The Flagler County Transportation system is making little kids walk up to 2 miles home.
Petition:
The Flagler County Transportation System is cutting back on buses, but maybe going a little extreme. The Flagler County Transportation System has made it where if you live withing 2 miles of the school you will not be riding a bus. There are little 1st and 2nd graders walking up to 2 miles to there house.
Also, The Flagler County Transportation System is not being specific with the rule, some kids live maybe 2.3 miles which is outside 2 miles but the still have to walk. Do you really want your kid having to walk 2 miles home. And with gas now some parents cant afford gas to take and pick up their kids every day.
