In California, there are special laws protecting the free speech rights of students in public and private high school (California Education Code, Sections 48907 and 48950)
We have the right to freedom of expression.
We have the right to organize a peaceful rally or demonstration at our school.
A new dress code has not been proven to improve the learning environment and violates our freedom of expression.
If we all speak out as one voice, we can help change FUSD for the better.
