Background (Preamble):
Currently under PRIVATE water company which has announced a plan to BORROW $3.2 million for system upgrades from the STATE that the residents of West Valley will be held accountable for - increasing water bill surcharges for water use $800 in addition to an undetermined amount annually for loan repayment.
Municipal buildings and schools will also be responsible for loan repayments which will increase taxes.

Petition:
We the undersigned call on the Town of WEST VALLEY and its Attorney to protect the people's interests in plans for the PRIVATE water supply and loan applications pending by the PRIVATE water company (WEST VALLEY CRYSTAL WATER CO.).
Re-evaluating the water supply to be turned into and maintained as a municipal supply so that public monies and grants can be used to maintain a safe water supply without causing financial hardship on the residents of West Valley.
