3. Fix Water Pressure for Building 16

The water pressure for Building 16, Willow Creek Circle, fluctuates incessantly to the point where any an all tasks involving water become difficult, from washing dishes to taking a shower.

The pressure problem can be traced to a faulty water pressure regulator, and this issue has been present since before Spring of 2007. Property management has refused to repair Building 16's pressure regulator despite numerous repair requisitions.

4. No More Roundabouts in Skagit County!

They are oh so European and oh so California. Fine, they can have them. Roundabouts are difficult for people on bicycles, bad for large trucks, take up a huge amount of space and give so very little in return for their cost.

The money might be better spent teaching our hapless citizens the finer points of turn-lane usage and the meaning of the word yield. Once they have mastered these skills, only then could they be trusted to effectively navigate a circle.

In other words, don't hold your breath.

5. CLEAN UP LAKE DOT CIRCLE

It is the purpose of this petition to inform the City of Orlando to take dramatic action in controling the homeless, on Lake Dot Circle, which have become relentless in their pursue for money, food, or anything of value.

We demand the City of Orlando and hold them responsible to ensure the safety of its citizens! Note we are concerned for the safety of our children and the children at the Kwanni's Club day care (on Lake Dot Circle).

6. Please Drive the School Buses Into the Circles

The most important concern of the people is the safety of our children once they leave the house every morning and when they get off the bus each evening.

During the fall semesters of school it is dark when the children congregate at the bus stop and there have been reports of registered sex offenders at the bus stop on countless occassions. There have also been reports of parents physically attacking other people's children. There are countless fights and numerous of other acts of malice and thereafter.

On day rainy days the children are soak and wet before they even get on the bus. The majority of the trouble the children get into begins at the overcrowded bus stop. There are three different schools of children at the bus stop at the same time. The police have been called several times for incidents that have taken place at the bus stop.

There is a high volume of traffic at the bus stop especially during drop off. There is no cross walk worker and the youngest child walking to and from the bus stop is five years of age.

We, the people, feel that a lot of these problems can be avoided by the bus simply driving into the circle instead of having the children walk out of the circle to go to school! Thank you very much!

7. Halt proposed development on Glendale Court

Infinity Developer has proposed to build a single-family house on Glendale Court.

This action has created concerns about the undeveloped land and surrounding infrastructure issues.

We note the following concerns that have been raised by neighbors about existing problems:

STORM WATER DRAINAGE ISSUES:
. Neighbors have complained of flooding and soilerosion along the creek behind Glendale Court and Pine Valley Circle resulting from poor storm water drainage.

. Storm water from nearby school, Woodland, drains out of a corroded pipe into the debris and eroded creek behind Glendale Court and Pine Valley Circle, creating a run over.

. Run-off water improperly channeled onto nearby land/property has caused damage to vegetation and parts of the landscape on Glendale Court and Pine Valley Circle.

SEWER ISSUE:
. Neighbors have complained of sewage smell in the area behind Glendale Court and Pine Valley Circle. This is a health issue in the community.

We're seeing the blight in the neighborhood of sink holes, buckling/cracked streets and driveways. The proposed site is next to a vacant house, surrounded by these deteriorating conditions.

8. Fix Throwing Conditions at Santry Stadium, Dublin

The current conditions in which Hammer and Discus throwers are expected to throw at Santry Stadium Dublin are unsafe for both the throws competitiors and the competitors on the track.

The "new" circle is the result of shody workmanship and it is highly unfair to ask athletes to throw in such dangrous conditions. Athletes have commented that they feel they are "signing a death warrent every time you went into it."

As well as it being unfair to ask athletes to throw from such conditions, it is even more unfair to ask them to throw in a manner that will be safe to track competitors. Throwers have complained about the difficulties in keeping control of the emplements they are throwing due to the conditions and unless this is rectified it WILL lead too an injury, either to a thrower or someone on the track.

The angle at which the cage is now set up also means that, on top of the highly dangrous and unpredictable conditions of the circle, it is highly possible for a 16lb hammer to land on the track. The AAI attempted to rectify this by abruptly changeing the direction of the sector line at 60m. This is something that a wayward hammer will not take into consideration when it is heading towards the track. And the AAI does not want to know what kind of damage a 16lb ball traveling at that speed can do to a track! Unless these conditions are taken into consideration, I can see the closeing of lanes due to damage as well as injury to athletes.

There has been outcry by members of the throwing community since the "new" circle was put down and various demands for the establishment of petitions. As well as being extremly angry at the conditions we are expected to perform in we do not wish to see clamp downs on our events due to somebody on the track being injured.

Irish Throwers have just as much a right to compete in safety as do the other athletes. It is the duty of the AAI to provide safe conditions for the athletes of this country to take part in. The conditions at Santry are safe for neither thrower nor athletes useing the track.

We respectfully ask that the circle be fixed or that the Irish Championships and other events due to be held at Santry be moved to a new location which provides proper and safe conditions for holding a competition.

9. A Bridge for Elijah Circle

July 31, 2006

Everytime time we have a major rain storm the residents of Eljah Circle are washed away.

We are in great need of a small bridge over our creek. We are not able to enter to lower part of our road due to a dangerous wash-out. The only thing that is done about the issue is a patch up of the road and that always sinks down and will eventually cave in. This is a very dangerous situation.

If anyone comes around the curve on our road not knowing that the creek is over flowing they could easly be taken away. Not only this, but, there are openings on each side of the road that exposes the creek and if two vehicles come on the road and the same time they can easily wreck and go off the road.

A bride on Elijah Circle would make this road safer for us.

10. Removal of No Parking Signs on Woodhaven

January 26, 2006

This petition is here to remove the no parking signs on Woodhaven Circle.

The reason for this petition is in response to the amount of parking currently available. There is hardly a sufficient amount of parking spaces for the number of tenants that reside in the Jacob Heights Townhouse Development. This parking issue causes a number of problems for the tenants that live in the Jacob Heights Townhouses along with residents of Mankato that don't live there.

The first problem created from these no parking signs is resident parking. The problem arises due to the fact that there are four tenants living in each unit in Jacob Heights. There is no possible parking configuration utilizing the garage and driveway that will allow any single tenant to leave at anytime. This is the first reason why parking on Woodhaven is requested. A lot of the residents living here are college students.

Everyone has busy class and work schedules and being blocked in your driveway by a roommate not home is not a valid excuse for a professor or employer. The second major problem created from the no parking signs on Woodhaven is in regards to visitors and guests. If all tenants are home there are no available parking spots nearby for guests. This makes is very difficult to meet with friends, family, coworkers, and classmates in the Jacob Heights Development.

There are currently 42 units in the Jacob Heights Townhouse Development. There is also an additional 24 units under construction. This means that the current problem is only going to get worse unless the city of Mankato does something about it. Enclosed is a list of Mankato residents who all agree with the complaints stated above. The residents of Mankato demand action. There are obviously plenty of solutions to the current dilemma.

If authorized parking signs are required for the public street of Woodhaven Circle then possibly permit only signs could replace the no parking signs. Another solution is to build another public parking lot across from the Jacob Heights Townhouses.

11. Save the 1980s pepsi logo

I think the old pepsi logo is better than the new one. The old one is kind of what the original pepsi drink represents with pepsi in the middle of the circle; maybe at least they could put the word pepsi in the middle of the circle on the can again.

14. Keep CCHoA email notification system

I received these excerpts from a CCHoA BOD e-mail on July 18th. The BOD will soon destroy the members e-mail notification system:

"...District Judge Jeanne Meurer ordered: that Defendants must produce for inspection and copying upon a request by a member of the CCHoA, the list of e-mail addresses of the members of the CCHoA used for communication of CCHoA business as it exists 10 days after the entry of this order and thereafter (July 26, 2003, and thereafter)."

"...the Board has decided to ask all whose addresses are on the e-mail list to ascertain whether they want their e-mail addresses made available to any member of the Association upon request. In order to determine the homeowners' preference, the Board has elected to delete all e-mail addresses UNLESS specifically directed by a homeowner to retain a homeowner's e-mail address on the official list. If you want your e-mail address to remain on the list, please so advise the writer by return e-mail. Otherwise, your address will be deleted from the list.

...the Board will likely produce and distribute monthly to each home a paper newsletter containing all of the pertinent information previously contained in "blast e-mails" to our neighbors. Sincerely, CCHoA Board of Directors"
