Background (Preamble):
Introduction: For centuries, Hmong graves have been desecrated and destroyed in many countries including the thousands of graves in refugee camps in Thailand and Laos.
Hmong regard the graves as sacred ground and believe that disturbance to them will cause illness and death to the living members.

Petition:
We, the undersigned citizens, hereby empower and endorse the National Hmong Grave Desecration Committee to seek a peaceful resolution to the pending graves desecration issue in Thailand.
We urge all governments and the United Nations to establish a committee to safeguard human graves around the world.
