1. Review Honours and Awards_Order of Wearing

To the Honourable President and members of the Senate in Parliament assembled:

The petition of the undersigned shows:

We are concerned that the current order of wearing of Australian Awards is demeaning to ex-service men and women. The Public Service Medal has post-nominals (PSM) and is senior to Military Bravery, Conspicuous Service and Campaign medals. We are absolutely outraged that a member of the Public Service is entitled to an award more senior to a service person that has probably been in a designated War Zone and more likely than not, shot at.

2. Cancel Cannes 2010 Awards in Support of Jafar Panahi

On the 1st March, 2010, leading Iranian film-maker Jafar Panahi was arrested in Tehran, Iran, under allegations of anti-governmental activities.

Invited to be part of the 63ยบ Cannes Film Festival official jury, he couldn't attend, despite French ministers asking for his liberation and petitions being made by directors such as Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese.

On May 18th, during a press conference at Cannes, it was revealed Panahi went on hunger strike. We all understand that isolated complaints will not have the necessary impact to free him, but maybe cancelling this year awards could drive enough media attention to the issue.

4. Halo 3 needs more recognition

Halo 3 is in mine and alot of people's minds a great game, but some...the people who give out the damn awards...say that it was inferior to some others games in 2007.

For example, at the Video Game Awards...the gave the award for best shooting game to Call of Duty 4, not to say anything about that game but Halo 3 should have taken that award.

What I want to say about this in conclusion is just, do you really think that, and if you don't please help me try and make a difference.

5. Preserve School History for the Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons

At this time all trophies and awards that had been on display in the Wilcox and Hildreth sites prior to our school merger have been removed from each site.

This was a decision made by the school board. The Alumni Association from each school is in possession of the trophies, awards, and memorabilia.

A committee of primarily alumni from each school has been organized to make a decision on possible reconsideration to display items of historical value from each school.

6. Show the Inside Soap Awards on TV

Inside Soap is a popular soap magazine in the UK.

Every year the magazine holds "The Inside Soap Awards 2007". Readers have the chance to vote. There is a party where the results are told. But they are never shown on TV, I think they should.

Wouldn't this be good? If you agree, please sign the petition!

7. Justin Timberlake To Be Dropped From Jive

Justin Timberlake is a complete douche. He has recently often potrayed himself as the only reason why the Grammy's and Kid's Choice Awards for examples were hits because of him and having his name on the project.

He is always hating on Britney Spears even though they broke up so long ago he still bags her, sings about her and is a n00b to her. This petition is to get Justin dropped from Jive so this n00b can go away.

8. Investigate Arlington County Police Department

Arlington County Police Chiefs Steve Holl and Rebecca Gaffney are misrepresenting the Badge of Valor Awards by using them to promote cronyism within the Department and are issuing awards based on friendship, not truth. Awards should not be issued based on retirement, rank or friendship.

9. Public Apology Demanded

This petition is to ask and, if not supplied, then to demand a public apology to Susan Lucci for the treatment she received from CBS last night, may 17th at the daytime Emmy awards ceremony! First they play the AMC theme music and then they announce Susan's name as the cameramen encourage our Susan to walk up to receive her Emmy! Only to get there and be told it is Susan Flannery who won and not Susan Lucci! A mistake? I think not! How horrified Susan must of been. Your treatment was inhumane and unacceptable and will not be tolerated! Susan Lucci is the most popular daytime actress in all of daytime history and she is loved and adore not just in our country but in countries all over the world! And we, the fans demand you treat Ms. Lucci with the respect she so well deserves and meet the demands of her fans and give her the public apology she deserves!

On be-half of her millions of fans all over the world! Tory
