Background (Preamble):
On-Street parking has become a problem within our community in Windmiller Ponds. There are too many cars parked along the street instead of driveways, creating a safety concern within our neighborhood. We have a lot children that are at play. Street parking has reduced visibility of the sidewalks and curbs.
On-street cars have also made vehicular traffic difficult, only allowing one car through congested streets, increasing the liklihood of car accidents. In the winter, parked cars have made street-plowing difficult leaving many of us snowed into our driveways. And lastly, street-parking is an eye-sore and depreciates the value of the neighborhood.

We the residents of Windmiller Ponds, in Pickerington Ohio call on the City of Pickerington for a ban on street-parking within our neighborhood for the purposes of pedestrian and child safety, vehicular safety, winter street clearing, and community pride.
