4. Production of Final Four Episodes of Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles

In 1999, Sony Pictures produced the computer-animated series “Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles”, which drew elements both from Robert Heinlein’s 1959 novel, and Paul Verhoeven’s 1997 film adaptation, appealing to the fans of book and film alike.

The series quickly gained a strong following, receiving praise from numerous science-fiction and television magazines, winning an Emmy, and being nominated for several other awards.

However, due to time and money constraints, four key episodes representing the dramatic final bend of the final story-arc were halted in mid-production, and replaced with four stand-alone clip-shows, which consisted mostly of recycled animation. But according to producer Audu Paden, the producers felt their originally planned stories were so strong, a case could be made for restoring them at a later time.

That time is now. The four missing episodes are very close to completion. The writing and scripting are done; the story’s ending is decided. The voice actors have already recorded the necessary dialogue. Storyboards and animatics lay ready to be referenced by animators and composers for a final product that can only provide a profitable boost to the Starship Troopers franchise.

Roughnecks endures as one of the best-written and most outstanding animated series television has ever seen. Its compelling story and powerful themes have touched the hearts of viewers in over thirty countries. Sony Pictures can no longer leave their impressive work unfinished, but must see it through to completion, thus stimulating their own revenue, and providing their fans with the long-awaited closure of this beloved series.

9. More Veronica Mars

Veronica Mars is a critically-acclaimed teen drama/mystery-neo-noir series that premiered on UPN on September 22, 2004, airing its first two seasons on the network before moving to The CW Television Network on October 3, 2006.

The final two episodes of Season 3 aired on May 22, 2007. The show stars Kristen Bell as the title character: a student, progressing from high school to college during the series, who moonlights as a private investigator under the wing of her detective father. Said to be "a little bit Buffy and a little bit Bogart", the show balances murder mystery, high school and college drama, and social commentary with sarcasm and off-beat humor.

The third season of Veronica Mars premiered in the United States and Canada on October 3, 2006, at 9 pm ET/PT on The CW and Sun TV (ET only) respectively, a time slot that remained unchanged throughout the season. The season featured two mystery arcs — one presented from its October season debut until the end of November, the other from late January 2007 until the end of February.

On March 6, 2007, Veronica Mars was put on hiatus for eight weeks in favor of the new reality show Pussycat Dolls Present, which aired in that time slot for its entire eight-episode run. Veronica Mars returned with the final five episodes on May 1, 2007.

When the CW Network announced its 2007–2008 fall schedule on May 17, 2007, Veronica Mars was not included. On June 11, 2007, series creator Rob Thomas confirmed that Veronica Mars had officially been canceled by the CW.

Though talks had been reported between Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell and The CW's Dawn Ostroff about a new series, it is unclear if this would be related to Mars or not.

Thomas has stated that he is interested in writing a feature film based on the series, in the interests of providing closure to the storylines and character arcs. He created a trailer that takes place years after the third season ends, with the working title "Veronica in the FBI". It is due to be released on the Veronica Mars third season DVD.

As well as the feature film possibility, there have been talks of a Veronica Mars comic book series in the vein of Joss Whedon's Buffy Season Eight.

11. Fourth Season of Hikaru no Go

I think that Hikaru no Go should have a fourth season or if not at least an ova b/c there are lots of other people who love the series and as you know there are only a total of 75 episodes plus a new year special.

I think the story should continue, I'm sure that lots of people would like to know how the tournament for the Hokuto Cup, a match between Japan, Korea, and China happens, where Hikaru will be up once again against Su Young, Hikaru, Yashiro, and Touya representing Japan, as well as see how Hikaru works to reach Touya and the divine move.

There's still so much to that can be added to the series.

12. Bring back Carnivale

A year ago HBO canceled Carnivale. A very beautiful, interesting, and original television series. It lasted for only two seasons before it was discontinued.

No one is exactly sure why that is, but there are some clues which are fairly well known which could've contributed to their decision. One, the show was very expensive to film. Especially the opening credits. Two, some guy tried to sue them for 'stealing' his idea from an obscurely named book..which the courts ruled false. The third was, we believe, that HBO did not see that Carnivale was watched ENOUGH, despite the millions of ratings recieved due to the lack of folks online that talked about it.

I believe that, if we can get at the very least a million signers of this petition that we will be able to convince HBO that the show is worth bringing back. More signers are of course, very welcome.

13. As If on DVD!!

April 7, 2006

For many As If fans, the show reached its ending in yeah 2004. Viewers watching in Latin America and on Sattelite in the UK have seen the last of the gang.

The show has now finished on most channels around the world, but you still may be able to find repeats if you look hard in the schedules.

As If was a ground-breaking British drama, following the exciting lives of six young adults living in London. The popular show has now finished filming after 76 action packed episodes.

Each episode was considered ground breaking and extremely unique. The show created a cult following around the world. The drama's success is partly because of the fantastic soundtrack and modern style of filming; flashbacks, dodgy camerawork and sureal sequences are extremely frequent in all of the individual 30-minute long episodes.

Jamie, Sooz , Nicki, Alex, Sasha and Rob are the six teenagers featured in this hit teen drama. Each episode of As If shows the story from of characters point of view, allowing the viewers to learn their thoughts and personal feelings on the drama unfolding around them.

As If has gained cult following all over the world, and is one of the most popular and highly rated teen drama's ever.

15. Make New Episodes Of Old School Nickelodeon Shows

February 21, 2006

We kids are happy about Nickelodeon making an old school Nick channel called Nicktoons Network but we are tired of seeing re-runs.

Shows like Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, The Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold!, etc. need to have new episodes. Rocko's Modern Life lasted from 1993 to 1996 , only 3 years. Ren & Stimpy lasted from 1991 to 1996, only 5 years.

The Angry Beavers lasted from 1997 to New Year's Day 2006, almost 9 years. Hey Arnold! lasted from 1996 to 2004, almost 8 years. So, as you can see, by the numbers, these TV shows have NOT lasted as long as they should be.

This petition is sent to Nick and if we don't get any signatures then they can't make new shows, so please take a moment to sign. I appreciate your help.

19. New Episodes Of Rockos Modern Life

Dear Rocko Fans,

Do you love Rockos Modern Life?

If so I know that you are happy that the new Nicktoons channel is showing re-runs of Rocko. But I think, why not get new episodes? Rocko creator Joe Murray has been making many new shows (the latest being Camp Lazlo on Cartoon Network) but they all suck. To me, Rockos Modern Life was the standard show that all shows tried to life up to. I've contacted the creator of a Rocko website (Dr. Caleb Sayre) that is helping me make a 1,000,000 letter drive to Nickelodeon to get new episodes of Rocko. By the way, Calebs website is at

http://rockoproject.tripod.com

Please go to it and check it out. If you want new episodes of Rocko, sign the petition, write letters to Nickelodeon, and tell your friends to do the same. You can also go to www.joemurraystudios.com and e-mail Rocko creator Joe Murray about making new episodes. I, also, have made my own website. It is at

http://keyreceiver7.tripod.com

Please help us get new episodes of (in my opinion) Nickeldeon's greatest show of all time, and maybe check out signing petitions on getting new episodes or bringing back other Nick classics.

21. Bring Back Mucha Lucha!

This is a petition to save the show !Mucha Lucha! before it gets 100% deleted. It can make pure new episodes on Cartoon Network and that'd be cool for the Mucha Lucha fans, so this is the show description ...

Show description ...

"¡Mucha Lucha! is an over-the-top comedy-adventure about honor, family, tradition... and donuts. The series explores the Latino cultural phenomenon known as "Lucha Libre."

In a world where no one removes their colorful mask ever and success depends on having a "signature move," three mascaritas - Rikochet, Buena Girl and The Flea - study and live the "Code of Masked Wrestling" and go to school at the Formost World-Renowned International School of Lucha. This bold comedy combines irreverent humor and visually dynamic fantasy-action in two fast-paced 11-minute episodes and is the first-ever all-flash animated series on broadcast television."

24. Save Point Pleasant !!

This is a petition that I'm starting in the hopes that Fox won't be stupid and cancel this amazing show. I am getting tired of getting hooked on shows only to have them taken off the air. So even though Point Pleasant has only had six episodes on I decided to take action and try to keep this show on the air.

I hope that others will sign this and join me in the fight to keep this show on the air. Fox is on shaky ground with me because I'm not too happy that they cancelled Firefly created by the genius Joss Whedon and cancelled Wonder Falls after three episodes which was also a great episode.

I am still waiting for Tru Calling to start which keeps on getting pushed. So it's a sad day when a person has to already think about starting a petition to save a show that has barely begone.

25. Bring Back The Angry Beavers

This petition is due for submission on Jan 1, 2006. An update will be posted in due course.

.....................................................

The Angry Beavers was a wonderful Nickelodeon Cartoon that first aired in 1997. Many people are still avid fans of the show, and many continue to watch the repeats on Nicktoons TV.

Unfortunatly, Nicktoons TV is only available to certain television services and many of the shows former fans have not seen it in years.

We are tired of Nickelodeon cancelling the shows we love and replacing it with shows we hate, yes, Nickelodeon's poor descision making is a common topic on this website, and this show was only one of a group of wonderful shows gone down the toilet because of the descisions of Nickelodeon, but this show had an inexcuseable reason for it's cancellation, and this is why.

It started in 1998 when an episode's screenplay had the words 'shut up!' in it. Now I have no idea why, but Nickelodeon chose to edit this, even though many other Nickelodeon shows have gotten away with the use of the words 'shut up', but that wasn't half of it. In 2001, this show was cancelled early because in what was tentativly going to be the last episode, 'Bye Bye Beavers', Dag, a main character on the show, was trying to convince Norbert, another main character, that they were cartoon characters, and Nick cancelled it because of this, in more detail, it suggested that this was a message to kids that the show was ending, which it was, but what Nickelodeon doesn't know is that kids probably already knew this.

By the time The Angry Beavers was in it's later years, the internet had began to become more accsessable, with TV websites who knew all about what was really going on with TV shows giving all the facts, so most kids probably found out (for an example, when Nick cancelled Spongebob, they sure kept a great secret there). And Nick was also offended for TV's, which they believed was aimed at them, policies to air alot of reruns and few new episodes. Evidence suggests that this may not have been completly directed at Nickelodeon.

Because of Nickelodeons poor judgement, this show was cancelled as Nick broke the hearts of millions of fans, we would now, in the way Nickeldeon revived Spongebob, Rugrats, and Ren & Stimpy, to revive the Angry Beavers with new episodes and airtime on the regular Nickelodeon channel, we want to see our beloved Beavers again!

27. Have FOX bring Futurama Back on the Air waves!

Futurama was never formally cancelled, nor has any new episodes have been aired.

In the summer 2003 FOX stop airing new episodes of Futurama and eventually stopped airing the show all together.
Futurama and another animated series cancelled by FOX, Family Guy were picked up by Cartoon Network and is aired on their late night block of animated series "Adult Swim".
Both series gained a large fan base and high ratings due to Adult Swim.

Between high ratings on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim and petitions from fans of Family Guy, FOX has announced that all new episode Family Guy will be brought back to FOX this fall.

If it worked for Family Guy it can definatly work for Futurama.

If you would like to see NEW episodes of Futurama on FOX, Please sign this petition. The more fans sign the better chance we have of bringing back our beloved Animated Series!

28. Foxtel bring UK soaps up to date

September 05, 2004

UK soaps Coronation Street and Eastenders are shown on Foxtels UKTV channel. Episodes currently screening are 2 years behind episodes screening in the UK. Originally these soaps were shown only 2-3 times a week in UK but now Eastenders is shown 4 times a week and Coronation Street 5 times a week.

For the last couple of years UKTV has started showing double episodes of Eastenders over the Summer to help catch up but never has it shown double eps of Coronation Street. This means it will never catch up unless extra episodes are shown.

I have started this petition as I love watching both shows and although I appreciate the double helping of Eastenders watching 1.5 hours of soap a night is a big commitment and can be overkill. It seems only logical to me to screen some episodes of both on weekends instead until both are up to date.

One idea could be to move Eastenders 4 eps to Sat & Sun 6.30pm-7.30pm whilst showing double Coronation St weekdays and when Coronation St catches up move Eastenders back to weekdays but leave Eastenders on weekends until it also catches up.

Please sign my petition below if you want to see Coronation Street and/or Eastenders brought up to date.

29. Make Nickelodeon Good Again!

Nickeldeon was once one of the best channels on television, the beggining of it's peak days began in the early 90's when it hosted such greats as Rugrats, Doug, and Rocco's Modern Life. Kablaam! was also OK, but mostly because of Action League Now, and a very good gameshow lineup. However, All of these shows were cancelled in the mid ninties, Doug continued on Disney following this, but it wasn't very good. In 1997, Rugrats was revived again, but it reeked on hard ice, and it has ever since then. However, after it's mid 90's 'Dark Years', Nick reedeemed itself by airing Hey Arnold, The Angry Beavers, and a new gameshow called Figure It Out, which kept reason for watching Nick. However, Nick also aired Oh Yeah Cartoons this year, which stunk, but that din't matter. Because in 1999, Nickeldeon would air it's greatest show yet, Spongebob Squarepants. Angry Beavers and Figure It Out were cancelled in 2000, but Nickelodeon would get even better in 2001 when it aired Fairly Oddparents and Invader ZIM. These two shows, as well as Hey Arnold and Spongebob, gave nick a best lineup it had had since the Early 90's. As well as being accompainied by Jimmy Nuetron and the then-great Chalkzone in 2002, Nickelodeon was the only channel I watched in quite some time.

But then Nick fell into another dark age.

In late 2003, Nickelodeon had a new president, her name is Cyma something, I don't know her full name, but I hate her with burning passion, it all started when Nickelodeon cancelled Invader ZIM, but the worst was yet to come, Nick also threatend to cancel Spongebob Squarepants, a descision still under debate, Hey Arnold stopped making new episodes in 2004, Chalkzone and Fairly Oddparents original Directors were forced off their shows by Nick, and they started to reek, and Nickelodeon now has morebad shows than ever, while these shows suffer, terrible s shows like All Grown Up, Rocket Power, Danny Phantom, My Life As A Teenage Robot, Corniel & Bernie, As Told By Ginger, and the long since jumped the shark Rugrats continue to thrive while these wonderful shows are cancelled, ending, and jumping the shark. We would like to save Nickelodeon from this terrible spree. Heres what we should do.

1. Save Spongebob Squarepants.

2. Bring Invader ZIM back from cancellation with new episodes.

3. Save Hey Arnold.

4. Give Fairly Oddparents and Chalkzone back to their original creators.

5. Cancel Rugrats.

6. Cancel All Grown Up.

7. Cancel Rocket Power.

8. Cancel Danny Phantom.

9. Cancel My Life As A Teenage Robot.

10. Cancel As Told By Ginger.

11. Revive Rocco's Modern Life With New Episodes.

12. Revive The Angry Beavers with new episodes.

13. Revive Figure It Out With New Episodes.

14. Bring Doug Back From Disney And Revive It With New Episodes.

15. Bring Back The Nicktoon Summer Beach House.

16. Bring Back Slimetime Live.

17. Get Rid Of Splat!.

18. Stop Glorification Of Teen Culture On Nickelodeon.

19. Bring Back Action League Now

20. IMPEACH NICKELODEONS CURRENT PRESIDENT AND MAKE SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY UNDERSTANDS GOOD TV THE PRESIDENT!

That is all, if you agree with me on at least one of these ideas please sign this petition, it will make Nickelodeon what it was in the early 90's, late 90's, and up until now early 2000's again.

A great channel.
