Background (Preamble):
Over 75,000 mares are kept in cruel confinement with rubber bags strapped to them collecting their urine to make Premarin, an estrogen replacement drug.
They are deprived of adequate water, exercise, socialization, and affection. Their babies are taken from them at approx. 3 months of age and sold for slaughter.

Petition:
I wish to inform Wyeth-Ayerst pharmaceuticals that I will never take Premarin, Prempro, Prempac, or Premphase because of the cruelty to the horses involved. I will also inform my friends and relatives about the hidden cruelty in the Premarin drugs.
