This is Easy! Tebow is Forbes Most Influential Athlete in the World and has the ability to fill stadium seats and produce wins for Any Team in the NFL given the chance. It is time to stop hiding from the Truth and to let Fate decide.
Fate has chosen Tebow and it is High Time to allow Fate to Succeed in this Sport. It's not always what some scout has to say. What About Tebow's Combine where he far out performed a very good circle of talented QB's in the draft? What about Tebow's Ability to overcome all the critics and Win despite the constant doubt and Flat Out Jealousy of those whom prefer to stand in the LimeLight over Tebow!
Tebow's Light Cannot be just Turned off because it is a light that is magnified by the Grass Roots movement of the people whom love him and love what he is about, these same people believe in him and believe that he has the potential to be one of the Greatest NFL Players of All Time!
2. Tell Marco Rubio To Stop Supporting Amnesty
Whereas, Marco Rubio has disappointed his entire conservative voter base with his troubling push of amnesty for illegal aliens in recent immigration reform legislation.
Whereas, Rubio has misled the public about the bill's costly and explosive contents, as he has not even read the bill and won't agree to share it with the public.
Whereas, Rubio has lost my support by endorsing a "free pass" for illegal immigrants -- a policy that is fiscally, culturally, and lawfully irresponsible. Senator, your encouragement of illegal amnesty is against our values, and is evidence that you mislead constituents to believe you'd vote against the very legislation you're selling today if you were to be elected.
3. Support a Christian music fest in Coconut Creek, FL
For citizens of South FL, the closest Christian music festivals there have ever been are Rock the Universe at Universal Orlando and Night of Joy at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
There are too many fests that are completely out-of-state, including Sonshine Fest in Minnesota, Alive Fest in Ohio, and Uprise Fest in Pennsylvania.
4. Petition for Floridians to Secede from the Union
Due to the results of the Presidential Election of 2012,
many God fearing Americans believe that the Obama Administration is directing our nation toward a destructive path.
The following issues are toublesome : Same - Sex Marriages, Legalized Marijuana, Abortion, Government Healthcare and Entitlements.
5. Safe Road access into West Stonebridge Community
Work is about to begin on Phase 1 Financial Project ID: 197534-2-52-01 from north of I-4 to Barry Road, Davenport. There is great concern about the number of accidents which are occurring at the intersection of the 4 Corners Community.
To gain access to West Stonebridge whilst travelling north there is a need to perform a U-Turn at the Four Corners intersection which is extremely dangerous due to a dip on the US 27 where traffic travelling south cannot be clearly seen until it comes over the top of the crest of the dip.
There have been a number of accidents at the point and unfortunately some have been fatal. There is now going to be extensive road works on US27 taking it from 4 lanes to 6 making it more dangerous to perform a U Turn.
There are no plans to make this stretch of road safer by putting traffic lights at the Four Corners intersection or creating an access slip road into West Stonebridge.
6. Allowing Ground and Pound in Florida Amateur Mixed Martial Arts
Florida Boxing Commission passed the ruling to allow Amateur Mixed Martial Arts back in Florida on July 7, 2010. Rules and regulations state that ground and pound is not allowed in amateur mixed martial arts.
The definition of ground and pound is defined as to describe a fighting style or technic. To take one's opponent to the ground, establish a dominant position. Usually a top position (i.e., mount, side mount, half mount, etc. can also be used while in one's "guard"). Reign down closed fist punches to the head while on the ground. After amateur mixed martial arts fighters have attained 5 verifiable amateur fights in Florida, they qualify to become Professional fighters.
The issue we have is that without amateur fighters gaining any experience on ground and pound before going Pro, we the (Association) feel it is very dangerous on these fighters entering Professional status without exercising the experience.
A solution that can be made is to revise this particular rule and that once the Amateur fighters have reached 5 amateur mixed martial arts fights, they become eligible to become semi professional, or advanced amateur fighters, and to allow them to experience ground and pound like it is at the Professional level. All protection rules of 7 oz gloves and shin guards remain the same.
7. Tell Romney: Choose Rubio for Vice President
Senator Marco Rubio is a rock-solid conservative. We know where he stands. He will not only deliver Florida, but also the the votes of many young Latinos who see in Rubio their own American Dream.
Marco Rubio is ready to be President, which after nearly four years cannot be said of Barack Obama. Marco Rubio brings to the ticket leadership, optimism, and an American story not seen in a candidate since Ronald Reagan. Viva Rubio!
8. Transformers The Ride; Orlando Florida; Make it happen
Universal Studios as of this point has yet to announce any confirmation on plans for a Transformers the Ride to come to Universal Studios Orlando.
All evidence so far is showing that the park is producing more rides and other themed attractions which are aimed at a younger audience. While the other two parks Singapore and Hollywood have got the ride.
There is a very popular audience that is behind the Transformers franchise as it has been proven in many news reports that the Hollywood ride has proven popular with people who have attendees at the park even in its first week of opening.
As everyone knows Florida is one of the main holiday spots in the whole of America and this would help to improve tourism and help attracted people that are not able to attend in the theme park in California.
5 Points Park was designed to be the central focus for activity in downtown Sarasota.
As a community we want to see live music and streets filled with activity helping our neighborhood businesses. Help us stop a few condo owners from stopping live entertainment in our public park.
***As of May 18, 2012 Principal Loftus is allowing clubs who purchased cords wear them at graduation. Thank you to all who signed.***
Graduation cords are a representation of a student's accomplishments throughout high school. Cords are earned by students who work harder and excel in a certain field where others are simply satisfactory.
At Colonial High School there are over 30 clubs. Whether a club meets under similar interests or to devote hours to community service, a cord is earned and well deserved.
It is absurd to say multiple cords devalue honor societies. The honor societies are privileged to a white gown no other club is awarded. Understandably, everyone cannot receive a cord for doing just anything. Therefore, instead of prohibiting all non-honor cords, setting a high standard to receive a cord will allow all achievements to be recognized at graduation.
Furthermore, it is inconsiderate to inform the student body of this new policy last minute after several clubs have already purchased cords with Mr. Loftus' approval - not to mention, students spent all year to go above and beyond to receive their award for extracurricular activities.
Parents and other concerned persons can contact Principal Loftus at 407-482-6301.
11. Legalize same sex marriage in Florida
Everyone should have the right to marry the one they love. I know in most religions that it's a sin, but change is good and I don't think god is going to hate someone who loves another human.
Denying the lgbtv community is a violation of religious freedom. (Civil and religious marriages are two separate institutions). Marriage benefits (such as joint ownership, medical decision-making capacity) should be available to all couples. Homosexuality is an accepted lifestyle nowadays with most evidence strongly supporting biological causation. Denying these marriages is a form of minority discrimination. It does not hurt society or anyone in particular.
The only thing that should matter is love. The number of child adoptions should increase since gays cannot pro-create. It encourage people to have strong family values and give up high-risk sexual lifestyles. The same financial benefits that ally to man-woman marriages apply to same-sex marriage.
The school year is traditionally September to June.
Here in Florida our children are heading back to school in the middle of SUMMER!
School should begin shortly after or just before Labor Day.
Let's take summer back for our kids!
We as a community want our county services people to do fact finding than tell us why our lake is going down.
Our major concerns are:
1) There are No fire hydrants
2) during drought should the golf course be pumping water?
14. Abolish the death penalty in Florida
The death penalty has become time consuming, cost-inefficient and has had no clear effect on the deterrence of crime. In a time of economic recovery, the call to abolish a wasteful punishment is way past due.
It is time we stop allowing the government to put our budget in the death penalty and start putting it into education and health care.
15. Boycott Florida - Repeal Stand Your Ground Law
Florida's so-called Stand Your Ground law has become a license to kill. It makes Florida an unsafe destination for tourists, who can be gunned down in cold blood, without consequence.
The recent case of Trayvon Martin shows how this law promotes senseless and possibly racially motivated killings. Tourists should boycott Florida until this law is repealed.
16. Stop Slashing Florida's Minimum Wage
The bill under consideration by the state's tourism and commerce committee, SPB 7210, would allow restaurants to ditch the state's minimum wage for servers in favor of the lower, federal one, provided the businesses guarantee that their workers will earn at least $9.98 per hour after tips.
If the bill were passed, servers would end up taking home less pay, and customers would be paying a greater share of the salary burden.
17. Hillsborough County Citizens for Backyard Poultry

Green practices sweep the nation and our individual communities, yet we have found that there is at least one useful practice that is not allowed in Hillsborough County, backyard poultry keeping.
Backyard poultry keeping is not permitted for residentially zoned properties in the unincorporated portions of Hillsborough County even though it is allowed in the Cities. Backyard Bee Keeping is even allowed but not the raising of the much safer chicken.
We believe that allowing backyard poultry in Hillsborough County will promote individual sustainability practices and public welfare without sacrificing the safety or health of the citizens in our county.
18. End the long process to bad renter evictions in Florida
In Florida, renters have too many rights. Rights that extend above the landlord. The eviction process should only take 1-2 weeks if the renter does not pay. They should not be allowed to stay in a property for free until the courts decide whether or not to evict them.
Presently, to delay matters, renters only need to respond without paying any money to stay longer in a home. Where is the justice in this? A simple response to the court can delay getting them out for another few weeks. Meanwhile, they can do as much damage to your property as they like and not be responsible. Again, where is the justice in this? Florida courts need to be more proactive in the eviction process.
Fort Myers courts, in general need to listen to landlords when they show up to court on time and the renter does not. In other states when a renter does not show up for court they are evicted and not given a second chance. Why is it in Flroida they are given a second chance?
19. Stop The Mascotte Landfill
The Mascotte City Council is hearing a proposal to build a landfill on 250 acres of environmentally sensitive land. The land borders on farms and residential areas.
The proposal has already passed a first reading, and is up for a second vote on October 3rd at the City Council meeting. They are in a rush to pass this to pay for past bad financial decisions, but the numbers don't add up. There are other alternatives to solve the city's financial difficulties, like consolidating services with neighboring towns.
We feel the requested site imposes a severe threat ti the health and welfare of our families, and that approval of such a site and plan is reckless and dangerous action by the commissioners.
20. More reliable "Pest Control" services for Windrift Apartments
Upon residing in my Windrift Apartment roaches, as well as other pests, have become a constant nuisance. I have lived on the premises for 9 months now and my lease and agreement is up on October 3, 2011.
I have made several attempts to resolve the issue to no avail. Not only to roaches occupy the home but also ear-wigs, waterbugs, knats, and worms.
Whereas:
Allen West is a man of unusual honesty, integrity, intelligence, education, common sense and sound judgment.
Allen West is a man of profoundly Judeo-Christian values. He is strongly pro-life. He is strongly pro-Israel. He correctly understands Islam and the threat it poses to America.
He is beholden to no special interest group. He would carry out the duties of his office in the best interests of America.
22. Stop the Fluoridation of Gainesville's drinking water
Water fluoridation is an outdated practice that carries with it serious health risks and offers little to no benefit. Current studies clearly demonstrate that that populations living in communities with fluoridated water are showing dangerously high levels of dental fluorosis, the physical manifestation of systemic fluoride toxicity.
This medicine comes with no control as to how much each individual is receiving. People who depend on high water intake such as infants on formula and athletes are consuming much more fluoride than someone that is older and more sedentary. This puts them at higher risk of fluorosis which has a myriad of chronic and debilitating symptoms. Municipalities with or without fluoridated water show statistically equivalent tooth decay rates.
Water fluoridation also carries serious ethical and legal issues. First and foremost citizens of Gainesville are being forced to ingest a medicine without their consent and many without the knowledge of it. There are also no warnings provided by GRU or the city alerting mothers to not use tap water for infant formula., something the CDC is advising Americans.
There are much better alternatives to water fluoridation. Tooth decay is not caused by lack of water fluoridation. It is caused by poor diet and dental hygiene. Proper dental hygiene should be taught in schools and made part of the daily routine in elementary schools. If in fact an individual needs fluoride supplementation, they can pursue that treatment individually or be prescribed a treatment plan by a dentist.
23. Support a registry of domestic violence convictions in Florida
The domestic violence problem needs more attention in our nation. Unfortunately though, it’s not been nearly enough to get it under control.
Time and time again, the court system, including DA’s, lawyers and judges have exhibited nearly collusion with the perpetrators by their real lack of holding the perpetrators fully responsible for their actions and choices by issuing only what amounts to a slap on the wrist and very little real accountability of the perpetrators of the crimes.
Even if they are found guilty, few are ever held fully accountable for their violent atrocities against their spouses and by the children exposed to their example, by them being able to negotiate plea deals and receiving a drastically reduced sentences or early outs. The victims are left confused, trampled and mostly devastated by what happens. They are essentially re-victimized by the system a second time. It sends out the very worst and absolutely the wrong message to those who do these acts, to their significant others, to the children who also see this and to all others.
Let all of us stand up and demand that abusers are held accountable for their actions. We need to stop the cycle and teach all of our children how to disagree with people in our lives without using abusive tactics.
As bullying is an offshoot of the abusive trait found in today’s society, let us make the abusers and bullies responsible for the choices that they make in regard to how they treat their family members and others. Battering is always an intentional behavior.
24. Concealed Carry on Florida's Campuses
Every student has the right to protect themselves on or off campus.
25. National Safe Seafood Council's Petition for Testing
Since the BP Oil Disaster, America's Gulf seafood has been in question. As Americans watched the millions gallons of oil pouring into the Gulf of Mexico in horror, those businesses and families that depend on the Gulf for their livelihoods held their breath.
While the people of the Gulf had seen oil spills before, the BP Oil Spill would change the environment and their lives for generations to come. It seems that Washington DC thinks Americans are simply naive and that be issuing a few press releases and some commercials that everything will be fine. Well Mr. President, I for one can say that is not good enough.
More needs to be done and it needs to be done right now before these hard working people, who want only to work for their money, become another statistic in what history is sure call America's worst nightmare. Do you feel safe Mr. President feeding this seafood to your children and what it may do to them on a cellular level? Do you fear what it may do to your grand children because that is what "we the people" fear the most!
There seems to be only one organization that has made a commitment to any kind of stand on this issue. The NationalSafe SeafoodCouncil.com has been created by some of the same people effected by this disaster and they are committed to see this through until funding is provided for proper long term testing.
26. Petition to Deny Parole for Cop Killer Thomas Desherlia
Deputy Marshal Parker was shot after responding to a report of a man driving over a bulkhead at the St. Augustine Beach pier. Upon arrival to the pier he was directed to a nearby hotel where witnesses said the driver had gone.
He arrived at the hotel and made contact with the subject. He obtained the man's identification and directed him to come back to the patrol car so he could drive him back to the location of where the car drove off the pier. As the man got into the passenger door he suddenly pulled out a handgun and opened fire, striking Deputy Marshal Parker in the neck. Despite being mortally wounded, Deputy Marshal Parker was able to pull the patrol car around the hotel. The suspect returned to the scene moments later, pulled Deputy Marshal Parker from the vehicle and then drove away in the patrol car.
Unbeknownst to Deputy Marshal Parker, the suspect was wanted for a bank robbery in Iowa and a double murder of security officers in Alabama. The man had inadvertently given Deputy Marshal Parker his real identification and opened fire when he realized that his identity would be revealed.
27. Petition to Deny Parole for Cop Killer Sammie Lee Mathis
Detective Sullivan was shot and killed while conducting an undercover drug buy with his partner. Detective Sullivan was the money man in the operation while his partner attempted to purchase the drugs. As Detective Sullivan sat in a pickup truck one of the suspects ambushed him, stole the money, and fled.
The shooter was apprehended in Tampa a short time later and sentenced to life. His accomplice was apprehended in Spain several years later and extradited back to Florida where he was also sentenced to life.
Detective Sullivan had been with the agency for six years and was survived by his wife, parents, two brothers, sister and nephew.
28. Support the relief and help efforts for the Gulf Oil spill
I want relief for the Gulf Oil Spill as it is killing our wildlife and hurting our local fishermen and their families.
The oil spill is currently not under control.
It makes me mad that relief efforts can be made to Haiti and other countries so quick when right here in our own country our Wildlife is currently dying due to this Oil spill currently in the Gulf of Mexico.
29. Declare the Gulf Region a Disaster Area!!
British Petroleum Oil Company, or BP had an oil rig explode off the coast of Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico which led to a huge oil spill that is still currently flowing as of the date of this petition.
President Obama needs to declare the region a disaster area and bring aid to animals and tourism in the area, as well as make sure that the clean up begins NOW!!!
Go after BP Mr. Obama!
30. BP's president should resign
The Gulf spill has been occurring over too long a period with only failed attempts to control the massive leak.
There was a leaky valve that was known to have existed for years on the well. Why wasn't that repaired?
