Region: United States of America
Background (Preamble):
President Obama is scheduled to visit the Brent Spence Bridge on I-71/I-75 which links Kentucky with Ohio in Cincinnati to spotlight the need for increased investment in America's infrastructure.
Please join me in petitioning the president to extend his visit to Louisville, KY which is suffering immense economic losses due to the closure of the Sherman Minton Bridge on I-64 which links Indiana and Kentucky.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the President of the United States of America to extend a visit to the Sherman Minton Bridge which linked Kentucky and Indiana on I-64 prior to its emergency closure on Friday, September 10th. One of the major emphases of your current promotion tour for the American Jobs Act is a call to increase investment in America's ailing infrastructure.
We believe that there is no finer or more timely example of this issue as the situation surrounding the closure of the Sherman Minton Bridge.
