We hereby request that the Iranian authorities release Dr. Mohammad Ali Salmani Nodoushan, a political prisioner who is being kept captive because of religious reasons, being himself an intellectual and a highly appreciated linguist who represents no threat to the regime.
We want human rights to be respected and therefore strongly reject death sentence and illegal torture, which he suffers while under custody.
