Petition Background (Preamble):
I know of too many people who have been attacked, mugged and robbed of their civil freedom. The offenders have all too often walked free, or the victim not believed or required to strive against adversity to convince of their story.
The police do not seem so bothered about catching the real criminals and offenders on our streets that they do trying to catch out unfortunate souls who have forgotten to pay their tax/ TV licence due to unfortunate circumstance.
Police formalities have become a complete farce. The police should be back on our streets making them safer for the majority of good people.

Petition:
I have started this petition against the general unwillingness of the police to protect and serve the innocent, not bothering to adequately punish the guilty and basically just filling in their little procedure forms at their desks instead of striving for real justice.
