1. Introduce McDonald's Delivery

As being one if not the biggest fast-food chain franchise, a part of giving good and quality customer service is meeting all the demands of your consumers.

So by not offering delivery, McDonald's is not satisfying their audience.

2. Review Commercial Traffic Concerns in the Danforth/ Riverdale area

My name in Jimmy Vlachos.  I'm a Real Estate agent and local resident of the Danforth/ Riverdale community.

I've been active in addressing violations of city by-laws by Commercial Entities, Business owners, and their suppliers for several years with great success.

My desire is to create a safer environment for property owners and tenants as well as addressing the needs of our community partners and business owners.

Commercial traffic in the area has increased and will continue to increase as we grow and prosper.

Commercial traffic is affecting the overall safety of residential streets and steps must be taking to ensure public safety and increased efficiency of business deliveries and pick ups.

The city, Danforth/ Riverdale residents, local businesses and there suppliers must work together to create an environment that is safer and able to handle the increased commercial demands of today and the future.

3. KFC Should Deliver

This petition has been set-up to help campaign to get KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) to deliver.

Your not the only one with KFC cravings but can't be asked to get off your sofa and go to the high-street and get yourself a burger or two, we want KFC to deliver to our doorstep.

Obviously something minimum charge of like £10 or something would be in place, but who cares when you can dip your mouth into that KFC Sensation?

Unite to get ourselves KFC whenever we want it!

4. Saturday Door-to-Door Delivery by Canada Post Corporation

Ms. Moya Greene, Canada Post Corporation's most recent President and CEO made some statements at Vancouver Board of Trade meeting.

She spoke of spending billions of dollars to improve the infrastructure at Canada Post, but was silent on what, if any, services at Canada Post would be improved for customers.

Canada Post has been profitable for the last 11 years, posting a profit of $190 million last year and Ms. Greene expects revenue this year of $7.2 billion.

Ms. Greene does not expect to use any of the billions of dollars to expand door-to-door delivery to Saturdays. In fact, she claims that "customers are not asking for Saturday delivery".

As a customer of Canada Post I have never been asked if I wanted Saturday delivery.

Do you want Saturday door-to-door delivery?

Answer YES or NO and the results will be sent to Ms. Greene upon the closing date of this petition.

Customers in Canada and Quebec must have their voices heard.

5. Positive Stomachs, Positive Minds, Positive People

June 5, 2006

This document is a ballet of request launched to the facility, managers, and employees of the Mnt. Tabor Country Store in the order of a delivery request.

The town of Danby and nearby Mnt tabor folks are looking for a delivery food service which in hopes you may provide. A 5-10 mile distant delivery radius would be manageable and generously welcomed into our small family base town. Residents who use this system would pay a fee of the stores decided charge of delivery and in general but this would make nothing more profit and sales towards this organization.

Not only is this for the residents who are able to walk or able to find transportation, this would be a great beneficial ordeal for elderly and as well as those who have troubles getting around or finding ways around.

We (the town) hope with this knowledge we can revolutionize the food system in this area and take the extra leap of accomplishment. We thank you for the time you have taken to read this.

7. Petition For Truth regarding the benefits of vaginal birth vs. elective cesarean surgery

February 20, 2004

The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology has released a statement which addresses the ethics of decision making regarding elective, or on-demand, cesarean surgery.

ACOG notes in the statement that although a number of factors influence such decision making, ultimately the decision will come down to the patients concerns and the physicians understanding of the procedures risks and benefits.

However, ACOG also states that it is unclear whether or not a patient has the right to have a surgical procedure when there is no evidence to support the procedure, and makes no statement regarding a physicians responsibility to specifically inform the patient of the benefits of not having the procedure.

Meanwhile, the CDC reports that the cesarean rate has risen to 26.1%, the VBAC rate has dropped 23%, and maternal and newborn mortality rates are on the rise, due to the frequent complications associated with cesarean surgery.

Women are not being given the whole story when it comes to the safety and benefits of a vaginal birth for them and their baby. To see the statement, and these rates:

9. Mail delivery in Terry Mississippi

In moving to Claiborn street I was told I had to pay for a post office box. Upon further investigation I learned that no one on my street has mail delivered because they were told the same thing. Even though mail has been delivered when our post office was small (there are mailboxes on several houses-not at the curb!). Now our post office is HUGE and we deserve our mail delivered to our homes. It is our right.

10. Yes to Safe Haven Laws

Safe Haven Laws were enacted to stop parents who have concealed their pregnancies from giving birth alone and from discarding the newborn in a dumpster or other dangerous place. There are many names for Safe Haven including Safe Place, Baby Moses Law, Safe Arms for Newborns, Safe Delivery, etc. The children who are abandoned have no way of learning their history when the parent drops them off as they are not required to leave their name or history. If you agree or disagree with this law, leave your name and comments on this difficult issue.
