Currently there is only one nurse rostered to work in Muswellbrook Emergency Department (ED) and the Special Care Unit.
We need a second Registered Nurse 24/7 for the Muswellbrook ED to make the ED a safe area for patients and staff.

The Muswellbrook Community deserves better.
Currently there is only one nurse rostered to work in Muswellbrook Emergency Department (ED) and the Special Care Unit. We need a second Registered Nurse 24/7 for the Muswellbrook ED to make the ED a safe area for patients and staff.
We the undersigned call on The Hon. George Souris MP (Member for the Upper Hunter) to actively intervene in this matter by ensuring that an additional Registered Nurse is rostered 24/7. We need our local state MP, Mr Souris, to take a stand for safe patient care. The community of Muswellbrook deserves better.
