Some countries have a program to feed children in schools, others do not. If we think that human resources are the more important, then start feeding children using help from bankers which earn very big profits from credit card users.
A small fee will be helpful to start the program.

3. Royal Commission into Australian Banking
Justice for All
Please register your 'Call for a Royal Commission into the Banking Sector of Australia', with broad terms of reference.
Many Australians are victims of Full Doc, Low Doc and No Doc LAF fraud in Australia. The President of BFCSA (Inc), Ms Denise Brailey, recently spoke at a Senate Hearing in Canberra and produced undeniable and indisputable evidence of Australian banks and lenders' widespread involvement in Loan Application Fraud.
There are countless victims who have had their houses and businesses taken illegally by the banks.
There is also the serious situation of regulators turning a blind eye to consumer complaints and the same regulators supporting the banks. The regulators are hiding behind flawed legislation and their own internal policies.
This petition will be presented to the Australian Government to indicate the Will of the People that a Royal Commission into the banking sector must be instigated as a matter of urgency.
4. Save the HSBC branch in Appleby
HSBC are planning to close the Appleby-in-Westmorland branch on November 30, 2012.
Residents, business people and visitors to this beautiful market town are opposed to the closure.
Make your voice heard and call for HSBC to think again about closing a vital rural service.
Case for a People’s Bank.
The Commonwealth Bank was a successful government owned bank with many remarkable achievements over most of the 20th century while it was the ‘People’s Bank’. Among other things Australians saw it as insurance against exploitation by private banks.
The privatisation of the Commonwealth Bank in the 1990’s was a financial disaster for Australia. It came about in the shadow of government deceit, where the people were told that this was to be the last government sale of public assets.
Since deregulation, banks have enjoyed obscene profits and paid their executives multi-million dollar salaries and bonuses. The dark side of the coin shows they have closed branches, cut services, colluded and exploited legally and illegally their collective monopoly of power whenever possible.
This failed deregulation led to all state government banks collapsing and paved the way for a wave of further deregulation and privatization which can exploit the consumer.
The results are being felt by many Australian families who are having difficulties managing budgets such as their privatised utility bills.
Adding to their financial woes is they’re being slugged with an increasing range of bank fees and charges for services, most of which were given free by the original Commonwealth Bank.
There is a strong case to reverse this negative flow, starting with the banks. Options are to nationalise all banks, or create a government owned People’s Bank based on the original Commonwealth Bank model.
Australia’s federal and state governments, general public, and small and large business sectors all stand to gain from a People’s Bank.
For example, the private banks will have to fall in line with the policies and ethics of the People’s Bank. This means less profit for the private banks and more money in your pocket.
The Commonwealth Bank model is cited in overseas publications as a system with enormous merit to both public and private sectors.
We have an opportunity to again demonstrate to the world a banking system that can bring considerable benefits to the federal government and its people.
If you believe we need a People’s Bank, sign the petition and forward it to your family and friends to sign too.

9. Help Create New Jobs and Support Multicultural Community of the Greater Philadelphia!
In 2006, several members of the Russian-Speaking community of Greater Philadelphia started the process of opening of a community bank in the Greater Philadelphia area, the RIGHT Bank.
The goal behind the creation of this bank was to serve the needs of the multicultural community of Greater Philadelphia by offering banking services tailored to meet the needs of the community, including customer service in native languages, providing better access to credit, and educating customers about the American banking system. During the uneasy times of recession, RIGHT Bank is planning to create new work places and support community non-profit initiatives.
RIGHT Bank obtained the approval from the Pennsylvania Department of Banking in 2008; however, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has still not granted approval of RIGHT Bank’s application for deposit insurance. As a result, RIGHT Bank cannot open to the public.
10. Congress should eliminate the Federal Reserve Bank
The president and all of his staff and the last 4 presidents and the federal reserve bank (a privately owned bank) have been having secret meetings with the bilderberg group and global elite bankers to plan out the world's future for every country connected with the U.N. This is known.
It is a crime under federal law for our government officials to discuss United States foreign policy with foreign officials in a secret matter. I move to have everyone working in the white house and the federal reserve bank arrested for high treason against the United States of America. For proof see "The Obama Deception" on you tube.
11. Save Public Housing: Oppose PETRA
On May 13th, HUD submitted legislation to Congress that would make public housing more attractive for bank mortgages and other private funders. Private banks that could take over public housing in the event of a foreclosure.
If this legislation passes, we can imagine a future where our public schools, libraries and national parks are mortgaged to banks to provide funding.
Please help us stop the mortgaging of our public property and sign the petition below.

We all are Icelanders, fed up to pay for the banks failures!
Dear Icelandic friends,
Let me share with you a few reactions to your current fight against the outrageous blackmail of the British and Dutch governments regarding the debts of the failed Icelandic banks.
First of all, you are right to resist the demands of London and The Hague. Those two countries' regulators have failed to properly monitor the banks acting on their territories (and both have been obliged to pour billions to rescue their own national 'banking champions'). And if unfortunately British and Dutch customers have been caught up into the Icelandic private banks collapse, it is primary an issue for the British and Dutch authorities which allow them to do so on such a large scale.
Second, London and The Hague have no moral right to blackmail you about the accession of your country to the EU. I am certain that they do not even have the support of their own citizens for such a shameful action. You are yourselves put into a tragic economic and social situation because of these private banks collapse. The EU was not created to put people into financial servitude, neither to push them into greater poverty. Quite the contrary! The more you case will be made public in the EU, the less London and The Hague will be able to defend their current position. And in any case, membership to the EU is not worth the price of decades of financial servitude. The European Parliament should vote as soon as possible to deny London and The Hague's blackmail about your accession.
Third, your country has no more, no less obligations than what the European regulations plan in the case of private banks collapse. And till it happens in your country, nothing was really planned for that kind of situation. So play by the European books, if any, and nothing more. And do not hesitate to underline that Mr Brown and Mr. Balkenende did not dare to ask Washington to compensate for all the losses incurred by their citizens in the Lehman Brothers collapse. So no reason to have a different treatment for Iceland! Once again, the EU is made for putting the small and the big countries on an equal footing in terms of rights. Something the Dutch people are certainly very conscious and which may get you a very benevolent attitude from them.
Fourth, don't bend to the 'bankers' kind of attitude that both London and The Hague are having. They do act with you as if they were a bank managing a mortgage : what's their next step if you refuse their ultimatum? Foreclosing Iceland and expelling you out of your country? Don't forget that it is not only in Iceland that people are fed up with the banks' behaviour. All over Europe and the world, and in UK in particular where the City is increasingly felt as a threat to people well being, feelings are turning very sour towards the banking establishment and its political puppets. So do resist and you will find support from everywhere.
Last but not least, if you want to play it safe, just do as the British governments always do with the EU, just say that you will comply, and once inside the EU do exactly the contrary of what you said. It has less panache, but it is definitely very effective.
In any case, to prove that all Europeans are not like the British and Dutch governments, Newropeans is launching a petition called « We all are Icelanders, fed up with paying for banks failures » and aiming at gathering popular support for you resistance to the current outrageous 'financial order ':

* NEDERLANDS

* ITALIANO

* DEUTSCH
Also leisten Sie Widerstand.
13. Appeal Against The Supreme Court Ruling On Bank Charges
Today (25-11-09) The Supreme Court Of Justice Made A Judgement Against Millions Of People That Had Paid Unfair Bank Charges To The Main High Street Banks.
This Is Due To Charges On Current Accounts When People Use An Unauthorised Overdraft Facility.
HSBC plans to close the Whitchurch branch on 22 January 2010, citing a lack of commercial justification. This will have a major effect on individuals, businesses and community groups who use the bank and ATM, forcing people to drive for miles to the nearest alternative.
This decision has been made with no consultation with the community, customers or local bodies.
15. Stop LLoyds TSB discriminating in favour of Islamic Accounts
I recently raised the question of Sharia finance with our local local MP and his reply was that it was merely a contract and people could enter any contract they wish. Which is true with normal commercial contracts however if you accept Sharia Finance you also accept Sharia Law which is a religious law quite different from normal commercial law.
And considering the government is trying to make London the European centre of Sharia finance in Europe we could be sleep walking into Sharia law through the back door.
What I think is happening is an attempt at a long term culture change through Finance.
16. Stop Bank Account Lock Outs
Banking institutions should not be allowed to lock people out of their own banking accounts. No matter the circumstances no company should be allowed to hold a person's money without notice, and any way to contact them at any hour of any day.

18. Eliminate all bank account fees & ATM fees across all Australian Banks
Banks and banking organisations urge individuals and businesses to store funds within them in order for them to invest the money in large corporate ventures for the purpose of gaining large profits.
Hence, why do they charge us fees on bank accounts and ATM's when they make billions due to the money we entrust with them?
All around the world the banks understand this concept - but not Australian banks!
1. All the money in the world is VIRTUAL money, of no real consequence whatsoever (see the EcoTort website). Therefore there is no financial reason for anything. Eg, there is no financial reason why we cannot feed, clothe, house, & educate every person living on the Earth today, AND be 100% eco-responsAble too…!
2. Any contract to damage or destroy the environment is a contract to commit the most serious crime of “Aggravated Criminal Damage” to the environment (max Life Sentence, see the EcoTort website), and is therefore a void, unenforceable contract (which is based upon money which does not exist ! ).
3. According to UNiversal Law it is illegal to pay tax in ANY country of the world (see the EcoTort website) until the World’s Government(s) cease their criminal activities in allowing heinous environmental damage and destruction at present day UNprecedented levels; equivalent to a threat of war, and indeed being the single most likely cause of most conflict (armed and unarmed, domestic and international) in the World today.
4. AT LEAST 60% of everyones wages on the Earth is being collected by the elite bankers of the world, through interest payments on unenforceable contracts, to do with as they please; unelected, unrepresentative, unaccountable, and unacceptable! (see the EcoTort website).
5. Every Police officer promises to “protect life and property, and to uphold the Law”. The most serious threat to life and property, and the most serious breach of the Criminal Law are BOTH due to CRIMINAL environmental damage and destruction, for which the banking elites are demonstrably responsible (see the EcoTort website)..
6. The remedy is through a global implementalion of the principles of Permaculture (see the EcoTort website).
20. The Coronado Middle School Extra Credit Bank
A few of the students had the idea to start an "Extra Credit Bank" at school. This would enable kids to do certain assignments for extra credit that could be put into an account.
These points could be used towards any class, with a cap at a certain amount depending on the teacher.
This could help many kids grades out a lot, and think about it... whats bad about extra credit?
21. Stop Banks from Charging Outrageous Fees
Stop the “Free Checking” scam. Last year alone, banks made $80 billion in fees they took from customers in the form of ATM, overdraft, transfer of funds, and late fees.
Identity Theft is the Number One Financial Crime in the United States according to the Federal Trade Commission. In 2003 the Federal Trade Commission reported an economic loss of over $50 Billion due to this crime.
In 2004 President Bush signed a bill into law creating mandatory minimums for criminals who commit this crime, but no law to date actually provides the ability to stop Identity Theft from occurring.
