1. Save BBC Mongrels

After two series, BBC3 have decided to axe Mongrels from it's schedules. For a channel that boasts about supporting British talent it's full of american and reality shows. Viewing figures should not be important for the BBC. It is not a commercial channel and has to appeal to everyone across the board.

Mongrels was clever, rude, offensive and unlike anything else. The brilliant team behind it DESERVE a third series. The fans DESERVE another series.

2. Upright Citizens Brigade Season 3 DVD

The Upright Citizens Brigade is an improv and sketch comedy group that emerged from Chicago's ImprovOlympic in 1990. Most notable among the members are Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh, also known as the UCB 4.

The Upright Citizens Brigade did amazing work for comedy, both improv and sketch, and many of todays new comedians have studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. The UCB 4 formed a television series dedicated to their sketch comedy on Comedy Central that aired for three seasons from 1998 to 2000.

Each season contained 10 episodes, which included sketches inspired by their live shows and that also included new material. Seasons one and two were released on DVD.

4. Bring GOLD to Freeview

I am starting this petition to try and get the TV channel GOLD (formerly UK Gold, UKTV Gold and G.O.L.D.) to join Freeview and be available to Freeview viewers.

The channel predominantly shows classic British comedies like Only Fools and Horses, Blackadder, One Foot in the Grave and Fawlty Towers for the vast majority of the day.

The channel is currently available only on Sky, Virgin Media and TalkTalk TV.

I feel it would be a great advantage to people who have Freeview, and who do not want to spend a lot of money on buying Sky/Virgin etc. Many people are fond of these old sitcoms.

Thank you and please sign.

5. Knighthood for the Two Ronnies

I want the British public to help me to get the British comedian and comedy actor Ronnie Corbett a knighthood and a posthumous knighthood for Ronnie Barker. Barker and Corbett are/were arguably Britain's best-loved comic duo and they deserve to be knighted for their services to British television and humour.

Ronnie Corbett is well-known for his stand-up career as well as his acting in the Two Ronnies and the sitcom Sorry!

Ronnie Barker is famous for his comedy partnership with Corbett as well as his much-loved roles as Norman Stanley Fletcher and Albert Arkwright in the 70s sitcoms Porridge and Open All Hours. Barker passed away in 2005.

8. Bring back "I'm With Stupid"

"I'm With Stupid" was one of the funniest new comedy series of recent years. Shown only once on BBC3 nothing more has been seen for over 3 years now. It showed people with disabilities in a very positive, favorable way, and was extremely popular among discerning people with disabilities, as well as the those without! It was funny, gentle family entertainment and was set to change attitudes towards disabled people, by showing them getting the "upper hand" over all the very silly non-disabled folks they were involved with.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyMaVEXGi7U

9. Save Better Off Ted

This petition is here to save the show Better Off Ted on ABC (Usually on Tuesdays at some time). They have started to run two new episodes a week and this seems to be a sign that they are just running the last episodes until it is gone.

We are attempting to get them to put new episodes on Wednesdays or at least attempt to promote the show.

10. Lost Boys 4

The original Lost Boys was ahead of it's time and captured the imagination of a generation. There are not many people today who have not seen The Lost Boys.

Fans of the original waited 21 years for a below par sequel that went straight to DVD. Now the third installment is set to release and slated for a straight to DVD release as well.

11. Reinstate D’Andre Siggers, also known as ‘dcigs,’ justin.tv account

D’Andre Siggers is a comedian who broadcasts on http://www.justin.tv regularly and has provided countless hours of unheralded hilarity, slapstick humor, and greatly appreciated satire by all who have had the distinct pleasure and honor to watch and follow Mr. Siggers life unfold in front of our eyes.

D’Andre Siggers has invited many into his life because he chooses to and does so with great importance those not only leaves an everlasting impression on him but on us as we take time out of our hectic lives and sit down to relax and enjoy comedy that cannot be seen or heard in any other medium out there.

His unique charm and charismatic nature is so powerful you would believe that such characteristics can only exist on a high profile comedian or much publicized entertainment star but yet is wielded with great precision and utmost care and determination by, I dare say, a simple man who currently resides in Houston, Texas. D’Andre Siggers is quite an anomaly of a person in which that he is just like all of us but yet so different.

We all have hopes and dreams in whatever we believe what he can possible do and we do what we can to reach those dream and goals even if it takes every ounce of sweat and pounds of flesh ripped from sacrifice. In this we can relate with D’Andre Siggers in his ambition of becoming famous not just for money but for others, yes money can be quite a persuasive object of obsession but a man like D’Andre Siggers does not move forward in life towards just for money, fame or even power. His wish is to move past them and pick them up along the way and use them as tools to do what he has done for the past year, day in and day out, with nights of sleep sacrificed for one thing that he has repeated so much but yet has fallen on deaf ears and blind eyes from the administrative staff at http://www.justin.tv, and that is to help not himself but those who that need help, those that are afraid to have a voice, those who come on to his broadcast channel and seek guidance in form of comedic entertainment or advice from D’Andre Siggers. He proclaims himself as a “motivational funnyman”, but no longer has he expressed this by himself, but now in unison by a family of friends, a so called “Sigga Nation”. I myself admit that I have not know this man since his first days on http://www.justin.tv, but with a man like D’Andre Siggers it will not take long to know a great man like he is.

Trouble times have fallen on my friend, on our friend and I wish to speak on the behalf of the Sigga Nation and proclaim that injustice has been committed again our friend D’Andre Siggers.

D’Andre Siggers’ http://www.justin.tv account and broadcast channel was immediately suspended on March 20, 2009 due to violations of terms of service according to http://www.justin.tv. I have been a viewer of Mr. Siggers since July of 2008 and in my honest opinion nothing has changed from that time to March 20, 2009 that warrants a suspension of his account. I have see, viewed, and heard from other site viewers with disgust other http://www.justin.tv channels that broadcast sexual acts, criminal mischief, illegal streaming of copyrighted material to the mass public, pornographic material, and even supposed statutory rape according to one viewer that greatly, without a shadow of a doubt pales in comparison to what Mr. Siggers offers to the internet community.I have yet seen appropriate action to be taken on these horrible repulsive http://www.justin.tv channels, and yet they would still arise and go unnoticed a for a long period of time if action was meddled out. I request that D’Andre Siggers’ http://www.justin.tv account suspension to be lifted immediately and an apology to be issued by the administrative staff of http://www.justin.tv to D’Andre Siggers and his fans. The only reason me and my peers go on http://www.justin.tv is to watch Mr. Siggers perform noteworthy and paramount work that entreats his fans coming back to http://www.justin.tv just to watch the unique presence that D’Andre Siggers brings to the website.

We are presently waiting for the administrative staff of http://www.justin.tv decision whether to grant our right to be heard and reevaluate the decision made to suspend Mr. D’Andre Siggers account.

14. Award Mollie Sugden with the title Dame

Let’s face it, Mollie Sugden is a national treasure and a British cultural institution and therefore it is about time her services to television and the arts are recognised. Mollie is probably best known for her portrayal of Mrs Slocombe in the BBC’s Are you Being Served? (1972-1985).

From this role she was catapulted to international recognition embraced in particular by the USA where the show is still re-run. In 2002 a tribute programme called Celebrating Mollie Sugden: An Are You Being Served? Special aired on American PBS, a testement to American public’s affection for her.

With a career that began 1962 Mollie has been on our screens, on and off, for the past 42 years with her most recent role being in 2003. She has appeared in some of the greatest and iconic British comedy’s and is herself a comedy icon. Recognition for her work is long overdue – please sign this and help make Mollie Sugden a Dame. 15. Against the Humourless and Politically Correct

Recently the Philippines Foundation took offense at a sketch by the Harry and Paul show on BBC Television. Their petition can be found here http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/dignity-and-respect-for-the-filipino-worker.html

The foundation accused the BBC and the show of "inciting stereotyped racial discrimination, vulgarity and violation of the maid's human rights", and said the sketch was "tantamount to racism and [the] worst sexual abuse and exploitation of the hapless young Filipina domestic worker employee,".

The sketch clearly plays on exaggerated stereotypes, particularly of the southern family where the sketch parodies the thin thread of prejudice against 'other' people of lower standing, which common culture suggests Southerners posses. The sketch is funny precisely because it plays on stereotypes, and doesn't cross the, quite definite and clear, boundary into cruelty.

This petition is for all those people who are fed up with humourless and politically correct individuals and organisations, epitomised by the liberal commentariat and political circles, who look for insults where there are none and seek out offense.

Too often nowadays such organisations feel obliged to identify violations of human rights, usually by misunderstanding comedy and thus failing to understand from where the humour is derived in such performances. The public don't need to be exposed to the arrogant moral superiority of these organisations, who grasp the wrong end of the stick and direct attacks towards undeserving targets.

No doubt there are genuine, and far more serious, abuses, towards which the time and energy of these organisations would be far better focussed.

17. Bring back Roy and HG for London 2012

The Dream with Roy and HG was a sports/comedy talk show, broadcast every night during the Sydney 2000, Salt Lake 2002 and Athens 2004 Olympics, presented by Australian comedy duo Roy and HG.

Their telecasts became one of the most popular events of the Games, with Olympians from all nations queueing up to appear. The gifts given to interviewees became some of the most valuable collectors' items of the Games.

Due to the attention on Australia as the host nation, the 2000 season took the form of a two hour show and was made available to Olympic broadcasters internationally; the 2004 season was a one hour show broadcast in Australia only.

The pair became well known for their commentary of certain events, particularly the men's gymnastics, where they coined terms for various movements - including adapted vernacular such as "battered sav" and "Chiko Roll", and other inventions like "flat bag", "Dutch wink" and "hello boys" - that became familiar to viewers worldwide.

They also popularised Fatso the Fat-Arsed Wombat as their mascot, dismissing the official mascots as "Syd, Ollie, and Dickhead". This was emphasised in a satirical diving contest between Fatso, the three official mascots, and the Boxing Kangaroo later in the games. Fatso's huge popularity during the series caused consternation with the Australian Olympic Committee, who at first tried to ban the character from Olympic events after Australian athletes appeared carrying Fatso dolls at medal ceremonies. When auctioned for charity at the end of the series, Fatso was purchased by Seven Network CEO Kerry Stokes for AU$80,450. A statue of Fatso has since been erected at the Olympic Park site.

Insulting New Zealanders, particularly by way of the medal tally, was also a favourite pastime of Roy. When New Zealand won their first gold of the games in the rowing, he remarked that New Zealanders were "only good at sitting down and going backwards". During the 2004 season, Norway was insulted frequently, along with New Zealanders, as was former Olympic host city Atlanta, which Roy regularly denounced as "the toilet".

The show's popularity during the 2000 season prompted the creation of two spin-off shows, broadcast in Australia only — The Ice Dream during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, and The Cream, during the 2003 Rugby World Cup. The show's success also spawned The Monday Dump, a weekly sports/talk show with a similar format but lacking the central focus of a single sporting event.

18. Release BBC Comedy Drama 'Rescue Me' to DVD

This petition is in the hope that the BBC and Tiger Aspect Productions will release the romantic comedy television drama 'Rescue Me' starring Sally Phillips to DVD, shown on BBC 1 in 2002. This programme may appeal to fans of 'Love Soup', another romantic comedy drama made by the BBC which is on DVD, because of the same genre and for people who did not see the original transmission will finally have an opportunity to see it.

Though the programme may not of received the ratings it aimed for, the programme might still be of interest for people who are fans of the actors/actresses, such as Sally Phillips ('Smack The Pony' & 'Clare in the Community'), Oliver Chris ('Green Wing'), Stewart Wright ('Doc Martin') and James Lance ('I'm Alan Partridge' & 'The Book Group').

So if you are a fan of romantic comedies or of the comedians/comediennes taking part, please do sign up. Thank you.

26. Ranma 1/2

In the year 1996, the manga Ranma ½ ended with 407 chapters, although the manga ended many years ago the fan community still remains. One big proof of the fans loyalty is that on the American Anime Awards 2007, Ranma ½ was voted into the category “Best Comedy Anime”.

If you are unaware of Ranma ½, I suggest you take a look(e.g. Google, Youtube: Ranma ½). The goal of this petition is to get Rumiko Takahashi to create new chapters of Ranma ½ and therefore I need your signatures. Just sign, it doesn’t take much time. Please try to spread the word as far as you can. The more signatures the better.

This petition will be sent to Shogakukan, which owns the copyright of Ranma 1/2 , and which will hopefully send it to the manga's creator Rumiko Takahashi, if we got enough signatures.

Please support this petition by signing up. Thank you!

This is a petition to save the show !Mucha Lucha! before it gets 100% deleted. It can make pure new episodes on Cartoon Network and that'd be cool for the Mucha Lucha fans, so this is the show description ...

Show description ...

"¡Mucha Lucha! is an over-the-top comedy-adventure about honor, family, tradition... and donuts. The series explores the Latino cultural phenomenon known as "Lucha Libre."

In a world where no one removes their colorful mask ever and success depends on having a "signature move," three mascaritas - Rikochet, Buena Girl and The Flea - study and live the "Code of Masked Wrestling" and go to school at the Formost World-Renowned International School of Lucha. This bold comedy combines irreverent humor and visually dynamic fantasy-action in two fast-paced 11-minute episodes and is the first-ever all-flash animated series on broadcast television."
