2. Ban Pamper's Products

Ban Pampers Products.
Pampers/Proctor & Gamble has started a controversial ad campaign promoting tetanus shots through Unicef. They are donating .05 cents from the sale of their diapers and wipes, with a *Target* of giving 45 millions neonatal tetanus shots to pregnant women, mostly in poor, underdeveloped countries.

Tetanus shots are dangerous, and the adjuvants in them are known to cross the placenta and brain barriers. It is my intention for P&G to stop this damaging campaign that may contribute to harming pregnant women, with these controversial shots, as well as the potential to harm their unborn babies, with birth defects, spontaneous abortions, and possible stealth ingredients to sterilize, hidden in these tetanus shots. That has happened in the past and is well documented!
NOTE: More men than women contract tetanus. And if consenting adults want to get a normal tetanus shot, at least let the pregnant women give birth before offering these free vaccines. Free is a shoddy way to Mandate global vaccinations!. Uninformed is not truthful consent.
Give them the opportunity to know and understand the Full Information/insert label warnings, cautions, side effects etc., in order for them to make that "Informed" Choice and decision

Proctor & Gamble does not apprear to be overly concerned about popular opinion with this current and controversial vaccine ad campaign, as per their nebulous response to me that they feel they are doing a good thing. Their timing with this campaign is not good, giving the growing concern about vaccine dangers, efficacy, injuries, autism and deaths. In their continued progression of this campaign, with what they say is their interest in saving women and babies, they may well be doing their part in contributing to harming and killing 45 million pregnant women and/or their unborn children.
Unicef's other various vaccine programs, may contribute to harming millions more.

It is the feeling of this petitioner that P&G could be spending those donations in a more positive, purposeful light. That being: donations to research for autism spectrum, vaccine dangers/injury awareness, and information about rights NOT to vaccinate. Or to give these pregnant women, food, vitamens, better water sources and sanitation, as well as prenatal care.
At the very least, give THEM diapers and wipes, NOT Vaccines!
Vaccines are an iffy science, with little proof that they protect against any disease. With vaccines components given unnaturally thru vaccines, the studies are poor in understanding damages that can occur. and the adjuvants in them that can cause adverse reactions, especially in infants, such as encephalitis, seizures, serious site infections and other life-long neurological and autoimmune diseases, not to mention the high incidents of vaccine-induced infant mortality.

The tetanus vaccine is no more effective than any of the others. It also is counterproductive. It will INCREASE, Not Decrease the risk of tetanus, and many people actually get tetanus from the vaccines. Read Link.

What Unicef is giving is called Neonatal tetanus vaccines. They are not even the standard tetanus shot one gets after stepping on a rusty nail. More info on these.

3. Stop Cosmetic Animal Testing

March 28, 2006

Cosmetic Testing is not only inhumane but inaccurate. Cosmetic Tests are done on small animals such as Rabbits, Mice, and Guinea Pigs. Many tests are preformed on these animals. Two of the main Cosmetic tests preformed are Eye and Skin irritancy tests.

In Skin irritancy tests they test whether a substance irritates the skin. Sections of the animals' backs are shaved and sometimes abraded (cut). The substance is applied to the skin and covered with gauze patches, usually for 4 hours. Researchers then look for signs of redness, inflammation, weeping or scabs to determine how irritating the substance is. An irritating product can make the skin red raw, which is obviously very painful.

Rabbits are usually used for this test. At the end of the test they are killed.

The Draize Eye Irritancy Test is the traditional method for testing irritation and damage to the eye is the Draize test. The test substance is placed in the eyes of conscious rabbits, who are either held in stocks or have plastic collars around their neck so that they can't rub their eyes with their paws.

The rabbits are observed for 3 days, although if there is damage to the eye they may be observed for up to 21 days to see how long it takes for the injury to heal. Researchers look for signs of redness, swelling, discharge and ulceration to determine how irritating the substance is. The rabbits are killed at the end of the test.

The outer layer of the eye, the cornea, is one of the most sensitive tissues in the body. It is richly supplied with nerve endings, which is why any irritation or damage is extremely painful. Everyone knows how uncomfortable it is to get something like shampoo or onion in the eye. We quickly wash it out.

In comparison, the suffering of rabbits is greater, firstly because some the substances tested are more irritating, and secondly because the rabbits can't wash their eyes.

Eye irritancy tests can be inaccurate though. Here are the reasons why:
-Rabbits have a third eyelid
-rabbits produce less tear fluid to wash away irritants
-rabbits have a more alkaline eye
-rabbits have a thinner cornea

So if companies were smart enough they would take all these things into consideration. Because Rabbits have so many things different from humans that their tests wouldn't show how exactly it would affect a human.

5. Regulate Underage Internet Gambling

We have all heard about the growing number of gamblers over these past few years. This is largely due to the growing trend in internet gambling. However, if it is illegal for anyone under 21 to gamble, why are teenagers being able to sign up, open an account, and play online for real money? However, there are some sites out there with software that can detect a real person's age, so why don't they ALL implenment this software? This law should be set straight across the board. There is no question that teens are at the most risk of falling into the habit of internet gambling. Let's put a stop to this before it gets worse!

The government today is looking to prohibit all internet gambling in the U.S., however this will cause more harm than good. We saw it happen in the 1920s when alcohol was prohibited/banned. It will just drive the industry into an illegal criminal element through underground markets. So instead of banning internet gambling altogether, we should have all gambling sites licensed and regulated so that they provide a fair, honest, and reputable atmosphere.

Included in this regulation should provide all gambling sites to implement the software that can detect a real person's age.

6. Stop Procter & Gamble

Procter & Gamble may be a world wide organisation, but this doesn't stop them mistreating animals. Animals can't speak out to and they need someone to talk for them about the cruelty they suffer. This is where we come in.

We can stop cosmetics being put on pigs, dogs being given drugs and to stop these people from squirting shampoo in the animals eyes and throats. Most of the animals in the labs only know the walk from the small cage they are kept in to the testing lab. They have no space and no comfort, they don't have any affection and most haven't being further than a lab! So please sign this.

8. STOP Proctor & Gamble's Cruel Animal Tests

Tell Proctor & Gamble :
As long as animals die YOU won't buy!
P&G has blinded and poisoned thousands of animals to test deodorants, hair care products, laundry detergents, toothpastes, and other products.
To test products companies typically 'DRIP' test substances in the eyes of restrained animals, as dogs, cats, and rabbits and force chemicals down their throats.
Such poisoning can cause vomiting bleeding from the nose and mouth, and death.

NO LAW requires these tests !!!

Please help us and send the message to P&G that it is cruel and needless use of animals MUST STOP!

REFUSE to buy P&G products:
Deodorant: Old Spice, Secret, Sure
Diapers/baby care: Baby fresh, Pampers, Luvs.
Food: Crisco, Eagle snacks, Folgers, Pringles, Sunny Delight.
Fragrances: Giorgio, Hugo Boss, Red, Wings, Old spice.

10. End Procter & Gamble's Cruel Animal Testing

In P&G's cosmetic & household product testing, caustic chemicals are forced into rabbits' eyes & applied to their raw, shaved skin. Laboratory workers lock the rabbits in restraining devices so they are unable to move while chemicals burn into their eyes & skin.

The rabbits are given no sedatives or pain killers to ease their suffering. They sometimes break their necks & backs in a desperate struggle to get away.

Those who survive are used again ... until they are finally killed.

P&G's innocent victims include rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, & ferrets.
Even thought these tests are not required by law.

P&G insists on continuing this torture.

P&G claims to be a world leader in researching humane testing methods.

But the reality is that P&G spends more money in seven days on advertising than it has spent in 11 years on alternatives to painful & lethal animal tests.

These cruel & unnecessary experiments are paid for with profits from the sales of P&G products.

Every bottle of Pantene or Dawn,
every tube of Crest, every packet of Tampax tampons, every box of Tide, Bounce or Bold, every roll of Bounty,
& every can of IAMS or Eukanuba that is purchased means more money for painful experiments.

We think you would agree-- going without P&G products is a small price to pay to end animal suffering.

Fortunately, there are many safe, effective & humane alternatives to P&G's Tide of Torture.

Hundreds of companies develop, manufacture & sell safe consumer products without animal testing.
They use newer, more effective methods such as human cell cultures, chemical tests & computer models or simply use the thousands of ingredients that have been in use for years.

Million of Americans choose to purchase their consumer products from companies that do not harm or kill animals.

By buying cruelty-free, you support the growing trend toward kinder & more effective saftey testing. You send a message to P&G that when they hurt animals, they hurt their profits.
Your purchasing decisions make a difference!

P&G says animal tests provide product saftey.

Physicians disagree.

"As an emergency room physician who has treated poisoning & exposures to dangerous products, I disagree with the contention that animal tests are necessary to determine the safety of cosmetic & household products.

Animal tests does not protect consumers from unsafe products. In my 15 years as an emergency room physician, I have never found the results of an animal test to be of any benefit in guiding the treatment of patients who have been poisoned.

Animal tests provide only the illusion of safety, because of the significant anatomical & physiological difference between animals & humans.

I call upon Procter & Gamble to join the ever-growing list of responsible companies that have declared an immediate moratorium on animal-based product testing."
