We do not want our students to be considered guinea pigs for this new schedule for the Washington County School System. Students will lose out on two classes each year.
Due to this change, this will not allow students to take higher-level for college-bound classes. Limited classes will decrease students ability to take music & arts classes, foreign language classes, and advanced placement classes for the college-bound

We, the undersigned, call the Washington County Board of Education to eliminate the six-period instructional schedule to be administered only at Smithsburg High School in Smithsburg, MD.
