Orange Botswana fails it consumers thus:
1. No customer service whatsoever
2. Complaints are NEVER acted upon

7. Over priced and unreliable products
2. Replace the BC RCMP with Provicial Police Force
The BC Government is in negotiations with the RCMP to renew their contract in 2012.
With all the problems with RCMP officers being charged with criminal offenses and being suspended with pay for years while it works it's way through the courts and then through internal RCMP discipline committees the BC Government and the people have no say in in the mandate of the RCMP only Ottawa has jurisdiction, it's time to replace them with a provincial and municipal force.
3. Stop BC RCMP renewal contract without public consultation
The BC Government is in negotiations with the RCMP to renew their contract for policing in 2012.
With past performance of RCMP officers being charged with criminal offenses and rising they are reassigned to desk duty or to sit at home with full pay until all court cases have been dealt with, most cases take years and if convicted they then go through a RCMP internal review (1 year at least)before discipline If any!

4. Stop the loud music that keeps us awake
Since April 2007 we have been kept awake over most weekends, public holidays and long weekends due to loud music coming from Clermont. The music generally continues until 5am the following morning.
We have been reporting these incidents to Metro Police, Emergency Services and SAPS to no avail.
We know that the music is coming from taverns in Clermont yet when Metro Police is phoned to tell them about the problem they deny that the taverns are even open.
We have proved them wrong on many occasions. The music then carries on and our complaints aren’t dealt with,
The taverns reportedly have permits which stipulate conditions but they are not being adhered to.
It is not just the neighbourhood of Cowies Hill being affected but most of Clermont too.
Clermont is notorious for being very dangerous at night and if taverns are allowed to blatantly break the law it will continue to be a dangerous place for all who live there.
5. Make Veterinary Surgeons more accountable
Justice For Ted was established following the death of our Great Dane through alleged veterinary negligence.
In lodging our complaint against the veterinary surgeon concerned, we were dismayed to learn that the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons has limited powers to impose sanctions on vets who have acted negligently.
Furthermore, the current procedure discourages pet owners from taking matters forward to the extent that the courts offer the only redress for owners in these circumstances.
6. Stop power companies disconnecting services
Being at the same address for almost seven years and with the supply and demand in the extreme 100 plus temperatures. Utility companies should not be allowed to turn your electricity off due to them wanting another deposit.
Overall when you look at my history my bill does get paid every month and when it is late I pay a late charge. But for them to strip me of my electricity just because I do not make extra money to hand them over an extra 500 dollars.
I am human so I am not perfect but i do work my tail off to give them there money every month. Being a single father of a 4yr old and barely make over the poverty level they do not take that into any consideration. So now after ongoing hours of begging and pleaing for them to reconnect my power I had to again make an agreement at there mercy to come up with this deposit within 2 weeks. I do have a more descriptive written document on rip-off report under Arizona Public Services disconnected for deposit phoenix az.
7. Complex Suggestions and Complaints
We have on numerous occassions complained about our main gate either getting stuck or not working at all but for years the problem still has not been rectified.
We have been getting complaints about our cars or motorbikes being started up in the mornings before going to work by the residents at Unit 21. None of the other residents mind as they all work. We would like these unlawful complaints to stop. There have also been complaints of the children playing outside.
During the week the children are in there homes before 10:00pm and yet the residents at Unit 21 still complain and shout at the children. We have had instances where they have repremanded the children in a drunken state and many of the residents have witnessed it.
In clause 11.7 in the "Rosslee Agreement of Lease" it clearly states that "you may not cause or commit any nuisance of the property or cause any annoyance or discomfort to other tenants or occupiers of the building." These tenants are continuously inspecting our homes from outside our windows and causing 'discomfort' to the tenants and their children. The tenants are up in arms about the current situation as we all get along and have no complaints about starting our cars in the morning or at any other times.
At the moment most car owners and children are living in fear of the tenants at Unit 21 due to their unfair treatment and constant complaints.

This is due to numerous complaints of cumulative motor vehicle damage.

9. Church Conflict Resolution / Rev. Pastor T. Whitely

This is asking for a church wide decision on the removeal of Pastor Rev Theodore D. Whitely.
That the Findings, reasons, of the SPR to ask Pastor to be moved, be brought to light and conflict of issues be delt with openly. Giving Pastor the opportunity to address complaints, issues, and a Time line be established for changes that may be needed.
That time be perpitted to show willness to work as adult Chrtistians to resoulve conflicts. That a group of 12 be named to come in faith with the pastor weekly to deal and resoulve complaints , and or problems. May this be for 2 , three moths sessions and revied at each 3 moths end. Giving a extra 3 months if needed.
That in 9 Months if conflict has not been worked out in agreement for either CUMC or Pastor. It will be agreeded that Pastor Whitely will request to me moved.
10. Bring Back 'Beneath the Remains'
Beneath the Remains is a local radio show on between midnight till 2am tuesday mornings, a show which showcases raw metal as is, is in jepeordy of being taken off air due to complaints.
Although there have been complaints no body knows the praise this show deserves. Showcasing pure metal to the local community, Beneath the Remains should not come off air.
Years ago personal differences and judicial complaints could be settled with trial by combat, sometimes to the death, though usually first blood or first man to submit. I propose to bring back this system of civil settlement, allowing the much needed resources of the courts to be freed up for more pressing matters than minor civil complaints. The winner of the duel would be presumed to be in the right. All duels will have an agreement as to the rules ie: first blood, to the death etc before hand and there will be no liability for any damages/death incurred during dueling.
12. Release Joyce Bell from employment with Dare County Schools as Manteo Highschool Bus Driver
We the students of Manteo High School, hereby request the removal of Joyce Bell from the Manteo High School Bus Driver Position. All of the undersigned students feel that our Constitutional and Civil Rights are being violated, as well as the safety guidlines that all bus drivers must follow in transporting each of us to and from school each day.
We are being denied fair and humane treatment while riding to and from school on her bus #48 as required by state law. Students are being sworn at, yelled at, she will jam on the breaks of the bus to get the attention of students, which has already caused significant harm and injuries to a few of the students that are daily passengers.
She uses extreme profanity with the students, especially the boys, in a sexually harassing way. We the students of Manteo High School deserve a safe and pleasant ride to and from school each day without fear, and without feeling verbally abused during our daily rides. We are continuously late in getting home to our families because she will pull off onto the side of the road, (does not matter where)which sometimes puts us all in danger of being hit by another vehicle. She has gotton angry with some students and has made them get off the bus to walk home. From Manteo to the beach is a long haul, and we do not appreciate her treating us this way.
Our parents pay towns, and county taxes in order to provide money to pay the salaries of the bus driver's as well as several school officials at the Board's level on down to the custodians. We all are under the age of Eighteen, and feel that our complaints as well as our parents complaints are falling on deaf ears.
This petition is to serve as documentation of our treatment by this woman, and to open the school boards eyes and ears. We want action taken now! Before anyone else's rights are violated,or we get into an accident or worse, this woman needs to be removed and released from her position.
