This petition is now closed.
Background (Preamble):
Fife Council are currently in the process of deciding whether Dunfermline High School should be rebuilt as a new build school, or the current building should undergo a refurbishment. The current budget of £30million does NOT include a budget for a new swimming pool.

As well as the swimming pool being the heart of the Community Use area of the school, 1500 children and adults learn to swim there every week. This number could not be accommodated by Carnegie Leisure Centre when it re-opens.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on Fife Council to provide a reasonable budget to include a new or refurbished swimming pool in the new Dunfermline High School.
