Petition Background (Preamble):
It seems to me that the Corp of Engineers takes great delight in closing down areas where atv's frequent. I personally see nothing wrong with riding an atv on government land that our tax dollars maintain. As we all sat and watched the last Presidential election, we saw what a difference our vote could make. We need to take this opportunity to make our voices heard as politicians know it too.
Petition:
We the undersigned would like to make a request of the Federal Government. We request that the Corp of Engineers reopen the area on the north side of Arkabutla Lake for use with all terrain vehicles.
