1. Bring back larger sized g-strings/thongs to variety stores!
Up until 18 months ago larger sized (sizes 18, 20, 22, 24 & 26) G-string/ Thongs were available within the large variety stores of Big-W, Target and K-Mart.
Currently this line of product has been removed from sale; only bikini style and other full coverage styles are available. This doesn't always suit the larger, more amply sized, bottom and has left a sub-sect of society having to source from Overseas; and pay additionally.
We ask for these stores to bring back this line of underwear, whenever they were in stores they always sold out, so obviously there is a market for the product!
STOP THIS WAR! Petition
Sign this Petition to oppose this war! Something must be done about this now.
Too many soldiers are dying, and many are getting captured and murdered. We
have larger concerns than war. Bush is not making the right decisions, and
does not listen to his own nation. We can’t win this war. We must fight other
wars like pollution, global warming, AIDS and hunger around the world. Did you
know that if we used all the spending money from this war, we would have
enough to end world hunger? So why are we still fighting?! We spend about
31% on current military, which is about $727 billion.* Sign it today!
3. Official Grievance Against the College Republicans at the College of Saint Catherine
The College Republican's Anti-Affirmative Action Bake Sale, entitled "Affirmative Action is a Negative Reaction: Only Racists Consider Race" in the CdC Atrium on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, was an extreme display of white privilege and racist representation. We oppose the hypocrisy of a bake sale that supported this slogan, rhetoric and action.
What happened that day was racism—racism that is part of a larger systemic problem in our society. The language and action taken by the College Republicans are to be taken very seriously, as their position threatens and oppresses the rights and livelihoods of those whose social locations are already marginalized in our society—women, people of Color, the working class and the poor. This event led numerous students to feel unwelcomed, unwanted and unsafe.
Do not be confused. Their campaign that day was not independent of a larger systemic movement that supports and controls the White Supremacist Capitalist Patriarchy.
Thank you for signing the petition asap and forwarding it on to others to build support for this social movement.
Becky McDonald and Kris Schmitz, CSC students

We demand immediate repair of the alley between 143rd and 144th street in Posen, Il. Several large pot holes exist and are becomming larger.
These potholes make it difficult to drive through the alley to garages and may cause damage to cars.
