Make 9/11 A National Holiday!

Background (Preamble):
On September 11, 2001, America was hit by the biggest terrorist attack in history! At 8:46 AM in the morning of September 11th, 2001, the United States became a terrorist target. An airliner traveling at hundreds of miles per hour crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan, New York.
At 9:03 AM, a second airliner hit the South Tower. Less than one hour and thirty minutes later both towers, where over 40,000 people worked daily, collapsed. At 9:37 AM that same morning the terror continued. A third airliner crashed into the western side of the Pentagon.
At 10:03 AM, a fourth airliner crashed in a field in southern Pennsylvania after heroic passengers, with the knowledge that America was under attack, stood up for America and saved the White House from being attacked! Nearly 3,000 people died that single day, passing the death toll of Pearl Harbor in December 1941.
We must never forget this day in American history! It's time to "Make 9/11 A National Day of Remembrance". Let's make September 11 a National Holiday!

To the President and Congress of the United States of America:
The citizens of the United States of America, in the aftermath of the tragedy of September 11, 2001, hereby request that a national holiday be set aside as a national day of honor and remembrance for the victims, families, heroes and all other lifes affected by the terrorist attacks.
We the undersigned, are asking the leaders of this great nation, to set aside September 11th as a national holiday to be observed annually by all Americans and the generations of Americans yet to come.
