Background (Preamble):
Plaid Cymru has obtained a secret Gwent Police Authority paper that lists twenty-five stations that could be closed by Spring 2012. The financial constraints faced by Gwent Police are in no way the fault of the local force.
The UK Government should provide the police with the necessary resources for delivering safer communities.

I, the undersigned, call on Gwent Police Authority to reconsider its plans for the mass closure of Police Stations in the area and further call on the Government at Westminster to devolve law and order issues to the Welsh Assembly to allow full local control of the Gwent Police Force.
