1. Stop Redundancies at University of Birmingham 
The University of Birmingham have announced plans to make 114 staff redundant or force them to work anti social hours contracts.
Staff directly supporting students and there wellbeing are affected.
Cuts include:
*Cut in staff looking after students in student accommodation and downgrading their skills;
*Sports Centre, Security and Cleaning.
The anti social hours contracts are forcing staff with caring responsibilities for children and parents to work evenings and weekends.
All the cuts are to frontline staff, not senior managers.
2. Getting more Inmates to Help Clean America
I Believe as a United States Marine, Father, and a American that we need more Prisoners and Inmates Cleaning America to help future generations! This means trash on side of roads, highways, or anywhere else need be.
I know of many people who've been to jail complaining about not getting outside. It's a win-win!
So please if you want a Cleaner America please sign.

3. Petition for the addition of Mechanical Sweeping
Although we are a commercially zoned area, many transient people live on neighboring streets and in encampments. As a result our streets and gutters accumulate human waste, urine, needles, used condoms, hair, clothing, vomit, oil spills, paper & plastic debris.
Because the storm drains are clogged with trash we also have as much as a foot of standing water throughout the winter months.This all Results in a horrible public health hazard and a burden for the businesses owners, workers, and delivery couriers.
We need regular mechanical street cleaning as soon as possible.
4. Change street cleaning times on Third Street
Street Cleaning is on a day and time which affects business on Third Street dramatically. It is at 12:00 on Thursdays, this is Prime time lunch rush for many business on Third Street. As a result our customers have nowhere to park which cuts down on business.
Through the years, ciggarette and cleaning product factories, pet shops, etc. has been mistreating animals.
Cigarrtes factories force animals to smoke the cigars for a long time, to see what happens, and owners of cleaning product factories must test their products on something, so they choose animals to test them on. They drop chemicals that the product contains in the mouths and eyes of rabbits and monkeys. And, many of the times the animal is greatly injured, and even died painfully.
And pet shops only provide small cages for the cats and dogs, that are barely larger than their bodies. We must stop this unjust action now!
Me, Gabriela Cano, my sister, Carlina Cano, and my companion, Hannah Jones have made this petition to stop this cruel act towards animals.
