Background (Preamble):
Following a terrifying road traffic accident involving myself and my family, I believe that measures need to be taken to make the above mentioned roads slower and safer.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on The Royal Borough to make the following roads, Castle Avenue, Eton Road and Pococks Lane slower and safer. We believe the following measures would ensure this:
Sleeping policemen (road bumps) on Eton Road and Castle Avenue, Speed cameras on Pococks Lane, Double lines to be painted on Pococks Lane, all ensuring overtaking is illegal.
More signposts warning of dangerous bends on Pococks Lane are required.
