In The Throne Speech of March 3, 2010, it was said that a concern about the gender inequality of Canada’s National Anthem would be passed onto Parliament to assess if a more gender-neutral version should be considered.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, are calling upon the Parliament to not make any changes to our current National Anthem.
We, men & women alike, feel it accurately portrays us as a Proud, Free & Patriotic country.
