control gets there they are not out and no sign that they have been. It is also unjust to terminate the life of a dog because they rarely get out and have never caused harm.
This should not be allowed. Please sign this petition if you are a resident of the STATE of Oklahoma although I do appreciate global support the petition is only valid for the state residences.
14. Repeal Liquor Sale Regulations in British Columbia
"The intent of this petition is to have liquor sales laws in British Columbia amended SUCH THAT:
GENERAL:
1. Liquor sales regulations facilitate the rights of both citizens and businesses to exercise their freedom, rather than inhibit it.
2. An atmosphere of peace, prosperity, and cooperation is created and upheld to the highest standard.
3. Hours of legal sale should be expanded in order to allow citizens the greatest possible opportunity to enjoy their right to choose.
4. The issuance of liquor sales licenses should be expanded to include ANY legitimate retailer in the food category including grocers, convenience stores, and non-permanent vendors.
5. Public consumption of alcohol should be decriminalised, with an accompanying "stiffening" of punishments for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. This puts the onus of maintaining proper conduct onto the citizen rather than on Peace Officers, contributing to a sense of pride, personal responsibility, and cooperation.
15. Call To Change Child Welfare Laws and Protect the Children and Not Biological Parents
See all previous foster cases in which the foster care system has failed the children and returned them home only to have them return to foster care, subjected to additional abuse/neglect, or death.
16. Australia needs a true democracy
This petition is to request that the Judiciary is accountable to the voting population of Australia.
It is recognised that by Judiciary’s unaccountable interpretation of laws, laws made by the House of Representatives and the Senate, that implementation of laws can often not provide outcomes that are consistent with the wishes of the Citizens of Australia.
We believe that if Australia is a true democracy this needs to be changed. Historically at the time of our constitution the level of education of citizens and information to citizens was not as high as it is today.
With the changes in the knowledge and education of the citizens of Australia we believe the judiciary cannot remain unaccountable.
17. Change Mandatory Car Insurance Law
Several Canadian provinces (British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Quebec) provide a public auto insurance system while in the rest of the country insurance is provided privately.
Basic auto insurance is mandatory throughout Canada with each province's government determining which benefits are included as minimum required auto insurance coverage and which benefits are options available for those seeking additional coverage. Accident benefits coverage is mandatory everywhere except for Newfoundland and Labrador.
All provinces in Canada have some form of no-fault insurance available to accident victims. The difference from province to province is the extent to which tort or no-fault is emphasized. Typically, coverage against loss of or damage to the driver's own vehicle is optional.
18. Stop Changing things for immigrants!
"Now students tuck into halal meat pies"
By Vikki Campion
From: The Daily Telegraph
May 26, 2008"
The technique worked at Lurnea Public School, which has become the latest of an estimated 40 schools from kindergarten to university to bring in halal food.
Muslim students, who make up more than 30 per cent of the school's population, can now eat meat pies, lasagne and spaghetti bolognaise at the school.
"We found that we were not catering to this community and they were coming to the canteen and asking for halal food," relieving principal Sandra Forman said.
"The other students have found this food just as good." A Department of Education spokeswoman said individual school communities were responsible for the food in canteens.
Halal Certification Authority Australia chairman Hajj Mohamed El-Mouelhy said students as young as five had pestered canteen staff to change the menu.

"Halal food in schools is becoming very popular, particularly in Sydney's west. We have been training tuckshop ladies in Campbelltown to teach them halal techniques," Mr El-Mouelhy said."
19. Legalize underage picture sexting
In all countries that have child pornography laws there is a inhumanity that happens. While the child pornography laws were made to stop pedophiles from exposing little kids to other pedophiles & the world, lawmakers at the time never thought about what to do to minors caught sharing nude pictures of themselves so they just decided to put them in with the notorious child pornographers & molesters we fear today.
Whether you're a pedophile running a child porn industry or a horny teen sending your girlfriend / boyfriend a picture of your genitals both will be held to the same level & both will get labeled as child pornographers & sex offenders.
Sex offenders are the most hated type of people on Earth. Both the police arresting them & the prisoners despise of sex offenders & will mistreat them to the full extent.
So if a teen is arrested for picture sexting it is very likely the police officer arresting them will mistreat them to the full extent. If the prisoners that teen is staying with find out about their crime they most likely will get raped & beaten more than the average prisoner. Is this really what we want our children to go through? Do you really wanna see your child get locked behind bars just for a picture they sent of their body?
If you support my movement to legalize sexting & don't have much spare time then skip the next articles. If you support legalizing sexting & have time then read the below stuff to reinforce your views. If you support keeping it illegal then you really need to read the following stuff. Here are the arguments supporters of these laws use to defend these inhumanities with & why their arguments do not justify these inhumanities:
"It is to prevent them from losing their job in the future. If their boss sees those pictures do you think they're gonna approve of that?"
1st of all how is their boss gonna get a hold of a picture their employee privately sent when they were 16? If their boss would be willing to fire their hard working & loyal employee for pictures they took when they were kids then that boss doesn't deserve to have any employees or a business. If their boss does fire them for taking nude pictures of themselves when they were kids that should apply as a lawsuit. & last of all this is just another reason to get rid of these laws. Does putting kids in prison for many years & getting put on the sex offender registry help their chance of getting a job at all?
"Do you think sending nude pictures while you're underage is gonna help your chances of getting into college?"
Same stuff as above. What someone did privately in their personal time when they were kids should not affect whether someone gets into a college or not. Are you gonna reject a perfectly qualified 18 or 20 year old from going to your college just because they took a picture of their genitals when they were 14? Also the only way a boss or college person could get a hold of pictures like that is if they're spread on the internet. Well that's when it should be a crime, not when those pictures stay between the 2 partners.
"They should be mistreated, put in prison for years, & get labeled as a sex offender because they 'shouldn't' be doing that"
I could go on & on about what people 'shouldn't be doing. People 'shouldn't' smoke tobacco but does the government come in & arrest every adult who does? People 'shouldn't' get married to someone who's 10 years older than them but does the government come in on that? Good looking women 'shouldn't' be in a relationship with a fat ugly man but does the government come in there? So you think that kids shouldn't be picture sexting, you think that justifies putting them in prison for many years? If I didn't know better I'd say you're the same people saying kids shouldn't have sex till they're out of college & married. Well hate to be the bearer of bad news, your fantasy of having a anti-sexual society in which teens are completely abstinent isn't gonna ever happen, not unless we turn completely totalitarian & castrate all the guys & circumcise all the girls.
If you support these laws you might as well support female circumcision & male castration. I don't see why any supporters of these laws would be against it. Actually I think in some ways female circumcision & male castration might be more humane than getting the punishment for child porn, cause the pain of circumcision is temporarily even though there are permanent effects later, but at least they won't have the worst kind of label someone can have. So yes if you support these laws the way they are you might as well sign a petition to legalize female circumcision & male castration. Female circumcision & male castration would be a lot more effective against teen sexting & underage sex than these laws cause then the teens wouldn't ever get horny. As long as we teens have hormones we're gonna rebel.
Now on with the arguments.
"You know what the answer to this problem is? Just don't sext while you're underage & you won't get in all this trouble".
Well unfortunately that's not gonna happen. We teens have something called hormones, something that drives us to showing off our horny genitals. Maybe if we didn't have all these laws against public nudity or had more places that allowed nudity this wouldn't be as big of a problem. Or maybe if parents would allow kids to meet each other in person then kids wouldn't need to sext long distance. We are not gonna become completely abstinent just because you want us to. Unless you castrate & circumcise us that's not gonna happen.
Here is how the IDEAL child pornography laws are: To shorten this article I'll say that basically the only changes in the child pornography laws will be that if a minor & their sexting partner within 4 years of age are somehow caught with those pictures & they keep it between themselves it will be legal & if a minor posts nude pictures of themselves on the internet then that will be the responsibility of the site they posted them on, not the police.
There needs to be gray areas with child pornography, not have them completely black & white. We need to turn these blanket laws into net laws.
So if you have a heart please sign this petition & help put an end to these inhuman arrests. You can also help by debating with supporters of these laws about it & spreading awareness about it.
20. Kaylor's Justice: stop child abuse or neglect
ABUSE STATISTICS----
More than half (61 percent) of the children (771,700 children) were victims of neglect, meaning a parent or guardian failed to provide for the child's basic needs.
Forms of neglect include educational neglect (360,500 children), physical neglect (295,300 children), and emotional neglect (193,400).
Another 44 percent were victims of abuse (553,300 children), including physical abuse (325,000 children), sexual abuse (135,000 children), and emotional abuse (148,500 children).
An average of nearly four children die every day as a result of child abuse or neglect (1,760 in 2007).
21. Reform of Animal Welfare Laws for Horses
I am a supporter of the group ‘Let the Horses Voice Be Heard’ who are fed up with watching and hearing daily, the ongoing neglect and abuse of horses in this state and many others. Neglected equines are going un-noticed because there is little protection for this animal within current laws.
There are far too many unwanted horses suffering neglect and abuse as result of little or no regulations for horse owners or breeders and, in many cases, money in the pocket becomes a more important factor than that of the welfare of the equine.
NSW and QLD equine welfare codes have not been updated since 1979 and 2001 respectively. NSW and QLD currently have NO CODE OF PRACTICE for equines, such as the one that they have in Tasmania and Victoria, and I strongly feel that all states to follow suit. From these codes we can adapt a nationwide standard which can then be used to heighten the level of care required for an equine and enforce tougher penalties before they gets to such a hideous neglected state, such as the ones rescue agencies and responsible owners witness daily.
The RSPCA has admitted to many people when reporting neglect, that the laws are lax and that they are limited in their power to act on reports. Often the horse/equine will be skeletal before they step in and by this time the damage is done and more often than not it will be euthanized. There are many, many owners and witnesses out there with stories of neglect and lack of action but through fear of retribution and the feeling of having their hands tied they are not sure where to turn next.
Many responsible horse/equine owners around Australia are desperate to get equine welfare changed across each state and see the implementation of standards enforceable by law.
Horses are suffering in paddocks because inexperienced and un-knowledgeable owners are not required by any kind of law to feed them APPROPRIATELY, water them APPROPRIATEY, trim their feet, do their teeth, worm them etc.
We want horse/equine re-categorized to reflect what they are: recreational animals, used for sport, companion animals used as pets. We want the RSPCA to have the power to make neglected owners responsible for their actions with on the spot fines and the ability to seize animals immediately, in the same way we witness seizure in other countries such as the United States.
We have been advised that approaching our local government could be the first step to getting change however their lack of acknowledgement means we need to reach out to Animal Health Australia to seek their assistance in supporting our cause. We are approaching this group responsible for welfare of livestock in the hope that we can support their aims and see them continue with their plan of action.
I ask you to help us in getting all the states in particular; NSW to review and modify the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1979 along with the QLD state to review and modify the Animal Care and Protection Act 2001 and to bring horse/equine welfare in line nationwide and see the end to horse neglect and abuse as a high priority for all in the industry.
This petition has been founded to create awareness of this issue and to be a place for all the fragmented groups to gather and push for change.
Please help save these animals from lives that are less than kind and also stop the exploding numbers of horses in this sort of care and introduce a standard, plus review the horse/equine under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1979 and the Animal Care and Protection Act 2001.
22. Rewrite The Laws for KY Board of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists
We are petitioning the KY State Board of Cosmetology to update and rewrite the Rules and Regulations set forth in order for Cosmetologists, Estheticians, Nail Technicians and Makeup Artists to do their jobs. And to make changes to protect the public from harmful services provided by unlicensed/uneducated individuals.
It is becoming increasingly more important every year that our state board review and change their current rules and regulations. Not only are unlicensed/ uneducated individuals performing services on clients with and without monetary value. Many of these people are not just performing these services on friends and family members at home in a casual atmosphere but they are practicing services in the business arena as well. These unlicensed/uneducated individuals should not be allowed to work for companies and call themselves hair and makeup artists, etc. without a license and themselves and the company they are working for being fined. In a world that has changed so much, licensed professionals are now needed on set of movies, photography sets, and by individuals unable to leave their homes, etc.; our rules and regulations need to change. Individuals should be able to acquire Independent Contractors Licenses as well as Liability Insurance and work in these situations under rules and regulations.
Stricter fines need to be placed on unlicensed individuals not practicing and our board should focus more on stopping individuals that are not licensed and are performing harmful services in the salon.
We also need to add a license for makeup artists and have education programs for them as well. Working behind the counter at a department store does not make someone a makeup artist or give them the right to provide or charge for their services. Current rules and regulations state this is illegal yet it is happening every day. Anyone providing a service on the public related to cosmetology, esthetics, makeup artistry, etc. should acquire a license to provide these services.
The cosmetology field is filled with individuals who can't find jobs and aren't making money, yet there are unlicensed/uneducated individuals making money at our profession. We put in the time and money, got the education, hold the license, take continuing education hours each year and pay renewal fees so that we can practice. These individuals need to be stopped.
As well, licensing should have better boundaries/laws and regulations in place for individuals who are coming from other states. There is a lot of gray area that needs to be eliminated. Also a cosmetology license is an umbrella license over all cosmetology related services and the individuals that hold this license should not be forced to acquire other licenses to teach, etc. Special certifications with less hours, etc. could be more understandable but we should not be forced to go back to school for a whole different license when it is part of our program originally.
23. Putting Children and Family Services in their Place
Nationwide, there are State run agencies who are supposed to be protecting abused children in dangerous situations. Each State has many different titles for them. All of them are main stapled as CPS (Child Protective Services). For example, in Texas they're known as DFPS. (Department of Family and Protective Services)
While there is an important need to find abused children and to protect them, the current system is only finding a small percentage of those truly abused children. The rest of their statistics that guarantee a high departmental income are from families who never abused their children. Where they get this income and the sources of information will be posted after the next paragraph.
I am not calling for an abolishment of CPS. What I am petitioning for is an overhaul and restructure to bring them in line with lawful investigation practices, to maintain Constitutional Rights and proper training for Agents who never had children, and psychological evaluations to find and replace the Agents who were themselves abused as Children and see abuse in every home regardless of the situation. This is not, I repeat, not a rare occurrence. I will supply statistics to support this and how this has escalated. I will also supply the sources.
Departmental income has become more important to CPS and their offices than actually finding abused children and protecting them. Each and every time they remove a child from the home, they get paid from the Federal Government. Here they are:
1. Public Law 93-247 known as the Mondale Act of 1974.
2. Public Law 96-272 known as the Adoption Assistance and Child Welfare Act of 1980
3. Social Security Title IV-E funds.
The ASFA- Public Law 105-89 known as American Safe Families Act of 1997 is one of the most horrific laws on the books today. While it sounds nice in the title, when you get through the legal jargon, what this means is so wrong. If you ever had a child removed from your house by CPS, even UNFOUNDED and you are innocent, they will take that child in minutes after the child is born! Babies are highly adoptable and the Federal Government pays out $6,000 to the CPS office who conducts the legal kidnapping and gets them adopted quickly without regards to the biological Mother and her family. Since she was investigated once, they do this in the "best interests of the child" as she is a "potential" abuser. The largest targeted types of families are folks with low incomes, children on SSI and are minorities. If you even have one of those three issues, you are a target for CPS to illegally investigate you. While these things are a surefire magnet, they have been known to do illegal investigations against families if they were reported falsely with malicious intent. Example is an ex-wife wants to get even with her ex-husband and his new family; she could report them and put them through Hell.
Why are the reasons CPS Agents actually find so little true abuse?
1. Agents who never had children and don't understand that a few toys in the corner of the room is not a hazardous mess.
2. Agents are not trained in real evidence recognition. In fact, no Agent in CPS has any training in evidence, the Constitution or criminal justice. They are given anywhere from 3 to 6 months of training, being taught that it is ok to break into a Home without probable cause or exigent circumstances.
3. Agents are trained to use subjective speculation and not objective factual reporting.
4. The Agents do not get psychological evaluations. A number of Agents who were abused as a child themselves see abuse in every home they go into, even if it's not there.
5. Most States do not require Agents to have a degree in Social Sciences. Any degree will do, doesn't even have to be related to the field.
6. The Agency has no checks and balances. A field Agent can lie to a judge or police officer with absolutely no proof and have it entered as factual evidence in a court of law!
7. Agents are trained to believe they are immune from the authority of the First Amendment, Fourth Amendment, Fifth Amendment, Sixth Amendment and Fourteenth Amendment. They violate this in every investigation done nationwide.
24. America for Americans in Maryland
As Americans we are tired of giving illegal immigrants our jobs, our education, our healthcare and degrading citizenship in our country.
25. Drilling for Oil in The Gulf Must STOP
As you are all aware BP recently had a major disaster that has caused millions of tonnes of oil to spill into the Gulf and this is destroying everything it engulfs.
BP also stated before this horrendous incident that this type of accident could never happen.
So why then did it happen?
26. Idaho against Illegal Immigration
80 percent of the people agree with tougher immigration laws.
Illegal immigrant problem costs the state $200 million a year.
4,380 Americans murdered annually by illegal aliens.
397B - cost of welfare and other social services provided to ILLEGAL
Immigrants.
22.7M ILLEGALS in USA NOW.
22.2M... are MEXICAN ILLEGALS (579,000 are non-Mexican ILLEGALS).
$163.7B - cost of educated k-12 ILLEGAL Immigrant Children.
$24.3B - cost of incarceration of ILLEGALS.
11.6M - Number of skilled jobs provided to ILLEGALS.
Several thousands of senseless deaths could have been prevented if our federal, state and local law enforcement would enforce our immigration laws and secure the border.
27. Public access website to sex offender registry in Canada
We are asking the Canadian Federal Government, to open the sex offender registry to the Canadian public via a website.
We feel that it is in our children's safety, that we as parents and caregivers, know where pedophiles reside.
28. Against The Arizona Immigration Law SB1070
Arizona ha passed a law that people think is racial profiling, to prevent this action from happening with in the us i want to start a petition to send it to the supreme court and the presidentt.
Hopefully the supreme court names it unconstitutional and the president can realize that illegal immigrants are here to make our country better, work and support this country not harm it and maybe the president may pass a law to help the immigrants.
29. Ask the Commonwealth to declare its stand on Anti-Homosexual laws
The Commonwealth has been silence on the issues of Lesbians, Gay, Bisexual & Trangendered (LGBT) people's persecutions and discrimination going on in many of its member-countries. Gay people in these countries are being denied access to healthcare, arrested and jailed, sentenced to death, exposed to public and state homophobia and denied state protection.
In the last Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM 2009) held in Trinadad and Tobago on November 27-29 2009, it was disappointing and appalling that the Commonwealth turned blind eyes to the Ugandan Anti-Homosexual Bill proposing death penalty to gay people and did not issue a statement nor discuss it even when that bill was top of the agenda for HUman Rights through out the world at that time.
Also, on the case of 2 young men arrested and detained in Malawi, charged on accusation of homosexuality since December 29 2009, the Commonwealth has kept mute and made no official statement. This means that some citizens of the Commonwealth can be denied their right just because they are gay or lesbians.
This continued silence of the Commonwealth therefore sends the wrong message to these countries and the general public that the Commonwealth supports these injustice and discrimination.
Of the 53 Commonwealth member-countries, 40 still criminalise same-sex relations, mostly under anti-gay laws that were originally imposed by the British colonial government in the nineteenth century. This is disgraceful to the Commonwealth when its core principles includes equality, non-discrimination, opportunity for all, liberty of the individual and human dignity.
If the Commonwealth continue in this silence, it is not only living short of its own principles, but it is assuring these countries that they can also ignore these pillars of justice.

30. Stop passing Laws that restrict our rights as Citizens
Every day congress meets to pass new laws to restrict our rights as citizens. I believe congress has too much power. When the supreme court rule on something and congress doesn't like it they put in an amendment. I think that if the supreme court interprets something in the constitution it should be left alone not have another amendment added just to restrict Americans.
We elected a government that was governed by the people but have slowly slipped away from that we have so much corruption in our government today. We have to stop it. All registered voters please sign my petition.
