Background (Preamble):
A family friend has recently lost her daughter to obesity, this is not a one off case, When my friend took her daughter to the doctors all she was offered was her name to be put on a waiting list to have a operation, the wait on this list can be anything up to and over a year, We know that if Lyndsay was a smoker or anorexic all doors to treatments would be open.
I am asking that we get more help and advice for obese people and their familys, more drop in centres and or hospital treatments to be available.

We, the undersigned, call on the government to look into setting up more help, advice and treatments for obesity, not only for the person concerned but for their loved ones as well.
