Background (Preamble):
Over 250,000 healthy cats and dogs are being put down per year, due to the issue of over breeding resulting in them having no owners, no home and therefore.. no life.
It is unjust and unfair to spare the life of an animal, if help can be given to them. Please remove the 7-14 day euthanization policy, and instead provide foster carers to look after them until they find homes.
Let's all speak out, for the animals that can't.

Petition:
I, Brittany Bloomer, call on the NSW government to ensure that all death row policies are wiped out in NSW. I hope for a future with no 7-14 day euthanisation threats imposed upon innocent healthy and rehomable animals, Instead I believe volunteer rescue groups and foster care programs should be provided to care for these animals until they find a home.
Furthermore I understand these issues are resulted from mass un-regulated and indiscriminate breeding which over populate the pounds with many unwanted animals. Another progressive step to take, would be to encourage all NSW Councils to adopt the Gettin2Zero whole community model which promotes and supports strategies to stop the killing of all healthy and rehomable animals.
