62. Abolish Hidde View Development Jacob Road Access
Eight years ago the plans for the Wall Township Hidden View development was introduced. The plans proposed access from Cherry & Red Bud lanes in the Ramtown section of Howell. The Howell Council took action against this proposel. The NJ Supreme Court ruled in favor of allowing access to Hidden View from Cherry & Red Bud lanes. Plan B was to build a bridge over the Garden State Parkway which proved to be to daunting. The new plan calls for access to Hidden View via a new $750,000.00 "T" intersection at Jacob Road in the Forest Ridge development.
This plan is a result of complaints from the residents in and around the Cherry & Red Bud Lane area. While no one wants the access road in their area, to move it to another area is just shifting the burden. The Cherry & Red Bud Lane area has numerous alternate routes to Newtons Corner Road. The Forest Ridge area has extremely limited access to Newton Corner Road for vehicles from 177 new homes.
This "T" intersection if built will pose a serious threat to safety and well being of the children and all residents in the Forest Ridge development. Direct access to Newton Corner road or another main road should be found. Builing a new access road that funnels the traffic from 177 new homes trough ANY existing residential development must not be allowed.

It has always been a known fact that people try to scam/crack people out of their passwords. But now it seems like too big of a problem. The idea of adding the security code estinguished the cracking option that hackers did have. But it seems that other people have the whitts to outsmart people out of their password, & neopet glitches occur, what we are proposing will also greatly lessen the option of this.
We, the people of neopets propose that; The Neopets Team would put a lock on the profile page also placing the link of the self freeze site only inside the profile page, which would mean that any information cannot be changed without a proper code designated at signup and something that only an email could retrive w/ a special retrive password page. And, without knowing the 2nd password to access the profile page.
The, "hackers/scammers", cannot see the e-mail in the account to e-mail hack their account. Only the person/owner of the account will know what it was they signed up with. This would stop hackers from password changing (locking out the actual owner from saving their account & any prefrences edited without the knowledge of the owner. Also, from freezing the account they are hacking. This would sae you all alot of headaches, time and begging E-mails when hackers attack.
The 2nd password page, to gain access to the profile site, mentioned earlier would require a question that the owner of the account creates (to help make it easy for them to remember, but not hackers to know. On opening an account they would section from a dropdown a list of personal questions, easy for the owner to know, hard for a hacker. i.e-
Who was my best friend since 1st grade?
Let's just say the answer is ashley so when you go to retrieve any settings you would have to type to that answer (ashley) to be able to access the profile page. This protects hackers from seeing our birthday and e-mail etc.. so, they cant try to E-mail the account saying its theres with our private information.. later on after hacking us..
In addition, that When you make this option, neopets has a e-mail sent to everyone with current active accounts for an activation of our 2nd password for our profile page. The activation have Question Options to chose from like 6 different ones. - i.e. What is your mothers birth State. Then you type in your answer -ex. Idaho.. Then, submit to active - Now this answer is the only way you can getinto the profile. Hackers will never be able to see your profile only you. ON this page there be a resend 2nn profile password. When it shows the next page - this page ask two questions - what is your birthday and your zipcode. Then and only then if you answer right (as noone see's your birthday - its in your profile -) it will only then send to your e-mail. Protecting all of neopia and stopping hackers and even scammers.
In conclusion, Neopets we write you this because we want the hacking to stop. Neopets is just a game to most but to some of us its a different life where all of our friends are. If you took in effect, it would immensly increase the complication to hack our accounts. If they did get in, we are still able to stop them!
64. Abolish Construction Use of Private Road in Delray Beach, Florida
Construction traffic is using 133rd as an access point into a new development known as Bexley Park. This is causing residents who's home abut 133rd to be subjected to extreme amounts of noise and polution which is thereby causing property damage and stress to these residents.

We are writting this petition to voice our concerns about external access to the campus servers. As some research has been done on other campuses that currently give their students access to telnet into the school unix servers so as to work on current class projects, we are concerned that we are being neglected in the modern age of IT. This would make things alot easier for students and teachers, with help and also keeping records on the school network for the teachers to assess the status of students.

These two points of communication provide paedophiles with largely uncontrolled open slather to individuals including information of families business personnel credit card details private home data [dates of birth home addresses and telephone numbers family members number of children where schooled private interests et al] as well as Shipping and Trucking data including access to Customs and Government.
Not realising the dangers of a paedophile in the Freightforwarding business it is open slather for the paedophile as is access to and use of Ham Radio that reaches innocent people with children throughout the world as well as locally in Australia.
I call for Police checks and Bans on paedophiles in these areas vital to human existence, movement and well-being.

The National Park Service (NPS) has proposed a rule requiring that most recreational snowmobiles entering Yellowstone National Park meet specific air and sound requirements and be accompanied by a trained guide. The proposed rule also dictates daily limits on the number of snowmobiles allowed in the park. These guidelines result from the March 25, 2003 Record of Decision http://www.nps.gov/grte/winteruse/winteruse.htm that addressed the impacts of oversnow recreational vehicle use in the park. 68. Yes to parakarting on lytham st annes beach
In July 2002 a lady was killed in a accident involving a land yacht on the beach at lytham st. annes. Landyachting and parakarting have taken place on the beach for well over thirty years and in all that time there has never been a serious accident till last july. We offer our deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased, but we would like to get access to the beach to carry on with our sport as the council closed off the beach to land yachts and parakarts till further notice. It is over 12 months now and we are no further forward in getting back on the beach, other local beaches were closed as well to landachts and parakarts bur have all reopened with enforced risk assesments and insurance coverwould all interested people wishing to get our sport going at lytham st,annes please sign this petion to forward to lytham county council , they have the best beach in the UK fot this sport which is enviromently friendly fun and safe. Davy Crocket has hacked, and cheated his way to the top without thinking of the torment he would later put the community through. 70. Support The Lakewood School Language Development Program
The Lakewood School Language Developement Program has been a very sucessfull program for the last 25 years. Helping many children with severe language problems overcome their challenges and become confident and productive students. The current School Board has formed a committee to come up with a recommendation to either change or eliminate this program from our school ditrict in order to save money, with the misguided promise that a new format of language development programs will access more children. We, the parents of these children do not want to see this program done away with but expanded in its current proven form if possible.

The completed T-Rex and Light-rail project including a new light rail hub on Louisiana and south Washington street will have immediate impact on auto and pedestrian traffic directly impacting the saftey and quality of life of the residents of the 1300 blk od south Washing street. A perposial has beeb put forth by Robert Dorroh from CDOT to construct a traffic diversion island in the South intersection of S. Washington Street and Louisian to discourage neighboorhood access via South Washington Street. If this diversion were constructed, the only way to access the 1300 blk of S. Washington immediatly South of Louisiana would be from Arkansan on the South or a right turn from eastbound Louisiana. Traffic exiting Washington onto Louisiana would only be able to turn right and proceed eastbound.
72. Save the Victoria Recreation Ground
The Victorian Recreation Ground has been a focal point in Canterbury and surrounding areas in Kent. This site was given to the people of Canterbury By Queen Victoria I for public access. It has been propesed that this ground is leased to a leisure facility who endevour to charge for the tennis courts. Children's play facilities and Pavillion to raise money for the upkeep. Public access will remain but other areas that were once free of charge would need to be paid for.
73. Parking on Abertillery Road, Blaina.
We, the undersigned, beleive that paking should continue on Abertillery Road.
Some of the people who use this for parking have no alternative parking rights , other than the main road. Some of the houses don't even have access to a back lane. This makes life increasingly difficult, especially when seeing to children e.t.c.
We also have a Fire Fighter on call who needs to park conveniently to gain easy access to his car to attend an emergency without interuptions.
We also beleive the cars being parked on Abertillery Road are helping to slow the flow of traffic.Being forced to pull in to give way to oncoming traffic.
74. Help 'Abed al-Rahman al-Ahmar, human rights activist
I am a member of Amnesty International, the non-governmental organization that has been campaigning worldwide in defence of human rights since 1961.
I am writing on the case of Mr. 'Abed al-Rahman al-Ahmar, a human rights activist arrested in Bethlehem last November 22, 2002 and placed in administrative detention for six months as of December 3 on charges of being "a danger to the security of the area". He is currently detained at the 'Ofer Detention Centre.
I believe 'Abed al-Rahman al-Ahmar has never used or promoted the use of violence and that he has been detained solely because of his commitment in favour of human rights. For this reason I respectfully urge you to order his immediate and unconditional release and to make sure he has access to the necessary medical assistance in the meantime.

75. Ban Pro Ana/ Pro Mia Websites
There are Pro Anorexia/Pro Bulimia websites all over the Internet, easily accessable to our children who are quite impressionable and lacking win the self-esteem department.
If these websites cannot be banned then they must have the same thing as porn websites. If you choose to visit these sites you must provide ID to prove you are age 18 and over, otherwise access is denied.
I think that's only fair to all involved, even though I think that websites that promote sickness are wrong. I know that we can only do so much.

This petition will help put together rights for the blind and deaf community in Canada. 77. Farndon A46 access - Farndon crossroads should have traffic lights
Farndon village residents have to negotiate the A46 when entering or leaving the village. This trunk road is extremely busy and at times perilous. We believe that there needs to be traffic lights at Farndon crossroads to alleviate the risk and prevent any further accidents and subsequent loss of life.
We, the students enrolled in the shop classes, have most of our classes in this area during the day. We think we should have access to park near the shop area during the school day. Most of the students at SHS are not any closer to their locker or classes by parking in this area. We would like this area to be designated to the shop classes.

80. MSN and Webtv Users Demand Access to Talk City
This is being Sent to MSN to let them know that we Webbies are MAD about their latest attempt to save money by cutting us off from Talk City because they were too CHEAP to pay a higher rate!
Sometime in May when Talk City raised their rates to use their services, MSN said "NO" to the higher rate therefore cutting the Webtv Users off from using Talk City as our chat line. Some of us Webbies have been chatting in Talk City since we first came online. This petition is being sent to MSN to let them know "WE ARE MAD!! They cut their expenses, but ours stayed the same each month. We are the Customer WE should be the ones saving money, not them. And Talk City came up with a brilliant idea: Lets charge the webbies $12.00 a year for them to use our website, since MSN refused to pay the increase. Some of you have paid it, but if you are like me, you already pay enough for your ISP Service, and can't afford to pay more.We have a right to appeal and we are!!! Some of us made friends in Talk City, and we even had our own little family, and now they want to cut us off from that?? Don't let MSN run us. We feel that this is unfair and is neglecting the large numbers of Stargate fans around the world.

My Name is Edward Goldstone. I am just one of many fathers who has had to say goodbye to their child. The last time I saw my son was July 9, 2000. This is due in large part to a court system that has large biases in custudy cases that give more rights to mothers as a parent. More often than not, the courts note only the father's income, rather than their ability to love and care for their child.
On December 22,1999, at the Abbotsford Courthouse, I was given legal visitation rights to see my son, and was required to pay a monthy child maintenance. Since then, in breach of the law, his mother has taken him and disappeared, denying me the right to see my boy, Austin. With the aid of private investigator, I have searched for my son's mother and grandmother with no success. I continue to pay monthly maintenance. Family Maintenance Program (which I volunteered to pay her through) knows where they are but doesn't have authorization to tell me.
Although she is deliberately breaking the law, the authorities can do nothing to stop her. This is due to the omission of a peace officer clause. Without this clause the police can't help me, essentially the court order means nothing. I am trying to get Dads' voices heard. Both parents should be given joint custody (providing the child is not in any danger) and a peace officer clause be included, to make the order inforceable.
I would like your help to put pressure on the Canadain Government to change these out-dated laws. You could help greatly by signing this petition. Its time for dads to have equal rights as parents!

Eighty years ago Banting and Best discovered a cure for diabetis, derived from animal pancrease, it has worked very well for many sufferers of this disease, however the supply is not available to all. Therefore this is unjust, dangerous to health, to be subjected to a artificial insulin without choice, in particular children, which is proving to be very harmful according to reports, and my personal experience, so please help.

Background: during much of the last 18 years, a devastating war has been raging in Sudan. It has cost the lives of two million people and forced more than four million people from their homes and ancestral lands. The war is marked by a systematic campaign of terror by the government in Khartoum against its own people, especially Christians and practitioners of African traditional religions.
The denial of religious freedom in the North, the systematic persecution of Christians, and the destruction of African cultural identity lie at the heart of the conflict. Religion and culture are manipulated by a government that thirsts for power and money. While the principal responsibility lies with the Khartoum government, there are credible reports of human rights abuses in the South, notably by the Sudanese People's Liberation Movement/Army (SPLM/A), the main rebel group in southern Sudan.
For the more than thirty million Sudanese living in the largest country in Africa, the war continues to disrupt their lives, forcing them to live in a permanent state of insecurity and fear. The bombings of hospitals, schools, churches, homes and fields by the government in Khartoum continues to threaten the lives of innocent civilians in the south and other contested areas, including the Nuba Mountains. The government also denies humanitarian access to international donor agencies that seek to provide food, medicines and other items vital to the survival of those most vulnerable.
The bishops of Sudan fully support the Declaration of Principles that was signed by the two major parties to the conflict. The Declaration of Principles provide a framework for a comprehensive cease-fire, conditions for the creation of an interim government, an equitable distribution of economic resources, and the holding of a referendum in the South to allow the people to decide for themselves their political future. Support by the U.S. government and the international community for peace initiatives based on these fundamental principles is essential if there is to be a just and lasting peace. It is also critical that all parties to the conflict, the regional neighbors of Sudan and the international community, cooperate as broadly as possible in this process.
USCC Recent Trip to Sudan: A delegation of bishops from the USCC recently visited Khartoum and southern Sudan. They witnessed, first hand, the suffering of the Sudanese people, especially the more than 2 million internally displaced living in and around Khartoum in a permanent situation of insecurity, harassment, religious and social isolation and economic exclusion. War in the South and other contested areas has caused tremendous human suffering. Aerial bombardments of civilian targets by the government in Khartoum continues. Thousands of people are driven from their homes and lands in oil-rich areas.
USCC Position: The Sudanese government must stop bombings of civilian targets in the south and other contested areas.
The Sudanese government and rebel groups must halt the abduction and enslavement of the Sudanese from oil-rich areas and northern Bahr Al-Ghazal region, as well as other human rights violations.
The Sudanese government, the international community and multinational oil companies must take steps to ensure that revenues generated by the development of oil resources are not used to fuel the war.
The Sudanese government must respect religious freedom and a the many African cultures represented by the Sudanese peoples and stop its program of forced Islamization and Arabization.
Action Requested: We urge that all Catholics and others of good will write to the President of the United States and the Secretary of State with two specific requests: That the new U.S. administration raise the level of involvement of the President of the United States and the Secretary of State in the matter of Sudan, and that it press our allies in Europe and elsewhere to bring increased diplomatic pressure upon the Government of Sudan to work for a just resolution to the war. Also, that the President name a high-level Special Envoy to Sudan who will be given a clear mandate and have direct access to the President and the Secretary of Sudan
