Background (Preamble):
On the 6th Of June 2008, The South Australian Government released the Country Health Care Plan, A plan that could see up to 43 regional hospitals downgraded.
This would force rural residence to travel further away from their families and communities to get the care they need.

The Petition of the undersigned Residents of South Australia has been raised to call on the Government to withdraw the Country Health Care Plan published on the
6 June 2008.
Your petitioners therefore pray that your honourable House will support the continued funding of Country Health SA services at the existing hospitals and health facilities in rural South Australia.
