Save Gamston Green Belt

We, the undersigned call on all appropriate planning authorities, local, regional and central government and, if necessary, the Secretary of State to refuse permission for any large scale development on the green belt in the parish of Holme Pierrepont and Gamston.

In our view any large scale development would pose a real threat to the environment and would represent a loss of leisure and visual amenity for the residents of Gamston, Bassingfield, Adbolton and Holme Pierrepont plus the surrounding villages and West Bridgford.

Further, any such development would not be sustainable and the infrastructure is totally inadequate.
