Petition Background (Preamble):
In 1985 the Government banned the Stonehenge free festival, and this is the cause of all the problems we face concerning Stonehenge as I believe if there was a festival the Stones would get more protection as most would be reveling at the festival and not all packed into the circle like sardines standing on each others feet and pushing ones way in.
With a festival and equitable access I am sure Stonehenge could become the pride of the World.
