Target: Slough Borough Council
Region: United Kingdom
Web site: http://savehomemaker.wordpress.com/
Background (Preamble):
Slough Borough Council has served Slough Furniture Project (Home Maker) with a notice to vacate the premises. This notice requires HomeMaker to leave their current premises by 31st March 2012 in order to relocate one of the commercial units underneath the Wentworth Avenue flats.
There are currently 4 retailers under the flats. There are also 4 available retail units in the southern parade of shops. We believe that there is NO NEED for Slough Homemaker to be evicted as there is already provision for these other retail units.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on Slough Borough Council to withdraw the notice of eviction served on Slough Furniture Project (HomeMaker) on 20th January 2012 and allow HomeMaker to remain in its current location until a new shopping precinct is built.
