Market Drayton's two biggest car parks owned by Shropshire Council, until recently, have offered free, safe parking to disabled blue badge holders.
We believe this is wrong and the charges should be removed for people with blue badges!

We are campaigning for Shropshire Council to remove the unfair parking charges for disabled blue badge holders in Market Drayton.
Until recently parking had been free for blue badge holders, now they have to get to and from their car to pay the charges. This comes at a time when people have already started deserting the town centre due to the high increases in parking charges, we need as many people as we can to come to Market Drayton and visit the shops.
